Absolutely recommendable”
Cottages with 2 rooms. Rooms have double bed plus single bed. Large garden perfectly maintained with large pool. Excellent restaurant with large selection. Excellent breakfast buffet. You can even have a beer (which is not always obvious in Java). I love this hotel and strongly recommend it. Only small minor point: Wifi is open and unprotected.

It's a little outside of the main village, what turns it in one of the relaxest places there. The view from the pool, all made in wood, the service and the traditional massage were all perfect. I'll come back if I could. Thanks for all

Very pleasant stay, great service”
We enjoyed a very pleasant stay in Kalibaru Cottages en route to Sukamade Turtle Beach in Meru Betiri National Park. We booked our trip to Sukamade Turtle Beach also through Kalibaru Cottages. The trip to the Turtle Beach was very well organised with lots of free additional excursions by the guide to a farmer processing it's own sugercane, tradtional market visit, hiking to Teluk Ijo (Green Bay) and more while travelling to and from Sukamade. On the return trip we got dropped-off at Ketapang for the ferry to Bali at our request. Both driver and guide were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful throughout these 2 wonderful days, highly recommended!

Nice cottages in nice surroundings!”
we found kalibaru cottages to be a very pleasant place to stay. the cottages are spread around on a beautiful terrain. the rooms where nice and clean, we especially liked the semi-open bathroom. the staff was very friendly and helpfull. one of the main reasons for us to get to kalibaru was to visit a plantation and learn more about the production of cinnamon, rubber and vanilla for example. kalibaru cottages provided a well organized tour!

once you arrive at kalibaru your there no way out unless you get a driver the tours are extremely expensive the hotel has no wifi in rooms as advertised the staff very friendly and helpfully the pool very nice beds very comfortable massage lady very good they have bbc and one french channel on tv. this is a great hotel to run away from life

The cottages are located in a stunning garden next to a large pool and a huge restaurant overlooking the complex. The cottages are very comfertable and you can sit contemplating this all on your own porch.This all in a nice cool climate amidst the palmtrees.

The hotel was a very nice place to relax. The fresh air, beautiful surroundings make my holiday perfect. The room was clean enough but I find ants in my water warmer. They give you free breakfast and dinner but the taste.. Not very good but edible. A very nice place to celebrate new year after all since there was a firework party at the midnight

Nice spacious rooms and large swimming pool”
Spacious rooms and lovely semi outdoor bathroom. Large pool with ucomfortable rusty bedchairs. Friendly staff took orders at the poolside but delivery lasted long. Restaurant needs new lights. The brilliant white savinglamps create a deplorable atmosphere. Drinks in display with white TL-light underscores a cheap hostel like appearence. Busy road thus traffic is hearable in the garden.

Nice but remote”
It was good. However I would not recommend it as a solo travel destination. It was far from town and activities were very expensive unless you could split the cost. I needed to go to town though and a member of staff took me by bike and was very kind and helpful. The room was lovely,I liked the bathroom. However the wifi didn't work very well and TV had very limited channels if it worked!
