Arrived really late to check in so reception said to rest up and fill out the paperwork tomorrow instead. Absolutely considerate of them to do so. I had a list of places I wanted to see and they arranged lovely driver to chauffeur and guide us around. Dani was very friendly and helpful, he even protected us from more forceful market sellers. One morning I was surprised at breakfast to have the staff singing happy birthday to me. It was so sweet of them to remember and they also brought me a candle in a slice of cake. Then after a tour, I came back to the hotel room find a big Happy birthday sign beside my bed. They truly know how to make someone special. I had the pool view room. It was absolutely spacious and clean. Staff would drop by to light up mosquito burners so you can comfortably sit and enjoy the view. Highly recommend this villa and the staff made my stay memorable.

I stayed here for 4 nights in June, the location is perfect, you can go to the restaurants, market, anything on foot in about 10 mins. Staff were the best of all, super friendly and helpful, smiling all day. The place is quiet and beautiful. They have a "sister hotel" where you can go for a yoga class and cooking class on certain days, it's free and they take you there and back too. They have afternoon tea which consists of 4 miniature balinese cakes, different everyday, and coffee or tea from 3 to 7pm, by the pool, at the restaurant or in your room, a very nice touch if you ask me. Good breakfast, super clean, would definetely recommend to anyone and would book again when I go back!

great place in the middle of everything”
this was a great choice for us, lots of eateries, money exchange and cute shops near it. On one end of the street you can walk to the Monkey forest and you walk to the other end and there is the royal palace. The Ubud market for shopping is very near it and you can see most tourist buy their souvenirs there. The hotel is very easy to locate as it is in the main street, cute koi pond up front with their restaurant. By far the best staff in our whole stay in Bali, great resto staff and also, they take account of their guests! we went early for the Mt Batur tour and when we got back in the afternoon, they asked us where we were since we missed breakfast! Good pool, never got to enjoy it because of the things we had to do. Also, if you go somewhere else, best do you souvenir shopping in Ubud, prices are cheaper. Food wise, pricing almost the same in Seminyak if you go with the western looking restaurants.

Everything and more in great location!”
Room was everything we could ask for. We had a ground floor Deluxe Pool view room. Comfortable bed, pillows, everything in the bathroom you want, very clean, friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you. Beautiful gardens, free use of push bikes. Breakfast was the best we have had, complimentary daily afternoon tea brought to our room was a lovely touch to our stay. We will be back and would recommend Kujane Mua to anyone coming to stay in Ubud.

Exceptional”
Had a lovely time here. The location is very good and the staff were nice , helpful, and polite. The room was clean and spacious for 3 of us. It's located in the first floor, right in front of the swimming pool. Kajane Mua also has private villas with private pool which suitable for family. Other than that, Kajane has shuttle that can pick and drop us around Ubud. We used it to drop us to Bebek Bengil :) Will definitely recommend it to friends n family.

This is on of the best hotels to stay in, perfect location just in the middle of ubud market with free shuttle to the important highlights of the city. The staff are amazing they treat you as if you are the only one staying at the hotel, we had a problem with the lizards in our outside jacuzi (the lizards are common in ubud, when booking a villa with private pool and jacuzi you might encounter some) they managed it and offered us free massage and a room updrage to make it up for the inconvinience, they will help you plan your trip and book everything you need. The restaurant serves great food for a cheap price, they make sure you dont miss your afternoon tea that was offered for free. Their breakfasf buffet is good with an egg station. Highly recommended

Free Shuttle service all over Ubud”
We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is located 2 mins away from Monkey Forest and Ubud Market. The staff is extremely hospitable and go all out to make your stay comfortable. They give you free shuttle service in Ubud. They also packed us lunch boxes when we went for our Mount Batur trek at 1:30 am in the morning. Definitely recommended.

Loved this place! Beautiful and clean, fantastic pool, the staff were fabulous and friendly, the room was lovely, big and had a very comfortable bed (med firmness). Also very happy that they actually used duvet covers (not just two sheets with the duvet inside)! Will stay here again next time

Amazing stay ”
This hotel has a great location. Convenience store is just across the street with easy access to ATM, water, snacks. The monkey forest and Ubud palace and market is less than a mile away. The hotel also provides a shuttle service to attractions that leaves at specific times of the day. They also had a special for 2 hour massage for only 500,000 IDR which we took advantage of for all 3 days we were there. There are numerous restaurants and shops down on the same street as the hotel. The staff were super nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent location, great staff, beautiful rooms”
We stayed at Kajane Mua in June2019. We had a twin share room, 3rd floor. The room was beautiful, with a bright sunroom/sitting area attached. Bathroom was lovely, with a big bath separate shower. Spotlessly clean. Great amenities. The breakfast was okay. A couple of things to note for elderly, or less mobile travelers. There is no lift, many stairs without hand railings, and reception is quite a distance from the front of the hotel. Also, in the rain, much of the dining/breakfast area gets wet, and very slippery. However, it is important to note, the staff are amazing, and will do everything in their power to amend this as quickly as possible.

extremely hospitable with a stay jungle-like experience”
The most praise-worthy part of my stay in this hotel is the staff's professionalism to making your stay as perfect as possible. Everyone who attended to us spoke very decent english and could understand what we had requested for. The part that could be improved on was the selection of cooked food during the morning breakfast spread. Did not have sufficient variety and by the 3rd morning I was honestly getting a little tired of the breakfast provided. This hotel is also inconvenient for those with mobility issues and happen to be allocated to the rooms on the 3rd and 4th floor. Quite a fair bit of steps to climb which are very high in terms of step height. Otherwise, this hotel's location was superb being right in the heart of the main happening street in Ubud. Has tons of good food and great spas and massage places all within 10mins (500m) walking distance too. Would definitely recommend staying here again for those without mobility issues! Very supportive and an easy life in every way.”
No complaints. I need a cane to walk, so big and long stairways are a tiring activity and a somewhat dangerous procedure going down. Suggest at least one stairway in each building be equipped with a handrail or banister to help folks like me. Thank you if you agree.

Nice hotel in Ubud ”
The hotel is really nice along Ubud area. The staff were very nice as well. They took us to Check-in in the room and recommend all the facility. The size of the room and toilet is quite big compared to others. Just 1 thing for the English skill of the staff, that I asked the staff to send me the postcard which I already put the stamp on. Only need to put in the postbox but I could not find the box. The staff could not understand me and asked me more money to buy stampp!! I was a bit piss off on my rush morning. The check out was also slow. At the end she took my postcard and I did not pay I wish she could understand me and my postcard would be sent.

Wonderful stay. The hotel is in a very strategic location near all the popular restaurants and monkey forest. Hotel cleanliness, service and facilities are on top-notch. The morning breakfast was also good with many varieties of food. I can’t find anything bad about this hotel except that it could be cheaper. Would come back again!

Our second visit, and didn’t disappoint! We have booked a private pool villa both times. Ubud has become a busy town, but it’s nice to be in the center of the action (for us).
