This hotel is very good. It is located at a very good location and very nearby to Clark Quay MRT station. The room is not very big as such but enough space to keep your luggage and move around. The facilities are good with AC, hot water, kettle, tea, coffee, running water, drinking water, lift, etc. The staff is very cordial and helpful. Multiple lag points available to charge many devices. Lots of drawers and ample amount of space in cupboard to keep all your clothes. Would highly recommend anyone to go for this hotel.

Christmas Family Vacation”
We had a late check-in at around 3am because our flight got delayed from NAIA. There was someone waiting for us at the lobby, though he was asleep in the other room, nevertheless, check in was smooth and he just asked us to settle/confirm the payment later. The room at the end of the hall was smaller than the other room we rented, but there was still just enough space to move around with one big luggage and three smaller trolleys. The "queen size" bed is good for 2 persons, if you have a kid, we suggest you request for an extra bed. The pillows are firm and big and mattress was firm enough to hold me and my husband and our 11 year old son. Again, the bed is small for 2 adults and kid. The bathroom is big enough for a good shower, there is a heater, just make sure to turn on the switch which is located outside the bathroom. There is a small ref, good for storage of water and some leftover food. We like that the two rooms have windows for some air. The aircon works well. There is a TV but with limited channels, would be nice if there was Netflix in the room. The wifi is strong inside the rooms. There is a closet which is big enough to hang clothes and with lots of hangers, too. The cleaners are kind enough to offer housekeeping every morning, they know how to speak Tagalog. The location is great, just a few minutes to Clark Quay MRT, where it was stationed at the basement of a mall, and has an access to Riverside Clark Quay with lots of restaurants and bars to choose from, you can also find the Singapore Sling shot there. The restaurants are on the expensive side. The hotel is also close to some good Bak Kuh Teh, Legendary and Song Fa, just 2 minutes walk, and about 15 minutes walk you can also check out Boat Quay, Fullerton Hotel and Merlion, which is located on the other end of the road. There is also a small 7/11 store on the corner right in front of the escalator of the overhead pedestrian bridge to the Central Mall. There is also BurgerKing, Starbucks, and a good kaya toast place, and the best part is there is a japanese grocery with cooked food at the basement, Don Don Donki. They also offer 20% sale on the cooked food around 7 o 8 pm. Overall, our Singapore vacation was great because of the convenience brought about by the location of Jayleen Hotel. Lastly, Jayleen has good breakfast also, just make sure you go ahead before 9am to enjoy the hot food items. By 9:30am, there are lesser viands to choose from. They offer coffee, chocolate and a variety of tea in sachets, included in the breakfast spread.
Decent and Accessible: A Stay Close to Clarke Quay”
I recently stayed here, and overall, it was a decent experience. The location is quite convenient, though not directly on the main road, the MRT station and bus stop are close by, just a short walk of a few hundred meters, and you’ll need to cross the street. Additionally, there’s a mall nearby, easily accessible by crossing the street. As you approach, you’ll see Starbucks and Burger King right at the edge of the mall, and if you walk towards the intersection, you’ll spot a small food court, which might be a bit hard to notice during the day, but it offers tasty food at reasonable prices. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were welcoming, which made for a pleasant arrival. The hotel has a nice concept and a good vibe, but it seems to lack some maintenance, as the property could use a little more attention. My room had a window, which was fine, though it was a bit small. The bathroom was also compact, but the water pressure and hot water were excellent, so no complaints there. There’s also a vending machine next to the hotel with fresh orange juice, which is a nice added touch. The breakfast was good and offered a solid start to the day. For a hotel in the Clarke Quay area, it’s a solid choice, nothing too extravagant, but comfortable and functional for a short stay.

Hotel needs a revamp as it smells old already. The room is quite small but since there were 4 beds, it was enough for my family of 4. Basic necessities were there like blow dryer, towels, water, coffee, tea, and toiletries. Some cons would be the smell as it smells old and there is no shower curtain. Water gets everywhere. There were windows but they were high up, not a lot of light gets in. There were no slippers provided as well. However, we appreciated the memory foam pillows and the comfy comforters. The designs were also beautiful as they were of Victorian era I think. Uncles and Aunties in the front desk were helpful. There is a nearby hawker area and 7 11. Lots of bars and restaurants too.
