I absolutely loved the staff. Wonderful gentle souls who clearly have your interest in mind. Accommodation in the forest was out of this world as we were surrounded by it. The other guests were wonderful to interact with at breakfast or alongside your cabin. (The walls are not sound proof but our neighbors were very quiet as we tried to be). Try it out - I bet you’ll love it!

Basic room, no heating, a/c, fridge, tv. Room was cold and uncomfortable in January. There is a small coffee maker. No extra blankets or towels available. Beds and pillows are just ok. Can’t flush toilet paper which is awkward. Can hear neighbours in adjoining rooms and walking past your room as well as vehicle traffic. Coffee and hot water is always available in the main building which is steps away. Hot showers, great breakfast, friendly helpful staff and monkeys right outside your room. Location is walking distance from town Center and restaurants and within 30 minutes drive to the top attractions in the area. There are nicer places nearby but they are considerably more expensive. It is rustic as advertised.

We didn’t have a car, but that didn’t matter with Jaguarundi because it’s perfectly located and it’s magical being surrounded by nature! We would definitely stay again!!

Beautiful place but opportunity missed”
This is a gorgeous setting in the middle of the rain forest and very close to town. However, there is no place to sit outside and enjoy this perfect setting. No chairs, no glasses in the room, no amenities. The facility is missing a great opportunity to make it a very popular destination.
