Wonderful secluded luxury hotel and suites seconds from main square in a quiet street”
What a find! We were charmed by the style, quality and facilities from the moment we stepped through the glass doors into the courtyard and 'chandeliered' atrium reception area. A warm welcome, prompt help and glimpse of the bar and restaurant, then through the beautifully restored hotel, modern lift to our well appointed room and cosy, quality bathroom. We stayed 4 extremely comfortable nights and were very happy with the excellent restaurant service, tasty high end traditional food and bar stocks. The buffet breakfast was superb in wide range of foods on offer, full hot (replaced immediately anything depleted) and cold choices of meats and cheese, yoghurt and pastries as expected and some unexpected lovely surprises. Toast, tea and coffee continuously available from batista machines. Staff spoke English and were very helpful and friendly. Our luggage was locked away on the day we checked out to enable us to continue enjoying our last day in comfort, and there was a shuttle bus available, should we have needed it. We recommend this lovely place unreservedly and will go back if we visit Prague again. Out of season it was such good value (although a little more expensive when the Christmas markets began).

Wonderful Anniversary short break”
This is a magical hotel with suites as well, very close to the the main square, brimming with character and quality. The staff could not have been friendlier or more welcoming, they were amazing and saw to our every comfort and need. It was warm and cosy in December (we saw snow) and the food and drinks were delicious (inclusive breakfast buffet superb) and great value. We would definitely recommend it and go back. Our superior room on the first floor (lifts for higher floors) had charming furnishings, bar fridge, lovely ensuite, plenty of hot water, was super clean and well maintained. Netflix for when you are exhausted from the sights and tours. The best short break we have had for a long time and lovely memories.

Charming Hotel located in Old Town”
Iron Gates is a very beautiful, clean property located very close to the Old Town Square, Astronomical Clock and Charles Bridge. The rooms are very vintage and clean . Staff is very helpful and goes out of their way to help you . Breakfast is decent. You may have the carry your luggage for like 100m from the road to the hotel if the road is closed on the day that you arrive

Very clean and elegant hotel”
Elegant and beautiful hotel. However, the food at Deer Restaurant were very salty, maybe need to ask for reduced salt in your food. Otherwise it is a fantastic hotel. Near to everything and easy access. Highly recommended.

Superb Hotel”
Lovely location right in the middle of the Old Town. We had a deluxe suite which had a lovely big bed and separate sitting area and 2 tv's ! Even though we were in the centre of the tourist area during the hustle of the Christmas period, the hotel was very quiet. Hotel staff were lovely and the hotel and rooms were very clean. Complementary robes and slippers as well as an umbrella were available in the room. We were room only so I can't comment on the food. We loved it so much we hope to return later in the year.

Great place to stay right in the centre of Prague”
Had a really lovely stay at Iron Gate Hotel. My adult daughter and I shared one of their Superior rooms. Breakfast was superb. Hotel staff very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is within a couple of minutes walk from the Old Town Square but tucked away from any noise or through traffic in a quiet pedestrian area. Truly excellent and I do hope to return with my husband some time.

IT HAS AIR CONDITIONER!!!!”
Read the fine print. Accommodation tax needs to be paid at the end of your stay, so don't be too surprised. Europe summer is hot so having air con in the room was a blessing (even though it's not super powerful, but we appreciate it). Room is very big with daily room service and refill. Walls are thick so the noises never bother us anyway. Feels nice and luxurious with the old style decoration. Staffs are lovely and very happy to assist with anything. The Deer Restaurant has great food. But you might need booking (directly with the restaurant, not the hotel) if you want to sit indoor. In Prague, people smoke outdoors. Convenient location to all the big attractions of Prague. Room prices are not cheap, but it is worth it if you want a pleasant vacation stay. No drama.

Amazing all around”
We had a fantastic trip to Prague and the hotel was in a perfect spot to walk to all main attractions easily. The room was very large (we upgraded to a suite) abs staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and had adequate choices. The outdoor patio was very nice. Clean, comfortable and well placed hotel. Would definitely stay again.

Great location and perfect place for money”
This hotel is literally in the middle of everything in Prague. Walking distance to Old Town Square, Charles Bridge, Astronomic Clock, etc. 1-1,5km distance to famous parks, Dancing House etc. Staff was friendly in general. The room was decorated nicely, breakfast was really good. The only thing to consider is, since the floors are wooden, you can easily hear other people's voices and footsteps. First days were very nice but the last day, we could not make our baby sleep because of other customers' loud voices. It is not hotels fault of course but just take this into consideration. Thanks overall.
