This is a great place if you want to be in the nightlife scene. It’s about a 25-30 minute walk from the main station which can be a bit far. The staff were not particularly friendly.

in front of RKC college. ”
this review especially for RKC students. the hotel is in front of the college which it is inside the techno park (TP). The room is clean as well as the bathroom. they have two types of rooms. double room for two persons but its a bit small. room for 3 is excellent choice for 2 persons. i stayed in 3 persons room, me and my friend and it was excellent. The college is inside the TECHNO PARK and in front of it 3 hotels, 1 IBIS west, 2 IBIS budget west and Novetel. i stayed in 1 IBIS WEST. Novotel is expensive and IBIS Budget is not a good option.

The room is clean but somehow there is this smoky smell in the room that I dislike. The bed is comfortable and large enough. The room is bright as it has a large window. Need to note that there is no coffee/tea making facilities in the room. That means there is no kettle to boil water as well. The tram stop (No. 4) at Technopark is behind the hotel and it's about 12 minutes ride to Zurich HB station. You can also take a train to Hardbrucke Station from Zurich HB (less than 5 mins ride), but you need to walk for about 10 mins to the hotel. If the weather is hot, I suggest you take the tram which is quite frequent (every 10 mins).

The hotel location is a short walk from the technopark tram station, but not near to the city. But it is walking distance to the train station that takes me to the airport, which is convenient. The staff is helpful and nice. The room is spacious, of a good size. The pillows are too soft, and no longer has a shape., but bed is still comfortable. The room does not come with a kettle.

Lovely hotel, quiet location”
Everything is expensive in Swiss so this is considered a budget hotel with real value for money. The location is a bit far from city centre (main train station area) but there's a tram stop just a short walk from hotel and taxis always around. The area is very quiet especially during weekend and evening (it's industrial park area). There's also a 24hr hotel bar if you feel like hanging out but too lazy to go out of hotel.

Lovely, nice bed, clean hotel and service friendly, slightly away from city center but walking distance to tram stop and train station. Tram fare about 4.20 Swiss Franc to city centre. 18 Franc by cab from Train Central Station Zurich to hotel. Quiet place, near fitness park/center.

Nice hotel , great service and very friendly”
Great basic hotel. Good beds to sleep in and quiet environment. No minibar or such, but walk down to the bar and you can get drinks & food in your room later on. Very friendly staff. Free wifi over the whole hotel . Breakfast is a buffet in typical Swiss environment, with lots of cow paintings and chalet-feeling inside the restaurant. The public parking downstairs has immediate access to the hotel and is at reduced rate for hotel guests, you need to pay the parking at the reception and not in the terminals on the parking floor. Very enjoyable.

Room was very small, room clean & bed comfortable. Close to tram stop to Zurich city. Switzerland is very expensive country where everything is overpriced eg $7AU for cup of coffee. This hotel was value for money in Switzerland,but poor value compared with the rest of Europe. For same money in elsewhere in Europe this would buy a four star hotel.
