"For the price one pays at an Ibis Hotel, it proved impossible for us to fault this one in Prague. We were greeted by the friendliest of staff and nothing proved too difficult for them to render ready assistance to us. This hotel is only a very short walk to most of Prague's wonderfully interesting sights and experiences. Shopping is just a stone's throw away. Good restaurants abound, particularly directly over the road to the hotel. The hotel's own food (we enjoyed breakfast there) is excellent and good value. Very little to complain about if anything. Well done Ibis Praha Old Town! - and thank you!"

"The hotel's location, breakfast and staff service and courtesy was the key highlight. I had a bad experience when the shower holder rod came off and fell on my feet. Was lucky to get away with a minor cut as it could have broken some bones in my foot. The tram / bus stop n front of the hotel is a great bonus and even metro is 3 minutes away. One must buy the 24 hour public transport ticket for just Euro 4.2 which is very cheap and good to go anywhere in Prague. Since the hotel is also within walking distance of the old city (The Powder Tower, The Astronomincal Clock, The Charles Bridge, even the Palace is walkable or take Tram no 5 and then 22 to reach the Palace). The staff are very service oriented and helpful but the hotel falls short of a real 5 star. I would put it at high 4 star. We did not find the food at the Bristro great even though the breakfast spread is amazing. "

"The hotel is located 800m away from the historical centre, very near. Also the staff is very kind and the cleanliness of the rooms and halls is amazing. Breakfast is one of the best ones I’ve ever tried in any hotel, everything you want and more. (There is a pianist playing the piano while you’re having breakfast). I was leaving the hotel very early, before breakfast time, and nicely they prepared for me a couple of sandwiches, two pieces of fruit, biscuits and water. I’d recommend this hotel 100%. Great location (shopping mall, Lidl, and historical centre very near), great staff, very comfy beds and pillows.... One contra is the bath. It’s very high from the floor, and it’s difficult to reach it. If you’re a person with difficulties or any bones disease, please ask them first if they have a more accessible room for you. "
