Hotels near Praha Bike

This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Not only does it cost less than a typical 3 star price, it's quality far exceeds a typical 4 star standard. The hot breakfast is included and tasty. The room is huge and clean. The coffee and juice are free all day. The staff is super helpful. On our check out date we had to leave very early, and they packed breakfast for us for the road. Amazing. I will for sure stay here again if I ever return to Prague.

Hotel Sovereign Prague is an older-style traditional hotel located close to the train station, Praha hlavni nadrazi. The check-in staff are friendly and speak English. There is a single lift and is old-style, where you have to operate the door yourself. The lift is small and only fits one person and their luggage at a time. There is a second lift, but it appeared to only be available for emergency purposes. My room on the 1st floor had an extremely high ceiling (about 15 feet or 4.5 metres by my estimation). You will almost never find this feature in more modern hotels, and it gave the room a more voluminous feeling to it. Note that if the card is removed from the cardholder beside the exit, the room lights will not work! It took me a while to figure this out. In terms of the location, the hotel is within a short walk of Praha hlavni nadrazi, the train station, which is convenient if you are arriving/departing by train. The station also provides access to the Metro C line, for easy access to tourist attractions. In the opposite direction, it is a short walk to Wenceslas Square. Free breakfast is included for hotel guests and the buffet breakfast is excellent. There is plenty of hot food, fruits, baked goods and beverages. In terms of room for improvement, the hotel was a bit on the expensive side - I was expecting a bit more for this price. The hotel restaurant (Mr. A.) was closed for 3 of the 4 nights that I was there (10 Jun 2017 - 12 Jun 2017) - hotel guests do get 10% off at the restaurant. In the room itself, the water in the shower takes about a minute to warm up. I would consider staying here again, but I would also shop around to see if there are less expensive alternatives in the area.

The hotel is pretty small one on a small road but was not difficult to find. It's only ten minutes walk from Wenceslas Square and the Museum metro station and only around 20 minutes walk from the central station, Praha hl n. Charles Bridge is 30 minutes away on foot or a few minutes away by tram. Room is pretty small but enough for a good night sleep. Bathroom is also small but very clean. The receptionist is friendly and helpful (and beautiful). We could even buy tram ticket from her. What I like the most about the hotel is the free wifi which perform quite well. The only negative thing about Purpur is that they did not turn on the heating when it was rather cold for us (around 15~16 degree C, I suppose). However, the receptionist did give us a small portable heater which helped. Overall, it is a good value.

Fusion is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. The dorms are more like stripped down four star hotel rooms, with two bathrooms per 6 bed room. The rooms, including linens, were cleaned daily. Everything was new, modern, and sparking. The staff, especially Jakob at the reception, were above and beyond the call of duty, going out of their way to make sure to accommodate your every need. On the down-side, the bunk design was awkward, with two sets lying side by side. Still, they were comfortable sturdy. Also, the locker I was assigned was broken. Lastly, which isn't really the hostel's fault, the place was overrun by drunken Dutch and German teenage boys, and the rooms on the first floor could hear the music from the bar. But, hey, this is Prague in high season...shame on you if you're in bed before sunrise anyway ;-)

This is by far the best experience I had for hotels in Europe. I booked the hotel last minute and cancelled my original accommodation. I’m glad I did. Salvator boutique gave me the attic room which is my preference. I was completely amazed by the size of the room. It was spacious. I am short so the room was really perfect. I love the windows, the hair dryer, the drying rack. The shower and the free toiletries. The staff were really helpful in airport transfer and other information. They are always smiling and really friendly. The hotel room is also clean and complete with a fridge, snacks, coffee pot etc.. Bed was also comfortable.. I will stay here again and will definitely recommend to my friends in Tokyo and Manila.

This hotel was beautiful, just what i was expecting of a typical czech hotel. we had a beautiful view out over the river. But and this is a big BUT, the hotel is situated on the busy main road, going through Prague, with trams trundeling along. Also its opposite the largest european disco ( so it said) so if your very sensitive to noise this is not the place for you. we heard no music only the people queuing to go into the disco and coming out again. It didnt bother us at all. But because of this i only gave 3 stars for the location.

The hotel is located about 2 mins walk from Praha Hlavní Nádraží, hence, it will be very convenient. There are also metro station nearby which is reachable in about 5-7 mins walk. Convenient stores and eateries are also walking distance. Many money changers located nearby too. Many of the staffs can't speak english, only the one at the reception can speak english, at times it can be quite difficult to communicate with them if the person at the reception is away.

I had one of the best experience staying in a hotel anywhere here, and I've literally traveled to almost every corner of the globe. I arrived early and not expected to be able to check in at 8.30 in the morning so I just walked in just to ask to leave my luggage at the concierge and, to my surprise, the reception was very helpful and found me a room right then and there! So I could take a shower and had a little nap after 10 hours flight, I was impressed. On my last day my flight was leaving at 8 p.m. so I just dropped by the reception and ask if they could let me check out a little late and, again, they work it out for me so I could check out at 3.30 in the afternoon! This was, by far and large, the friendliest hotel staff I've met. Granted, the room was not as spacious as others I've stayed in but it was more than adequate and the hardwares were a little dated compare to the more modern hotels but you'll do just fine staying here. The best part of this Hilton Old Town is their access to all mode of public transportation which is "A Must" for exploring Prague, Namesti Republicky Metro Station is right down the corner and it takes 2 minute walk! Train Station is across the street although not the main station(HL.N) but if you just want to go to other provinces in Czech Republic it'll serve you well. Tram stop is also right across the street both front and back of the hotel. You will have no trouble getting around Prague that;s for sure. If you stay in old town area it could take you quite a while to get to public transportation since there is no metro or tram run through the area. Also, it only takes leisurely ten minutes to walk from the hotel to Old Town Square, and 20 Minutes to Charles Bridge. I would certainly stay here again on my next trip to Prague!

Iron Gate hotel is very centrally located from the Old Town square with a number of little markets and excellent restaurants and bars right around. It's in a very safe location and the staff were very kind and helpful. Room was huge with 2 bathrooms and a little lounge area. Breakfast was the best we have had in a European hotel. So all in all this hotel and staff deserve 5*!!!

What a wonderful hotel. Staff were amazing and helpful. In particular the porter/concierge named Roman! Rooms were on the small side, however this was far outweighed by the clenliness and terrific location. Travelling with young children it is important to us to be in family friendly and safe part of big cities, this was both. Breakfast were excellent! The ONLY negative i could come up with was the sour staff member in the hotel "monaco bar" lounge. Very unfriendly and was an effort for her to get off of youtube to serve you. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and intend to return.

The location is middle of the old town. It is very busy area. But in our room is very very quiet. The Charles bridge is only few min, and to the old town hall is also few min from the hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. Especially, a girl who speaks Japanese was very polite and nice. Although we had trouble with hot water every night, she helped us very quickly. And of course, one of the best thing is it's good value for money! We are very happy that we chose this hotel, and we definitely want to come back to stay, if we visit to Prague again!

Perfect location, Nice rooms. Employees could be more welcoming, no concierge most time of the day at the lobby. Not suitable for a baby stroller to get in and there is no one to help. Breakfast is really 4-star hotel level and even there no one had asked to pay to caffe latte or cappuccino for breakfast. People were coming with their Starbucks breakfast coffee cups for the breakfast :) Great work, Hotel Paris. NO fresh juice as well for the breakfast. Plastic and dirty baby chair (from the 90ties) at the restaurant. Could improve in these small things and it could be perfect, but maybe next time, if there will be one... (I guess not, as there are other nice hotels to explore).

i would have to honestly say that the savic hotel was the highlight of my trip. first: the location: we took the metro from the praha train station and got off only a few blocks away from the hotel. once we checked in (with a complimentary glass of czech rose bubbly - a first!) we walked less than 5 minutes to all old town has to offer: stare mesto, the orloj, karlov most, etc. the room given to us was the attic room - not only was it comfortably heated (it was -18c outside), the room was spacious, beddings were luxuriously simple, everything was tastefully decorated with chandeliers inside the room but still faithful to the 16th century building. had a bath every night too. best part were the l'occitane toiletries and nespresso machine. will definitely come back with my boyfriend next time!

The hotel's location, breakfast and staff service and courtesy was the key highlight. I had a bad experience when the shower holder rod came off and fell on my feet. Was lucky to get away with a minor cut as it could have broken some bones in my foot. The tram / bus stop n front of the hotel is a great bonus and even metro is 3 minutes away. One must buy the 24 hour public transport ticket for just Euro 4.2 which is very cheap and good to go anywhere in Prague. Since the hotel is also within walking distance of the old city (The Powder Tower, The Astronomincal Clock, The Charles Bridge, even the Palace is walkable or take Tram no 5 and then 22 to reach the Palace). The staff are very service oriented and helpful but the hotel falls short of a real 5 star. I would put it at high 4 star. We did not find the food at the Bristro great even though the breakfast spread is amazing.

I found that the Hotel Rott at Praha 1 was much better than I would expected after I found 4 stars in Wien, Austria. Rott has good service and free internet in the public area which is good enough for tourist travelling to use for checking necessary things. The gift voucher for starter at its restaurant outlet is the plus and worth use it. The building has its own history, but the guest room have been renovate to modern comfort. The bathroom floor has heat. The 4 stars hotel has all the details for every tastes.

I chosed this hotel when i booked it coz it looks very spelendid . And after I arrived there, i found that it's very convenient to every sightseeing spot,which i could go by walk . This is what I felt satisfied with it . Hotel room is very nice but still a little bit low of my expectations. I thought it would be larger .And the room is not rectangle size ,which makes the toilet and kichen room look very funny .Especially the toilet makes a little bit depressed . The hotel staff were very very kind to us . We loved them . I can say they are the best hotel staff i have ever met in Europe this time . And people speak very good English ,which makes us very happy to communicate . The last one is that the heating system is not very warm in Prague, sometimes I still wear my jacket in room . Anyhow, hope can go again in Summer time .

Great hotel in not a bad location, lots of restaurants and bars close by and the big shopping centre near was handy if you wanted some retail therapy after a full day of sightseeing! The rooms are spacious and very clean and fresh. The bathrooms are all newly renovated, however, they made the bath tubs too high. It is very difficult for smaller people like myself to get in, there is no where to hold onto as you climb in and out. I have no idea how elderly people cope! The breakfast was very nice and had lots of variety. The staff were excellent, after mistakingly booking a twin room for my husband and I online, the reception staff were more than happy to rearrange rooms the next day to move me to a double bed. My only complaint is that there was only one lift working when we stayed , with 5 floors and a full capacity , it made for long waiting times. Even the staff that cleaned the rooms were complaining. All and all a very enjoyable stay and would be happy to stay again.

We have just returned from a three night stay at The Grand Mark. The hotel was beautiful, the staff were professional and quietly efficient, the breakfast was exceptional and we dined at Le Grille, equally exceptional. The gardens were picturesque, a quiet haven! Our advice, if travelling with an older child, would be to avoid booking the Grand Deluxe Suite - the second bed is merely a fold away one and really only suitable for someone 12 or under. We will definitely return to the Hotel but will book two superior rooms to accomadate our family.

Great hotel in a pretty convenient location, about 5 minutes walk from Charles Bridge. Breakfast was included in the rate and there was good variety and it was available until 12 which was great. The best part was the common areas, there was probably as much floor space in the hotel dedicated to common lounges as to hotel rooms. There are only 8 rooms, so no common area was ever crowded. The staff were great and brought us a bottle of wine at midnight when we returned from dinner one night.

Location a stone throw from the main train station, this designer hotel is very popular. As it was my boyfriend birthday, we received a free upgrade from the standard room. Staff were accommodating in assisting to arrange the pre-ordered flowers and champagne from the florist in my room prior to our check-in (although, a little hiccup - as they mixed up the rooms. but all was solved before we went to our room). Hotel is about 12-15 minutes stroll to the old town area. The money changer right opposite the hotel (at traffic junction) seems to have the best exchange rate (from Euros to Kronas).

City Centre area, very close to old town square, tourist spot (all by walking distance), easy to get food (fast food, Italian, Czech food). Room is very quiet, bed is very comfortable to sleep, every night I notice I just fall asleep an hour, it just like been sleeping for 5-6 hours ... I been staying lots of hotel in different countries ... I would highly recommend that this is one of the best hotel I stay before, others than in Japan. Highly recommend!!!
