"This ryokan was lovely. We were a group of 3 and the room was lovely and big enough for all of us with all mod cons needed. The large bath on the 7th floor was lovely and had an outdoor pool and the private bath we had was sheer luxury! Dinner was great, it was unusually as it was a fusion of Western and Japanese. To be very honest I would have preferred a full Japanese meal but this is purely personal preference rather than anything being wrong and the cake 'biking' was yummy! ( Biking means Viking which means buffet in Japan. Just go with it!) Breakfast was a treat for the eyes and belly and all the staff spoke English and while we were a Japanese speaking party it was great for those whose English was better. Totally recommended! "

"- First, I have to tell that Hotel Sunvalley is a group of 4-5 hotels separately located in Izunagaoka and I choose Fujimi which is the nearest branch from station. Fujimi is mean you can see the view of Fuji - There are available shuttle bus from Izunagaoka station in afternoon and to Izunagaoka+Mishima station in the morning. - I choose Japanese style room. It's very large with window that you can see Fuji view from you room - Onsen is perfect!! Both indoor and outdoor zone is available and staffs swap men and women onsen between morning and evening time which is different in design - 5 minutes walk to nearest bus stop for take to ropeway and just 15 minutes walk to station - Staffs is very helpful. They try to communicate in English but you can use translation application for help "

"The hotel felt really big and comfortable. You can think it was a little old, but the atmosphere was really good and the service was excellent. When I was guided into the room, it was really amazing inside and we were really satisfied. The spa was bigger than I thought, and the water was really good. Breakfast is very delicious and I am really satisfied with their service. "
