Hotels near National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation Miraikan

I booked a standard non smoking room but when i entered the room it was on a smoking floor. I called the reception and within 5 minutes someone came up and upgraded us to a superior non smoking room. Can't say much about the facilities as we arrived late and checked out early but it looked alright with some eating establishments in and around the hotel which is cheaper than the breakfast option. Not much to do at walking distance after 10 pm. Altogether a clean and nice hotel. Mind you that you can get prices under 7000 yen if you don't stay on a Friday or Saturday and national holiday

We stayed at the Grand Pacific Odaiba after few days in Tokyo ( Shinjuku ), a Hokkaido trip and Disney Sea, to get away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo before leaving Japan. This hotel has straight walkway access to the Yurikamome monorail Daiba station which runs 3 stops to Shimbashi station that you can connect to the JR railways and others lines and a few minutes walk to Ginza and Tsukiji area. To travel to Asakusa Temple, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Akihabara just use the JR Yamanote line located at the Shimbashi station. If you want to head to Disneyland from the hotel, the Yurikamome can also be used to connect to the Rinkai line at Tokyo Teleport station and from there you can connect to Maihama station at Shin-kiba station via the Keiyo line. The hotel also has a connecting walkway to Aqua City where there are plenty of restaurants and shops and also the Decks mall which houses the Sega Joypolis. The hotel also has another walkway that leads to the Diver City that has the Gundam museum and plenty of shops and restaurants. There is a free shuttle that goes around Odaiba which you can take to the Palette Town mall and the big ferris wheel. Surrounding the hotel are a few nice parks and very clean and quiet. If you want to get away from the Tokyo crowd but still enjoy walking around, shopping and eating, this is the hotel for you and your family. Checking in and out was very fast and the hotel staff were very friendly and spoke good English. They also have a foreign English speaking staff at the concierce desk that was very helpful to direct us to Kamakura for a day trip. We didn't get a chance to dine at the many hotel restaurants as there were so many nice restaurants at the Aqua city. Be sure you don't miss the sushi restaurant on the 1st floor of Aqua city and the Yakiniku restaurant right across it. It serves one of the best sushi and yakiniku we had on this trip. Both restaurants are near the entrance of Toys R' Us on the 1st floor of Aqua city.

This hotel was a totally pleasant surprise that it exceeded my expectations with much better than average business hotels in Tokyo. My 25 years of business traveling to Japan,this was best stay! Every dollars worth in value including the food quality n choices of breakfast buffet. The room size is bigger than average Tokyo business hotels, and entire setting of hotel is fit to be a good urban resort hotel. My best like of this hotel is the Bath Tub which is larger and better quality compare with most of business hotels in Tokyo. Very well trained staffs will make you feel welcomed, and comfortable till you check out. The restaurant staffs work very efficiently and kind. Food quality n choices were nice. Location is away from the center of Tokyo, but if you are looking for a quiet clean surrounding with plenty of shopping to do, this is the best choice of hotel for you! I will definitely stay again at this hotel.

My stay was quite pleasant. My husband and I chose this hotel specifically because of its shuttle services to and from Disneyland Tokyo. I did not like the fact that they did not offer wifi for free and it had to be paid for. Though it was not expensive to rent their wireless router, the quality of the wifi was still not so great. The hotel offered free internet via LAN cable, but that meant it could only be hooked up to once device. Other than that downside, the hotel was a good spot for a family with young children. They had a 24-hour Watsons in the hotel so it was easy to pick up daily necessities. You could also purchase your Disneyland tickets at the Watsons. The room was comfy, but not so big. It was enough to fit me, my husband, two toddlers and my 13 year old son. They didn't charge me extra for my 13 year old son after I told them I did not need extra amenities to be able to accommodate him, but they were still willing to book a family of five for their shuttle service to and from Disneyland as well as to and from the Narita Airport, which I thought was quite generous of them. It's within a business district but only about a 15-20 minute walk to Odaiba, which had a lot of family friendly spots for us.

We arrived quite late about midnight at the hotel, check in was fast with some brief description on the facilities of the hotel. Separate floors for male and female, those that stay in single dorms will have to place their luggage at ground floor lockers. We booked the double decker twin room thus luggage can be brought into the room. They provide you with a small basket with items like towel, face towel, free size (quite large) japanese style pyjamas, tooth brush and tooth paste. Shared bathroom for female but there are about 8 bathrooms and few separate toilets, each bathroom consist of two sections, one section is dry for you to place your clothes and for changing, second section is wet which is like normal bathroom, good quality body wash, shampoo and conditioner are provided too. Hairdryer is available near the basin. Overall I will recommend for short stay.

Deeply attracted to it as the price point is lower then most of Tokyo hotels for that floor size. Was amazed during actual stay of 9 nights. I miss booked for 8 nights and book for another 1 night, and the hotel accede to my request to have the same room throughout. Surprise came when I saw a message chair in the room. The experience was divine, rubbing your sore muscles after a whole day of traveling. The room might feel cosy due to the massage chair and roomy bathroom. But was able to be comfortable with 2 opened 30" lugguage. No fitness corner/gym. If not will up a star

This is a very nice and modern hotel. We stayed in a 3 single bed bedroom. Very clean. Includes pajamas and slippers to relax which was nice. Has all the toiletries you would need. Has a mini fridge, hot water kettle, tea, tv, mobile traveler guide. The rooms have a shower, but there is also a hotel public bathhouse that you could join in that was nice and clean and relaxing. Only issue is that the hotel is a bit of a walk to get to from the nearest train stations. It's nice that there is a large Aeon across the street though. Otherwise a nice hotel to stay at.
