"The hotel is located 800m away from the historical centre, very near. Also the staff is very kind and the cleanliness of the rooms and halls is amazing. Breakfast is one of the best ones I’ve ever tried in any hotel, everything you want and more. (There is a pianist playing the piano while you’re having breakfast). I was leaving the hotel very early, before breakfast time, and nicely they prepared for me a couple of sandwiches, two pieces of fruit, biscuits and water. I’d recommend this hotel 100%. Great location (shopping mall, Lidl, and historical centre very near), great staff, very comfy beds and pillows.... One contra is the bath. It’s very high from the floor, and it’s difficult to reach it. If you’re a person with difficulties or any bones disease, please ask them first if they have a more accessible room for you. "

"City Centre area, very close to old town square, tourist spot (all by walking distance), easy to get food (fast food, Italian, Czech food). Room is very quiet, bed is very comfortable to sleep, every night I notice I just fall asleep an hour, it just like been sleeping for 5-6 hours ... I been staying lots of hotel in different countries ... I would highly recommend that this is one of the best hotel I stay before, others than in Japan. Highly recommend!!!"

"For a 4 star hotel, I was expecting better communication. Unfortunately, they didn’t inform anywhere that they weren’t serving the afternoon snack (the reason I had booked with them). I can understand the current Covid circumstances but a little more clarity would have been appreciated. The same happened with the breakfast, not much variety was served, which was also due to Covid (not many bookings). Otherwise quite a cosy hotel with spacious rooms. The bed is very comfortable, the bathtub is a bit high though. Overall it’s a nice hotel, just make sure you inform people of anything going on before they book really.."

"The hotel is pretty small one on a small road but was not difficult to find. It's only ten minutes walk from Wenceslas Square and the Museum metro station and only around 20 minutes walk from the central station, Praha hl n. Charles Bridge is 30 minutes away on foot or a few minutes away by tram. Room is pretty small but enough for a good night sleep. Bathroom is also small but very clean. The receptionist is friendly and helpful (and beautiful). We could even buy tram ticket from her. What I like the most about the hotel is the free wifi which perform quite well. The only negative thing about Purpur is that they did not turn on the heating when it was rather cold for us (around 15~16 degree C, I suppose). However, the receptionist did give us a small portable heater which helped. Overall, it is a good value. "

"Everything was great actually. I don't really know what to complain about. I actually don't prefer curtains on the beds, but many probably do. I find it inhibits people from getting to know each other."

"It is literally a new and modern style hotel (inside). But I think that blend well with that old historical building. I love the concept. The receptionist is warm and friendly too. The room has no TV, but I don't think I need that all. The room and toilet are so clean. The location is excellent. You can easily get tramp and train from nearby stations/stops. It is walkable to the National Museum and Wenceslas Square (St. Wenceslas Monument located) If you observe 'halal' diet, there are a kebab and Indian food restaurants within a walking distance. Highly reccomended "
