The hotel location is off the busy streets, quiet and cozy. Distance from the train is not far but can be a bit challenging with many luggages as the walk to hotel included stairs and uphill climb. There is microwave at reception area which is a plus for us to heat food. The room decor is Swiss inspired. Love the ceiling lighting design very beautiful. Sufficiently arr...

Very friendly greeting on arrival by receptionist with a beer/wine/OJ. When I booked I was concerned that the location was a bit far from town but this was definitely not the case. The hotel overlooks the rear of the Zurich Opera House which fronts onto a large open area from which the centre of town extends. Overall Zurich seemed very expensive, however, in compar...

Hotels in Zurich tend to be costly, but my sister and I felt that this was a really good hotel with value for money. It's a quiet and clean neighbourhood, with the lake just a ten minute walk away. Further, the tram stop is just 5 mins away and it's a quick ride to Central area for shopping and food. Hotel staff are also prompt and very helpful!

It’s my first time in Switzerland and with the kindly help from the hotel lady, it make things easier for me. I walked along the lake till the church in the morning and met my friend in the train station. I put my luggage in the hotel until later in the afternoon. All nice feeling about it, I will choose it next time when I visit Zürich.

I have been coming back to this centrally located hotel for 20 years and I very much appreciate the old world charm and total grasp of quality and comfort that the hotel understands. It appears to be under new management since my last visit to Zurich a few years ago now but the hotel was pretty much the same. My only disappointment was the inability to use the roof ter...
