"The room were spacious, neat and clean, the hotel surroundings is very pretty with lots of plants and flowers, which really resembles traditional Balinese village. Food is delicious and not expensive, and I would recommend their Balinese Coffee to anyone visiting the property. But I think my most memorable experience there was the warmth and friendliness of their entire staff. They are really nice, helpful and always make sure that we had an enjoyable stay there"

"We stayed for two nights in Ananta. We really enjoyed our stay there, the host, Mrs. Putu, was very nice and friendly. It was a quite neighborhood and there was only 3 rooms, so there weren't too many guests, which we enjoyed. All rooms are air conditioned and wifi works great. Location wise, it was close to Crystal Bay and relatively close to Angel's Billabong and Kelingking. It was, however, very far from Atuh Beach and other sites on the eastern side of the island, it took us 2 hours by scooter to get to Atuh Beach, but it did not bother us. There was restaurants nearby, some were walking distance. Overall it was a great place to stay, we really enjoyed our stay in Ananta..."

"Wow, I don't know where to start. We stayed at Mahaloka Valley during the pandemic (October 2020) and had the most amazing stay. The bungalows are nicely built, cute and well furnished with good air conditioning, hot water showers and comfortable clean beds. It's a short, 10 minute walk from Chrystal Bay so it's easy if you want to head over there and play on the beach, arrange a snorkeling trip or watch the sunset. It's about half an hour from Kelingking Beach and Broken Beach so staying there also gives you an easy way to plan visits to these amazing Nusa Pendia attractions at times when you can avoid the crowds. They can arrange reasonably priced drivers to organize tours for you as well. Ohh and the pool is AMAZING, like probably the nicest pool I've ever been in. We went swimming every night and enjoyed the warm water, cool air and the stars up above. When we stayed we were the only guests at the resort but the staff kept the restaurant open for us (with a limited menu but that is perfectly reasonable given the circumstances) they would turn on all of the resort lights for us at night and run the pool whenever we were there to make sure that we had a perfect experience. We had the whole place to ourselves and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and taken care of at every turn. We also enjoyed the novelty of the pool breakfast one morning! Mahaloka's location is also great in a place like Bali where often hotels are stacked one upon another. It's at the end of it's own valley just back from a small local village and when you pull in you really feel like you have found your own little slice of paradise away from the crowds. If you are thinking about staying in Nusa Penida I HIGHLY recommend staying at Mahaloka Valley. They are very responsible to whatsapp and took care of arranging all of our ferry tickets for us in advance which was a major blessing and made our entire Nusa Penida experience a breeze."
