Hotels near Keikyu Kamata Train Station

The location of this hotel is excellent - a few minutes walk from JR Kamata Station and about 10 minutes walk from Keikyu Kamata Station. The room is clean and slightly larger than typical Japanese hotel rooms of the same level. The bathroom is fairly big compared with Japanese standards. Staff are very friendly and helpful -- I actually lost my passport during this trip and they tried their best to contact the train stations and police for us. Would recommend this hotel to everyone, and would consider staying at this hotel again when we visit Tokyo.

Red Roof Inn Kamata was located around 5 minutes walking distance from Kamata Station, so it was the perfect place to stay while we explored Tokyo for a week. There are tons of restaurants, a few conbinis, and a couple of supermarkets nearby, so you'll have plenty of options for food. In addition, Red Roof Inn also provides a small selection of breads that serves as a light breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived 2 hours before check-in time, but we were allowed to check-in early. When I asked about nearby ramen restaurants, they already had a map printed out. And when I asked about how to operate the remote control for the airconditioner, the guy drew it out for me in English. The hotel is near a fire station, so we did hear sirens every once in a while, but that was just a minor inconvenience. Overall, we definitely enjoyed our stay at Red Roof Inn Kamata, and we would definitely stay there again the next time we visit Japan.

This is a nice place to stay if you are going to/coming from Tokyo Haneda Airport. It's 5 stops on the Keikyu-Kuko line (Keikyu-Kamata Station) and a ~10 minute walk to the hotel. Going the opposite direction for ~10 minutes, you can reach Kamata Station and get to Tokyo Station for Shinkansen trains (~20 minute ride) The hotel itself is no frills in a good way. You get a small room with a bed that's neither super cozy nor uncomfortable as well as two pillows of different firmness. The bathroom has a heated toilet seat, which was very pleasant. The shower was nice with lots of hot water. As a 6"3' guy the room was big enough to walk around without ducking. Given the no frills approach, the hotel breakfast was surprisingly awesome. There were many options and almost all of them that I tried were yummy to my Western palate. Miso soup, rice, chicken, bread, fish, yogurt, and fruit mix were just some of the options. The one drawback to me is that the hotel is in the middle of a network of alleys that felt a little sketchy, especially at night. I walked around a bit at night to get to the nearby 7-eleven and didn't walk too much more because of this. The greater part of town felt fine, just the area immediately around the hotel. In summary, this is a great hotel for the budget conscious traveler looking for a place to stay near Haneda airport or for a place a bit outside of downtown.

This hotel has quite big room, the room is clean, they offer shuttle bus to haneda but the last time is 9.00 am.. becareful do not get wrong hotel, because they have two hotel which have the same name but different location.. if you go by keikyu line drop off at ootori station not at keikyu kamata station.. overall this hotel nice for your flight schedule in the morning..

I've gone through fairly enough reviews before my decision to stay at Super Hotel Tokyo JR Kamata and am very pleased with my choice. The room was exact to picture, the breakfast was great, the hotel is of walking distance to a handful of 24h convenience stores, Don Quijote (multi level hypermart), and ramen stores (supper places!). The vicinity is never really dead even at midnight. Train station is less than 10mins away. Would definitely recommend if you are traveling via Haneda Airport. Very confident I would return to the hotel again!

Though hotel room is small but is sufficient if you only need a space to sleep. Located in a quite neighbourhood. Only about 100m to train station (Keikyu Kamata) but quite far from city centre, about 6 mins to Shinagawa (200 yen) and 25 mins to Tokyo Stn (370 yen). A tourist information centre with english speaking staff is located within the station. 7 eleven is just opposite to hotel. Other than that, the hotel is fine, microwave and laundry facilities provided on the ground floor.

The hotel route inn at kamata is the best hotel located if you are visitors using the Haneda airport. The Keikyu kamata station (not to be mistaken with the kamata station) has a rapid transit with no stops to Haneda airport. To the city can be done conveniently in the Keikyu line as well, trust the Google map!!! 7-11 and family mart are also across the streets. With a few 24hrs restaurants nearby as well.

The rooms in this hotel are very small, however we used it for the night before our flight due to price, proximity to Haneda airport, and the fact it offered a free shuttle service. The rooms are Western in style, very clean and modern. The bathroom is a decent size and perfectly fit for purpose, and the free amenities were extensive. The beds were clean and comfortable. They also offered an hourly shuttle service from 3am until I think 9am or so, which was really helpful to us. Make sure you book your place as soon as you check in, as the shuttles can fill up fast! The walk from the nearest train station to hotel is about ten minutes, so you may want to get a taxi if you have lots of luggage. All in all, this is a very good hotel at a very reasonable price, and while I think it's too small for a long stay, it's perfect for an airport hotel or short breaks!

The hotel was very near to the train station (Keikyu-kamata), much nearer than stated on map. We could even see it from the train platform when we arrived. It was a quiet and safe neighbourhood as well. The check in and check out process were simple and smooth too. There were a lot of free items available at the lobby such as sponges, razor etc. Rooms were a little small but cosy! Guess it's expected in Japan. It was very clean too. It took us 10 mins tops to get to/from Haneda by train. Other tourist/shopping spots were easily accessible as well as the Shinagawa station (one stop away by limited express from Keikyu-kamata) connects to main lines such as JR Yamanote etc. Can easily get to places on the Asakusa line without having to change train (just need to read the info board before boarding to make sure it's heading in the right direction). Besides that, there were a lot of supermarkets and convenience stores around the neighbourhood which was great as we could cook our own food in the room which saved a lot on our expenses. We washed our clothes every day as well using the washer/dryer and came back with a luggage full of clean clothes. You could purchase a small packet of detergent from the front desk for 30yen.Staff were friendly and nice, speaks adequate English. Thus, no communication issues. Will definitely stay here again if I visit Tokyo in the future! Value for money.

I stayed a night in this hotel before catching an early flight back. The earliest train from Zosiki station ( where it is located ) takes only about 15 minutes to Haneda Airport, which is a much wiser choice than taking a taxi from there. Escalator is in service at both the train station and in the hotel. Rooms are quiet, neat and there is a little television at the bath tub! Just a 5 minute walk from the station, with a fair number of restaurants. There is a key drop box at the reception where you can just drop your room key before leaving in the morning. Nothing in particular that I shall complain. So I believe it is a great choice for people who want to stay a night near Haneda airport.

This hotel isn't look like 3star hotel from outside, but when you already in your room, it is very good. The room is very comfort, you can feel like you already in mini apartment. The location is only 15 minutes from the Kamata station by walking. The environment also good, you can easier find restaurant or mini market. This Hotel also only took 20 minutes to Haneda Airport (cost 2500 Yen). I recommend this Hotel if you had morning flight to go to Haneda Airport.
