-Brand new business hotel (opened on April 2018) -5mins walk distance from Hanzomon subway station which I really liked it. Easy access to all area. There’s 7/11 right next door and Lawson on the next block. -10mins by Taxi from Tokyo station. (¥1,700-1800) But since it’s a brand new small business hotel, taxi driver wouldn’t really aware of the hotel location by themselves, you’d better give the hotel address to the taxi driver so they can find the location on Navi map. -stayed at the standard room, it’s a very small room with semi double bed, but perfect for a solo traveller. -Bathroom and room are very clean and neat in general. Their bathroom amenities were good too. Looks like they replace the amenities everyday such as new towels, new bathrobe...when they clean up the room. also they placed the odor removal spray in every room. - Check-out time was 11am and if you don’t show up for checkout on time, they will call u right away. Late check out available with extra charge until 1pm. ¥1,000 per hour. -The staffs : there’s nothing to say any nice comments for them. I only ran into them for checkin and checkout. It’s not a 5stars hotel but business hotel so I didn’t expect anything outstanding from them. Overall: it’s affordable place with a good location. I would still stay there again for my next visit.

Let me start by saying that I would definitely stay there again if visiting Tokyo. The location is convenient and in close proximity to the Akasaka metro which is very central. This is much better than the Hotel New Otani which is located just on the other side of the river as the rooms are slightly larger, more modern with nice touches of old school Japanese with the sliding rice paper windows. For a MAC user, this is heaven as there is free in-room wifi which is surprisingly rare amongst the mid to low end hotels. The service staff are very helpful and courteous. Overall a great experience and highly recommended.

My stay is excellent thanks to the new and clean centurion hotel grand akasaka. Basically its very easy to find the hotel and the location is excellent. The hotel provide free decent breakfast. Its just around 3mins walk to the train station which have lots of interchange for other places. The restaurant nearby like Zen Watami provided cheap and excellent quality japanese food. The only minus point is that I was told the room size was 20sqm which seems like 16sqm to me. Definitely, I will chose back this hotel for my next tokyo trip.

I would like to review by category for others to consider this hotel. 1. Room - queen bed is cozy for a single person stay, even for non-asian body size, but if 2 person it is just nice for asian-size couple and it will be a little challenging for foreigner with large body. - Room is well-kept and clean, toilet comes with bathtub and water sprinkler level is great. - LCD TV is big enough to be viewed at any angle. - Best thing i like is the toiletries with extra complimentary goods like facial and hand lotion, shaver gel, and etc. - there are 2 USB port for charging devices which helps alot because for traveler who doesn't bring a universal charger and japan-type power port is more than enough (6-7 port) - Toilet seat can be turn on to be warm 2. Location - it is quiet due to far from city centre 3. Lounge - good for hangout, chat session. 4. There is a convenient store at B1 5. The only bad thing I don't like is the Laundry machine, not enough machines.

Omg this hotel is a real find. The rooms are huge and spotless and the staff do their best to help you. It’s also located between two train stations and there’s plenty of food around as well as a lovely shrine. On the amenities, I was super impressed. You get your own washing machine, dryer and laundry powder which is damn handy in the middle of summer. You also receive face masks, cleansing oil, contact lense storage etc and a machine that cools you down when you stand on it. Compared to more expensive upmarket hotels this one just cleans it up. If you have little ones, do yourself a favour and book this place as it will just make your life easier.

Beds and pillows are hard, but it’s the norm for non 5 stars hotel in Japan. All the comfortable beds I slept on in Japan are at 5 stars hotels such as New Otani, Hilton or Peninsula. Another downside, They don’t provide bottle water but you can buy from nearby 7 eleven. Get the big bottle as the big bottle water in japan is priced lower than small bottle . Location is great with 4-8 minutes walk to many train stations

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay of 11 nights at this hotel in late March, early April 2013. Location. It is located in Akasaka, on a hill right behind Hie-Jinja, a major Shinto shrine of Tokyo. One can see the hotel from Sotobori-dori, the main thoroughfare that runs in front of the shrine. But there is no access to the hotel from Sotobori-Dori. By car, one has to drive into a side street then up the hill. On foot, it is best to go up the shrine and follow a hidden footpath to the main hotel entrance. This means that the establishment is pretty much protected from the hubbub of Sotobori-Dori. There is a secluded luxury to such a location. This is very Japanese (or French for that matter.) True luxury is never displayed ostentatiously but kept somewhat hidden. However, seclusion in this case does not mean isolation. Indeed, one simply has to go up to the shrine from the hotel, go down the main staircase to Sotobori-dori, and cross to the other side to find oneself in the action of the back alleys of Akasaka. Shops, restaurants, bars, nightclubs of all stripes. Going up Sotobori-dori, one soon runs into Aoyama-dori, another major thoroughfare lined with all manners of fancy establishments, for example a dealer for McLaren cars! In a nutshell, this location combines the best of both worlds: quiet uncrowdedness but not too far from the ‘action’ should one chooses to partake. This is a rare combination in Tokyo. Places like Shibuya and Shinjuku are quite lively but there, one could never escape from the crush of humanity. Finally, I enjoyed very much going through the shrine everyday as I came and went. Transportation. There is a subway station right below the hotel. One can take the elevator in front of the bell captain’s desk down to the station. Officially it is Tameike-sanno but like most subway stations in Tokyo, it is linked via tunnels to many neighboring stations. In this case, one could walk from Tameike-sanno to Kokkai-gijidomae, and even Nagata-cho and Akasaka

Since my wife is Japanese, we have visited Japan many times over the past few years. Each time, we had been economical and stayed in business hotels. This time, we are travelling with our 13 mo baby (started walking) so a business hotel will not do. I've heard about the grandeur of Hotel New Otani from my parents in decades past so I decided we had to stay there for 3 nights in a standard twin room. Upon checking in, we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to the King Suite, which I estimate is approximately 1200 sqft! We felt like the King, Queen and Prince for the entire length of our stay! The restaurants at the hotel are a little pricey but there are restaurants nearby which provide convenient, cheaper alternatives. The upgrade, of course, has introduced a certain bias in my review. However, given that business hotels charge on a per person basis, even the standard twin room at Hotel New Otani presents more value given that we have a young child travelling with us now. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

I've been to several capsule hotels around Tokyo and Centurion is by far the best. Unlike other capsule hotels catered mainly to Japanese, Centurion has taken into account the needs of the traveler. Like other capsule hotels, you will still need to check out in the morning (11 am at Centurion). You cannot stay inside the hotel after 11 am even if you are staying for several nights. However, you can leave your stuff in your locker for the entire duration of your stay. This is useful if you're tired of having to carry your bag around all day, just leave it inside your locker. Other capsule hotels will require you to empty your locker every day, even if you are staying for several nights. As for the accommodations, the capsule is nicely sized for anyone below 5'9". Anyone bigger that will find it small. The capsule has some small storage compartments for your phones, wallets, etc. It also has a power outlet, USB port, retractable mini-desk (for your laptop), 32" TV, clock with alarm, manual airflow adjustment (to control temperature inside your capsule), several reading lights. They change sheets everyday if you leave your capsule open when you leave the hotel in the morning. They provide complimentary toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers, bathrobe, towel and other basic toiletries. As this is a capsule hotel, bathroom facilities are shared. In a single floor, there are 2 showers, 2 toilets and 3 lavatories/sinks which are shared by more than a dozen capsules in that floor. Never seemed crowded though. This is the only capsule hotel I know of that offers a breakfast buffet. It's quite tasty although the choices are limited. It's your typical Japanese breakfast buffet with a few Western stuff like bread and sausages. The curry and eggs are quite good. During the evening, there are a lot of places to eat at nearby. I'll definitely stay here again if travelling solo.

Booked 2 rooms at the hotel with breakfast. Location was great with restaurants all around and a metro station close by that brings you directly to Ginza or Shibuya. The Narita Limousine Bus stops at a hotel jus 5 mins away for added convenience. Breakfast was good and even dinner at the hotel restaurant was good. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Rooms were typical Tokyo size if booking standard twin or double but we got an amazing rate so nothing to complain about. Overall a great hotel.

Location: - Hotel is located between Metro Akasaka（赤坂） & Nogizaka （乃木坂）Station. A little bit far from Narita airport but a great location for visiting around Tokyo. - Plenty of restaurants, bars and convenient stores around the hotel. Never need to panic about your breakfast and late-night refreshments! Room: - It's my biggest hotel room I have ever stayed in so far. Big bathroom, a separate toilet, comfortable beds and sofa-beds. - Facilities and equipments are still in very new condition. Detailed guidebook about cooking tools is included. Big television and a smartphone is also available. Services: - Tea bags, slippers and toothbrushes need to be collected by yourself on 1/F. -Would be better if the hotel can also provide comb. - Cleaning service and towel renewal is available during my stay. Overall: One of my best experience so far. With the room's environment, I feel like staying at home rather than in a hotel. I would recommend it to families and group stays.

The hotel new Otani has all the top restaurants inside their hotel such as Kyubei, top 3 star Sushi restaurant in Tokyo, Kyubei is as famous as Jiro, so you can tell everyone that you have tried out the best sushi in the world from your Kyubei experience. also other french and japanese restaurants like Nadaman and so on,,, highly recommend to try out their dinning options every day. the hotel has a really nice Japanese traditional garden, their garden view lounge is also wonderful in every seasonal view! the hotel is truely 5 star, but not so expensive for stay, restaurants are maybe more expensive than hotel charge!? but it's really good!

I usually stay at more up market Hotels in Tokyo, especially the New Otani, but times are tough and costs need to be watched. The room was small but functional. Double bed, quite comfortable, desk and fridge. The bathroom was snug but big enough for a good shower, in a bath. Amenities included a robe, toiletries and importantly - FREE high speed internet. The front desk was helpful and there is a cafe attached so breakfast is available basically on site There are no "big hotel" facilities such as a gym, but for the price this was an excellent choice. The area is interesting and studded with bars and restaurants

i booked the room knowing non-smoking was not an option. i'm not a smoker and the room i received was obviously a smoking room. they did a decent job of ventilating the room but the residual tobacco smell was still there the first night. i don't like it but i can tolerate this, considering it's japan and it's the way things are. it fully dissipated after the first night and for the remaining 12 nights there was no hint of tobacco smell i could discern. that is and was the only slightly negative comment i have about the hotel. i probably could have demanded another room but i arrived after midnight due to a late arrival at haneda and i was more interested in sleeping than changing to another room. if you are totally intolerant of smoke then you should make that clear on your reservation. this hotel bridges the gap between business hotel and full-service western style hotel. the rooms and bath are about 30%-50% larger than a typical business hotel but smaller than a typical full-service western style hotel (new otani, hilton, keio plaza, etc.) room. the staff will forward luggage for you to the airport like a full-service hotel but they don't have a front staff that will carry your bags to your room for you as an example of the hybrid service. business hotels will typically not do this for you and all full-service hotels will do this for you. unlike most business hotels this hotel has wedding floors like a full-service hotel. the building is modern but not new. the rooms are quiet, the floors are solid and you cannot hear any footsteps above or in the hallway. many hotels in japan, even higher end ones don't have this level of sound-proofing. the location is on the west side of the imperial palace grounds. hanzomon station is a few minutes walking and kojimachi station is about 10 minutes away. it's not convenient to jr trains so be prepared to make transfers or use a taxi. you should use a web service like hyperdia to plan your rail travel.

I found this hotel by accident on booking.com. I have never had to find and pay my own accommodation before when visiting Yokyo and my budget was tight. This hotel ticked all the boxes and there were just a few rooms available. What I liked about the booking proc se was that you can book and agree to pay by a certain date having given your credit card details. It was still possible to cancel up to the day before arriving. The late check in at 3pm was inconvenient but I noticed when I did arrive they had cases stored in view of Rception and covered in netting, so next time, I may go straight there rather than lug my cases around with me. This time I needed to see people at certain times and it would not have been time or cost effective to go to the hotel first. On my booking it confirmed that I had a smoking room. I didn't want smoking and sent an email. At check-in every effort was made to accommodate me for my 6 night stay.

We stayed at The Prince Gallery for 4 nights and thought it was a great hotel. The rooms are new and modern, and the shower is very nice. We had a view of the city and Mt. Fuji from our room. The staff is very nice and eager to help. We were heading to Osaka next and my husband wanted tickets to an event that was sold out online. The concierge was able to get us the tickets and arranged for us to pick them up when we arrived in Osaka. The hotel felt less westernized than some of the other luxuryI hotels in Tokyo and Osaka, which we liked. One downside is there was only 1 english channel on tv. Not a huge deal since we were out of the room most of the time, but would have been nice to have more options in that respect. overall it was an excellent hotel (especially for the price) and we would definitely stay there again.

I booked two rooms for my friend and myself. The rates are reasonable considering the hotel is in a business district in Tokyo. The subway stations are nearby, and the Imperial Palace Gardens are within walking distance. Restaurants and convenience stores are next to the hotel. The rooms are clean and quiet. English newspapers are provided, and wifi is strong in the lobby area.

For me, as a foreign student in Japan, it is important for me to look for a cheap hotel and near form the conference location. I got many easiness through "Agoda" I could stay in good hotel which have good service, hospitality etc. From its website, we could search the location by easily because they inform so clearly, it is important for the tourist if they come to Japan at the first time. However, I think that room is so small as twin room. At the moment I ordered twin room, I was so surprise because it was so small, also with very narrow bath room. Overall, I satisfied stay at that hotel. Thank you wish next time I can stay there again

It was a great trip for my family. We were a family of 4 adults (2 being my parents in their 60s). We've book 2 rooms with double beds for the entire 7 days with a very good rate found on Agoda, considering the cherry blossoms season with not many hotels left in the market. APA chain of hotels has many hotels in various locations but we choose this as it seems close to the Imperial Palace and several other places that we intend to visit on this side of town. The hotel is well maintained, clean and neat. I'm grateful that the housekeeping cleans and sort out the room mess everyday (as well as the purchases we make as we move along the week) as it's a tight room. Hotel staff are generally helpful and friendly but they speak little English. I end up using sign languages just to get my message across - that's the fun part actually! If you get a room high enough and with the right facing, you may even get to get a glimpse of Tokyo Tower at a distance as the view from the room - Beautiful night view. The surroundings of the hotel are mainly offices. There aren't that many options for food. We've not tried the hotel restaurant as we are mostly out early in the day and back late at night. Our brunches and dinners are usually some place that we want to check out in Tokyo. Although if you really need a coffee fix, there's Chocoro café (they are famous for their chocolate rolls - Must try!!) and (I think) Starbucks around the vicinity. Overall - High ratings for a 3-Stars Hotel.

New hotel with large bathroom; shower & bathtub separate but without partition. Toilet in separate cubicle ( French style) n wash basin outside of toilet with enuf standing room. Room is bigger than usual Tokyo standard. Daily simple breakfast of cereals, coffee n tea at lobby from 7 to 11 am. U can bring back to room to consume. Abundant bottle water (chilled) at lobby level FOC for guests. Cons: most are smoking rooms. So if u are very sensitive to cigarette smell, insist on non smoking at time of booking. Don’t accept smoking rooms being sprayed to minimise odour as curtains absorb all the smell n it is nasty!

We stayed as a couple for 5 days in the LG Styler Double Room. The queen bed was firm but comfortable. Bathroom was tiny as expected but provided all amenities including razors, soaps, Q-tips, etc. The LG styler was an EXCELLENT perk after eating out (especially at yakitori restaurants!). The hotel is located near the Tameiko-Sanno station (exit 10 is the nearest subway exit). It's very quiet at night, but just a street over is the hustle and bustle of restaurants and bars. There were also 24-hour grocery stores and convenient stores nearby. We enjoyed the breakfast provided in the Irish pub downstairs. There was a good selection of food offered, including fresh croissants, breads, eggs benedict, cereals, rice and tsukemono, ochazuke, bacon, sausages, and baked beans. Great stay, would recommend! ----------------- We also highly recommend trying out Tonkatsu Masamune (Michelin recommended) for juicy, high quality tonkatsu. It's only about a 2 minute walk away from the hotel.

The hotel was in a central location to get around for sight seeing. Was able to get to sights by walking and metro within 30-45 minutes. Many places to eat for Yen 1,000/US $10 for a basic meal, larger meals for Yen 1,500 / US $15. Room was very clean, good basic amenities. Room is 6feet wide by 8 feet long. - Small refrigerator - Shampoo/Conditioner/Body Wash - Tooth brush, tooth paste - Slipers, robe - Television w/remote - Desk w/chair - Rods for hanging cloths - Deep tub to kneel in for bathing or shower - Water was very hot quickly for showers - Japanese toilet that washes/air drys your butt - All the lighting control were on the headboard The two pillows were very thin, but functional. I never saw or used these types of pillows before. I booked my room 2 days before my arrival. It was a late booking and I wanted to be close to family staying in a hotel in the same area. My cost was $315 per night for 3 nights

This is the best hotel i ever stay in means of the services that offered by the staffs. Since this is my first visit to Japan, Tokyo, I was quite unsure that I would did allright as people told be that Japan could be difficult as mostly japanese aren't speaking in english and taxi are so expensive that you have to travel mostly by train or subways which directions and istructions are all in japanese. since the first time i step my foot in the hotel, all the staff are so welcoming and thoughful and caring. They seemed to understand that we would need all the help we could possible get and they keep on offering help all the time. And they all so polite and nice. They will make sure and keep ion checking if we are comfortable all the time.For example, as we brought our 3years old twin girls with us, we planned on going to disneyland, then we asked the consierge to give us direction on how to get there, what they did is that they provide us with a printed map and step by step instruction typed nicely on a piece of paper on how to get there, which line of train should we hopped into,where shuld we get of for the next train and how long the walk and whichway to go. Amazingly they do this everytime you asked them direction to go somewhere. Theycan even buy you advance ticket to dysney by charging little extra if you afraid of the ticket to be sold out. They do your postal for you so no need to go to the post office on your own, they called the money changer if you want to exchange money to make sure that they have enough for you to exchange. And so many little things that, enat they offer that make our holiday a pleasent,enjoyable and a delighful one.Mostly the staffs are all speak a fluent english that hardly found in tokyo

I stayed a few nights with a friend and we were very happy with the experience. I arrived late due to some plane issues (closer to 1 AM) but they still had staff available to help check me in and make sure I had everything I needed, and they were just as polite as any time I met them during the day. They room was clean and well-equipped, and the hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the main road with restaurants and a subway station. Would definitely stay here again.
