Hotels near Hang Nadim Airport

Private secure road entrance to a very smart hotel, spacious, quiet. Beautiful manicured gardens and palm trees with coconuts and the odd wild monkey! 4 attractive pools, several restaurants (including an excellent japanese cuisine) and pool side bars. A long jetty with a bar, very romantic! wonderful place for a 'special weekend' a honeymoon or simply some peace with fantastic sunsets. Rooms modern, crisp, white with good room service. Mine had wonderful view over pools and the private beach. I stayed 6 days and loved every moment. If traveling alone suggest you bring own laptop and books. I would return again and can highly recommend. Have toured Batam island and it is by far the best resort!

We visited Batam View Beach resort for a weekend away from our hectic jobs in Singapore. We booked two adjoining superior rooms. From entering to Batam Nongsapura till departing we were taken care by the hotel staff. A steward was waiting at the ferry terminal to guide us in express across the immigration process and in fact we reached the hotel in 15mins from the time of arriving at the terminal. The check in was smooth and the rooms were ready and prepared for our arrival. The resort was a good pool along with a poolside bar. There are also some nice activities which can be done like water sports, badminton and tennis. Cycles are also available for rental. The rooms we stayed in had good pool and beach views. The room was comfortable and the toilets clean and well maintained. There are multiple food options in the resort. The complimentary breakfast is not elaborate but nice and simple indonesian and western food. All the food served at the restaurants both Wang Melati and Kelong Seafood are great. No complaints with especially the seafood restaurant because it was a great sea view. The resort also provides prepaid car rental services with driver to go to the city and return. A very great service considering that Nongasapura is kind of far away from the city Saturday nights seems to be the most happening nights of the week. There is lots of activity at the islander lounge with people dancing and having fun and a live band to accompany with. There are pool tables and dart boards for fun. Outside, there is a pool side BBQ for having a relaxing dinner and enjoying the company of your friends and loved ones. Overall, it was a great weekend away from our busy schedules and would mind returning to the resort once in few months just to calm and relax myself out.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 days, from 28.12.14 to 30.12.14 to celebrate an anniversary. We booked the sea view room. We have been to the sister resort, Turi Beach, in 2012 and knew about Nongsa Point Marina when we explored the paths along the beach. Compared to Turi, NPM is way more relaxed and quiet. Turi seems too 'busy' at times and there's constantly a lot of people which is why we prefer NPM. It felt peaceful and the clear waters at the yacht berthing area was a surprisingly good spot for fishing. You cannot fish at the yacht area of course and we fished more to the right which was very convenient as we were given a sea view room on the ground floor - easy access with a great view ;) The room, toilet were clean and the bed was super comfy. No issues with the room except a busted light at the balcony. Informed the counter and in less than 5-10mins, their technician came over to replace the light bulb. Food wise - it was good but pricey which is expected at Nongsa area. On the saturday night, they had a bbq steamboat buffet but there weren't a lot of people. We may have arrived late for the buffet, at about 8pm, as there were only 3 tables occupied including ours. The other tables soon cleared and we had a 'private dining' in the open space with a sea view under the stars with a live band. Food was good but we weren't big eaters. The staff were generally friendly and helpful. They even gave us a call when we did not turn up for breakfast on day 1 but we were still way too late and did not get breakfast. One of the female staff did offer to give us some bread which was a thoughtful gesture. Felt embarrassed though as we were 30mins late so we politely declined. For us who prefer lesser human traffic, NPM suited us more than Turi. We are already planning our next trip to NPM ;)

I just wanted to drop a review to inform everyone that my stay in Montigo Resort is one of the best birthday staycation ever. I wasn't expecting to be treated like a real boss HAHA! First of all, I would like to thank all the staffs who dropped by at our villa just to sing me a happy birthday song. T'was very flattering. Thank you so much also for the complimentary birthday chocolate cake (it was my FAVORITE!). I was amazed how all the staffs treat every guests very special. Upon arrival from the ferry terminal till reception area and sending to our villa, every single thing is awesome. I travelled a lot and this Batam, Montigo Resort experience is one of the best. I definitely rate the villa with 5 awesome stars. The private pool is perfect. The breakfast buffet spread is fantastic. The view is astonishing and the whole experience is breath-taking. I would like to especially give thanks to Ms. Windi, she assisted us from the very beginning of our stay. She's definitely one of the best asset of the Montigo Resort. I totally salute her. Aside to that, the rest of the staffs always serve every guests with a huge smile. They're all very friendly and polite. Very attentive in all our requests. There's nothing I can ask for more. My whole stay in Montigo Resort, Nongsa is PERFECTION. I would definitely recommend the resort to all of my family, relatives and friends who's going to visit Batam in the near future.
