-Brand new business hotel (opened on April 2018) -5mins walk distance from Hanzomon subway station which I really liked it. Easy access to all area. There’s 7/11 right next door and Lawson on the next block. -10mins by Taxi from Tokyo station. (¥1,700-1800) But since it’s a brand new small business hotel, taxi driver wouldn’t really aware of the hotel location by themselves, you’d better give the hotel address to the taxi driver so they can find the location on Navi map. -stayed at the standard room, it’s a very small room with semi double bed, but perfect for a solo traveller. -Bathroom and room are very clean and neat in general. Their bathroom amenities were good too. Looks like they replace the amenities everyday such as new towels, new bathrobe...when they clean up the room. also they placed the odor removal spray in every room. - Check-out time was 11am and if you don’t show up for checkout on time, they will call u right away. Late check out available with extra charge until 1pm. ¥1,000 per hour. -The staffs : there’s nothing to say any nice comments for them. I only ran into them for checkin and checkout. It’s not a 5stars hotel but business hotel so I didn’t expect anything outstanding from them. Overall: it’s affordable place with a good location. I would still stay there again for my next visit.

We stayed in this hotel from Nov to Dec 2009. The rooms were clean and location was very convenient. The staff knew how to speak English and were very nice and helpful. And just across the street was Tokyo Metro "Akasaka-Mitsuke" Station although only two lines pass through. The metro lines are Ginza Line and Maranouchi Line. The part I loved best about this hotel was that even after midnight the place is alive, illuminated due to winter illumination and there is Mc Donalds accross the street and 7-11 Just on the Ground Floor. This hotel is a 3.5 star to 4-star hotel probably due to its location, but in terms of Room size and Quality, I would say it is comparable to an average 3 star Hotel. There is not much English channels and I did not find a swimming pool. There is a direct stop from Narita Airport Limousine Bus to and from this hotel. There are many shops just across the Hotel and there are many cheap restaurants just behind the subway station. I particularly loved the Vending-Type noodle house behind the subway station. Overall the place is very much lively, well lit and safe for first time travelers and this hotel's services are excellent. They even helped provide an in-tub seat for my grandmother and they took time to put a tub handle to help my Grandmother.

Great location - couple minutes from Akasaka mitsuke station which is connected to a few of the metro lines, including the marinouchi (to Tokyo and Shinjuku stations) and ginza (connected to Shibuya and Ginza stations) lines. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were very clean and well-maintained. The rooms were a little small, although partly due to the king sized bed (which was very comfortable). The only other downside was that we like our room cool, even when the temperature outside is cool too. The air conditioning here though is slightly based on central heating / cooling. If the central control is set to heating, you will not be able to use the cooling settings. We ended up turning off the unit in our room and opening the windows. However, the noise from the street and the smell of food from the restaurants outside made it a bit of a frustrating arrangement. The windows are double glazed and shut out the noise from the street if closed.

I would like to review by category for others to consider this hotel. 1. Room - queen bed is cozy for a single person stay, even for non-asian body size, but if 2 person it is just nice for asian-size couple and it will be a little challenging for foreigner with large body. - Room is well-kept and clean, toilet comes with bathtub and water sprinkler level is great. - LCD TV is big enough to be viewed at any angle. - Best thing i like is the toiletries with extra complimentary goods like facial and hand lotion, shaver gel, and etc. - there are 2 USB port for charging devices which helps alot because for traveler who doesn't bring a universal charger and japan-type power port is more than enough (6-7 port) - Toilet seat can be turn on to be warm 2. Location - it is quiet due to far from city centre 3. Lounge - good for hangout, chat session. 4. There is a convenient store at B1 5. The only bad thing I don't like is the Laundry machine, not enough machines.

The services, kindness, politeness and easy to access... convenience to train station at G05 Ginza line. Arriving from Narita Airport, take limousine bus for $3100 adults and half price for child upto 11 yrs old. Bus will stopped at excel hotel Tokyu plaza. Then walking across the traffic light after the bus stop you will see BIC Camera shop, walk through the building then turn left and walk down the street side for another 7 mins you then arriving centurion classic hotel....for those who booked at centurion resident or grand hotel they are just few more steps around this areas...easy s to find. So much good foods surround...must try the itameme sushi shop and hand made udon at the end of the same street where the hotel located.... Recommended A+++++ Will be back

Facilities in the hotel were great - we stayed 9 nights at this hotel, so the fact that a washing machine in the unit was very helpful. There was no charge - just need to bring your own laundry powder. There was also a stove, but no utensils (though we did not inquire about it). They also provided a router (no charge) so we did not have to worry about wifi. Amenities in the room were of the highest quality. The staff, while they spoke limited English, were extremely helpful and always went out of their way to ensure our comfort and address our needs. Rooms were comfortable - they had air purifiers and deodorizer in the room. There are also plenty of restaurants and grocery shops in the area. Also, easy access to two metro lines within 3 min walk of the hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay of 11 nights at this hotel in late March, early April 2013. Location. It is located in Akasaka, on a hill right behind Hie-Jinja, a major Shinto shrine of Tokyo. One can see the hotel from Sotobori-dori, the main thoroughfare that runs in front of the shrine. But there is no access to the hotel from Sotobori-Dori. By car, one has to drive into a side street then up the hill. On foot, it is best to go up the shrine and follow a hidden footpath to the main hotel entrance. This means that the establishment is pretty much protected from the hubbub of Sotobori-Dori. There is a secluded luxury to such a location. This is very Japanese (or French for that matter.) True luxury is never displayed ostentatiously but kept somewhat hidden. However, seclusion in this case does not mean isolation. Indeed, one simply has to go up to the shrine from the hotel, go down the main staircase to Sotobori-dori, and cross to the other side to find oneself in the action of the back alleys of Akasaka. Shops, restaurants, bars, nightclubs of all stripes. Going up Sotobori-dori, one soon runs into Aoyama-dori, another major thoroughfare lined with all manners of fancy establishments, for example a dealer for McLaren cars! In a nutshell, this location combines the best of both worlds: quiet uncrowdedness but not too far from the ‘action’ should one chooses to partake. This is a rare combination in Tokyo. Places like Shibuya and Shinjuku are quite lively but there, one could never escape from the crush of humanity. Finally, I enjoyed very much going through the shrine everyday as I came and went. Transportation. There is a subway station right below the hotel. One can take the elevator in front of the bell captain’s desk down to the station. Officially it is Tameike-sanno but like most subway stations in Tokyo, it is linked via tunnels to many neighboring stations. In this case, one could walk from Tameike-sanno to Kokkai-gijidomae, and even Nagata-cho and Akasaka

this is probably the best place to stay to wrap up your trip to japan, we booked this room for our last day in japan, it has its own garden and wonderful facilities and the garden is equallty breathtaking at night after illumination. the staff are helpful , and will send your luggage to your room, and also near to train subway to get to another one kiaensei express train to airport, it also have a garden opposite the hotel not far away. a riverway beside, wonderful facilities, big rooms altought slightly older but has its charms , the garden is the highlight. great hotel, very Japanese feel to it,modern but with heritage, good selection of restaurants(Japanese and western)

I've been to several capsule hotels around Tokyo and Centurion is by far the best. Unlike other capsule hotels catered mainly to Japanese, Centurion has taken into account the needs of the traveler. Like other capsule hotels, you will still need to check out in the morning (11 am at Centurion). You cannot stay inside the hotel after 11 am even if you are staying for several nights. However, you can leave your stuff in your locker for the entire duration of your stay. This is useful if you're tired of having to carry your bag around all day, just leave it inside your locker. Other capsule hotels will require you to empty your locker every day, even if you are staying for several nights. As for the accommodations, the capsule is nicely sized for anyone below 5'9". Anyone bigger that will find it small. The capsule has some small storage compartments for your phones, wallets, etc. It also has a power outlet, USB port, retractable mini-desk (for your laptop), 32" TV, clock with alarm, manual airflow adjustment (to control temperature inside your capsule), several reading lights. They change sheets everyday if you leave your capsule open when you leave the hotel in the morning. They provide complimentary toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers, bathrobe, towel and other basic toiletries. As this is a capsule hotel, bathroom facilities are shared. In a single floor, there are 2 showers, 2 toilets and 3 lavatories/sinks which are shared by more than a dozen capsules in that floor. Never seemed crowded though. This is the only capsule hotel I know of that offers a breakfast buffet. It's quite tasty although the choices are limited. It's your typical Japanese breakfast buffet with a few Western stuff like bread and sausages. The curry and eggs are quite good. During the evening, there are a lot of places to eat at nearby. I'll definitely stay here again if travelling solo.

beautiful hotel in a great fun location- just 3 min walk to major subway. Tons of decent places to eat nearby if one doesn't;'t feel like going out afar for meals... there's even a 7-11 across the street which (believe it or not) 7-11 has some of the best coffee in Japan! English-only speaking travelers beware... staff can generally manage the English traveler, but the in-house TV system has no English language channels- no CNN or BBC... oh well.

When I was booking a hotel in Tokyo I wanted to make sure that I was central, and when I was thinking central I meant Shibuya or Shinjuku. Mimaru Akasaka was perfectly placed in a nice area close enough to the metro stations that would take you all over the city. The staff at the hotel really went out of their way to accommodate, were super friendly and just made our stay enjoyable. The room that we were in was for four people (2 single beds, and 2 sofa beds) I stayed on one of the single beds and it was so comfortable. I believe they were memory foam mattresses (don’t quote me! ;)) My friends who stayed on the sofa beds mentioned how comfortable they were too. With everything you need in this apartment/hotel (kitchen etc) it really does make you wonder why you should book anything else especially with the convenience stores nearby where we bought breakfast to cook up in the morning. My only gripe with the room was that it didn’t come with complimentary tea or coffee (I really don’t have anything to complain about) there’s Starbucks and other coffee houses just down the road. Oh, and to top it all off they provide a smartphone with data and calls so you can take it out into the city with you, a lifesaver when trying to navigate metro stations etc Thankyou Mimaru Akasaka, I will definitely be coming back.

The best thing about this place is its location. It's a 2 min walk from the train station which will take you to most of the major places, and if not, there is another line just 5-10 min walk away that will take you to other places too. Within the hotel's location, there are plenty of restaurants and bars, and you'll see a lot of the salarymen and Kyariaūman out socialising in these places after work. There's also a McDonalds not too far away if you've OD'd on japanese food and need that western hit. As for the room, it was quite clean, but the room was quite small. The bed in this room seems like a king size, which means it takes up a lot of room space. The best part about the room for me was the seat bidet in the toilet (and also in a lot of public toilets in tokyo it seems). Front desk staff were also very friendly and helpful, and had no problems communicating in English. Would definitely recommend this place.

We stayed here for our entire trip (18 days) and everyone said we were silly for booking a hotel for our entire trip, how wrong were they. Hanzomon is a safe and quite business district in Tokyo, unlike other districts such as roppongi and Shinjuku which are both 'shady' palaces (good for days visits just wouldn't recommend staying in a hotel there, we met people who were staying there and they didn't enjoy it one bit). The 2 main bad review topics I read about this paces was the rooms and the location. Firstly the rooms are a perfect size for a couple with a comfy bed, ToTo toilet (fancy Japanese toilets), deep bath/shower , TV, Fridge and Free wired internet. Little tip, make sure if you don't want your room cleaned put the do not disturb sign on the door because they will fold all your messy clothes up that are strewed all around the room ;) Embarrassing but lovely. Location Best thing about the Grand Arc is the location! 2 minute walk from hanzomon station (end of hotels street) 1 minute walk from a convenience store (can't remember the name of it but it's literally at the end of your street) Lawsons (another 7-11 like store around the corner of the station, 2 minute walk and you VISA card accepting ATM) Family mart (4 minute walk across from Post office) convenience store inside the station Heaps of restraints within a 5 minute walk (Chinese, Indian, Ramen ect) Although we mostly ate at the connivence stores (really lovely bento boxes SO CHEAP) Alcohol supermarket 3 minute walk (Cheap alcohol) If you need to get money out go to the post office which close around 5pm (ask the front desk for directions, it's very close and easy to get to though) The staff were very helpful, i found the late night staff spoke fluent english were the day staff weren't so fluent but still helpful. I highly recommend this hotel. We are planning to stay again for a month next year, it's our home away from home.

Great hotel! I have used hotels and business hotels in various places in Tokyo for several years, but it is the best hotel with good staff response! After making a reservation, I had a question that I wanted to ask, and I exchanged messages several times, but since then I did a very pleasant response. We arrived earlier than check-in, but had you leave baggage immediately. The first floor is the front. The building was clean and the bathroom on the ground floor, sofa or table in the lobby, shelf of amenities, shelf of the brochure, elevator had a very clean and clean feeling. The room I stayed was very clean. Of course the bed make-up and amenities were complete, and even Panasonic's Steam Nano Care was provided. Hair iron and wrap dryer were also given in the bathroom. It is service more than price. The hotel has free Wi-Fi. There was an air purifier, a pot and a nice mirror with a light for makeup. There was no hotel which only this was fulfilling! It is service and hospitality more than price. A few minutes walk from Tokyo Metro Akasaka Station. If you walk a little, you can go to Akasaka Biz Tower. TBS is also right there. It takes about 12 minutes on foot to Akasakamitsuke Station, about 5 minutes to Akasaka Tameike Tower, and about 15 minutes to Tameike Sanno Station. There are roads that are slightly sloped, but walking is not a pain. Eating and drinking is easy as there are FamilyMart, McDonald's, Matsuya, Maruetsu Petit, TULLYS and Doutor Coffee near the hotel. If you come to Tokyo again, I will definitely stay at this hotel. Thank you for the great service.

My husband and I have certainly stayed in bigger and more expensive suites, but we've never had the level of customer service we enjoyed here. We were showered with polite attention, champagne, a free sake tasting, delicious food up in the club (which was a part of the suite we booked), and polite attentiveness. The room and bathroom were also incredible. We overlooked the location of the original Imperial Palace, and taking a bath with floor to ceiling windows above the 30th floor was a treat. We also enjoyed the restaurant and cocktail bar. It was our last evening in Japan on our honeymoon, so we decided to splash out both on the hotel and on dinner at the contemporary Japanese restaurant. The food was delicious and the presentation innovative and playful. I think the only slight down note was the service in the bar area. The bar itself is stunning -- like the decor all over the hotel. However, it was incredibly busy and we had to ask for assistance twice. Besides that, perfect.

I stayed at the hotel for a night. I would have stayed longer if I found it earlier. The room was pretty nice and spacious! The best part is the city view from the room. It was awesome. The hotel is close to Nagatcho Station and it’s walking distance to Imperial Palace and a few parks. The only thing that I didn’t like and so common in Japan is the check out time of 10 am... way too early! Overall, great experience! I would stay again and would recommend to friends!

This hotel has it all. Yes it a little on the pricey side, but definitely worth it. It is located near most of the Embassies and within walking distance of the Roppongi entertainment district. From the luxurious decor to the vast size of the lobby, this hotel deserves a 5 star rating. The staff literally goes out of their way to ensure you are taken care of and are comfortable. The rooms are cozy and the bed is so comfortable that I fell asleep within 5 minutes of laying down on it. I will definitely stay at the ANA InterContinental Hotel again on my next visit to Tokyo.

It was a great trip for my family. We were a family of 4 adults (2 being my parents in their 60s). We've book 2 rooms with double beds for the entire 7 days with a very good rate found on Agoda, considering the cherry blossoms season with not many hotels left in the market. APA chain of hotels has many hotels in various locations but we choose this as it seems close to the Imperial Palace and several other places that we intend to visit on this side of town. The hotel is well maintained, clean and neat. I'm grateful that the housekeeping cleans and sort out the room mess everyday (as well as the purchases we make as we move along the week) as it's a tight room. Hotel staff are generally helpful and friendly but they speak little English. I end up using sign languages just to get my message across - that's the fun part actually! If you get a room high enough and with the right facing, you may even get to get a glimpse of Tokyo Tower at a distance as the view from the room - Beautiful night view. The surroundings of the hotel are mainly offices. There aren't that many options for food. We've not tried the hotel restaurant as we are mostly out early in the day and back late at night. Our brunches and dinners are usually some place that we want to check out in Tokyo. Although if you really need a coffee fix, there's Chocoro café (they are famous for their chocolate rolls - Must try!!) and (I think) Starbucks around the vicinity. Overall - High ratings for a 3-Stars Hotel.

I'd recommend the b-Akasaka to anyone who wants to be in the midst of it all, but too close that you can't get a good night's sleep. I did have a little trouble finding the place, as the directions are a bit misleading. I should state that if you take exit 3a/3b from Akasaka station, go up the escalator, turn right, up another escalator to the street level and then turn right. Walk up the first street on your right, it will ascend a little, curve around to the left. Follow it until it comes to a T and the hotel is right there. The coffee and internet were a godsend. It's real coffee, so it hits the spot nicely after a hard night of drinking. The shower is one of those see-through ones, which I find sexy, though you may want to finish your major business before you invite guests. Unfortunately, for the international traveler who wants to chill in the room, CNN (the only English channel) is almost completely dubbed into Japanese. They do have a LAN cable, but I didn't have my computer to try it out. The staff were friendly and helpful, answering all the questions about travel and money changers. All in all a comfortable stay.

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous for being a small hotel with small rooms. I love the modern design of the bathrooms with fixtures that you would find in a nice high end hotel and the bed is so comfortable. The staff is friendly and speak English well. There is a constant supply of bottled water and high quality loose-leaf teas in the lobby. There is a complimentary breakfast in the mornings which is a buffet of breads, cereals, soups and coffee/juices. It is very basic, but a nice option to have. Otherwise there are plenty of restaurants right at the doorstep. Excellent sushi or noodle restaurants. There is also an oyster bar, wine bar, pizza place and two 24 hr convenience stores. The road just outside the hotel doors is very small with little cars but enough people, even at late hours, to feel safe. In fact, there is a very happy vibe on this street. You can take a limousine bus from the airport to the Excel Hotel about a 5 minute walk away. The subway is a 1-2min walk away. My only complaint would be that on sunny days, it seems that the bathroom towels are air-dried and sometimes they have a slight smell to them that is not as fresh as if they were placed in a dryer. Overall I highly recommend this hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The hotel is spotlessly clean, the rooms are quiet, the internet is good, and the staff is very friendly. The hotel is located a few minutes from the Ginza subway line, which gives you easy access to most of the major lines in Tokyo. Breakfast is also pretty good, with mostly Japanese choices but also good strong coffee and some western options. Rooms are small, but that's Japan for you. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is small for couple specially if you have luggages. Location is excellent, as soon as you walk out of the hotel restaurants are everywhere and close pretty late. Close to an ATM that accept foreign bank which is super convenient. The hotel is about 30mins walk from US Embassy. I would like to come back just for the location but will find a bigger hotel next time.

There are too many positives to fit into 1000 characters. I booked a night at the Executive Zen for my wife's 30th birthday and from the moment we walked through the door we were treated like royalty. The staff were helpful and informative, the room had everything and more and came with stunning views of Mt Fuji and Tokyo Tower. The hotel staff contacted me before our staff and booked a table in the Sky Bar (which is a must) for pre-dinner drinks and the Tower Buffet for dinner. The only con to our stay, the food at the Tower Buffet did not reflect the price we paid for the food. The views were excellent from the 40th floor but it was a shame the food did not match it. However, that's not to say the food wasn't good, it just wasn't value for money. All in all we recommend this hotel, 10/10, and well worth the visit even if it for only one night.

This is the best hotel i ever stay in means of the services that offered by the staffs. Since this is my first visit to Japan, Tokyo, I was quite unsure that I would did allright as people told be that Japan could be difficult as mostly japanese aren't speaking in english and taxi are so expensive that you have to travel mostly by train or subways which directions and istructions are all in japanese. since the first time i step my foot in the hotel, all the staff are so welcoming and thoughful and caring. They seemed to understand that we would need all the help we could possible get and they keep on offering help all the time. And they all so polite and nice. They will make sure and keep ion checking if we are comfortable all the time.For example, as we brought our 3years old twin girls with us, we planned on going to disneyland, then we asked the consierge to give us direction on how to get there, what they did is that they provide us with a printed map and step by step instruction typed nicely on a piece of paper on how to get there, which line of train should we hopped into,where shuld we get of for the next train and how long the walk and whichway to go. Amazingly they do this everytime you asked them direction to go somewhere. Theycan even buy you advance ticket to dysney by charging little extra if you afraid of the ticket to be sold out. They do your postal for you so no need to go to the post office on your own, they called the money changer if you want to exchange money to make sure that they have enough for you to exchange. And so many little things that, enat they offer that make our holiday a pleasent,enjoyable and a delighful one.Mostly the staffs are all speak a fluent english that hardly found in tokyo
