Hotels near Akasaka-mitsuke Subway Station

Akasaka-Mitsuke subway station is just opposite the hotel by crossing a zebra crossing, next to BIC electronic store. The two lines are Ginza (yellow) and Mararouchi (red) lines that takes you to most of the city centre like Shinjuku, Harajuku and Shibuya all in less than 10 mins. It's also easy to get to JR line if you wish to go out of Tokyo. Super convenient for its location. Also, the airport limousine bus comes to this hotel and depart from here to both Narita and Haneda airports too. Plenty of restaurants serving great food from low to mid budgets just opposite the hotel, just behind MacDonalds is a few alleys with good restaurants serving teppan, yakitori, noodles, etc and a few convenient stores too. The concierge staff are super helpful in giving directions and their service in keeping our bags (for 4 days when we left for Osaka) and ensuring we have them in time for the airport limousine bus when we return is perfect. The room is of good standard for 2, even for 2 large suitcases! There is a convenient store just on the ground floor of hotel too! I will definitely come back again!

We chose Mystays Akasaka primarily for its value and location. We got a great price for our stay and relatively high quality room. The bathroom was well equipped, and the room while small, was cosy and had all modern furnishings. The queen size bed was a little uncomfortable typical hard mattress on a western bed, and hard as nails memory foam pillows. To be honest for the price we were quite happy with the room otherwise. The 7-11 downstairs is awesomely convenient and Akasaka subway Station is a 5 minute walk away, with Tameike-Sanno about 12 minute walk away, well positioned to get to most places in Tokyo.

This was my second experience to stay in a capsule or hostel type of accommodation for my solo trip. I have a good experienced for my first hostel stay in Hong Kong and this was my second time to experience which is Centurion Hotel Residential Cabin Tower in Tokyo. My first impression when i reach the hostel entrance was WOW, its so grand and nice! Security was tight even though you're staying just a hostel where you need to scan your card to access to your hostel floor and re-scan again before you enter your hostel. Hostel facilities are so completed such as WiFi, large flat TV available in your capsule, locker and toilet amenities are so complete. Walking distance to Akasaka Mitsuke subway station for about 5 minutes and hostel surrounded with convenient stalls and restaurants. I had a good stay and it is really comfortable like a home for my 4 days stay. I would highly recommend to give a try on this if you're a solo traveler. I will be definitely going back here for my stay when i back to Tokyo!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay of 11 nights at this hotel in late March, early April 2013. Location. It is located in Akasaka, on a hill right behind Hie-Jinja, a major Shinto shrine of Tokyo. One can see the hotel from Sotobori-dori, the main thoroughfare that runs in front of the shrine. But there is no access to the hotel from Sotobori-Dori. By car, one has to drive into a side street then up the hill. On foot, it is best to go up the shrine and follow a hidden footpath to the main hotel entrance. This means that the establishment is pretty much protected from the hubbub of Sotobori-Dori. There is a secluded luxury to such a location. This is very Japanese (or French for that matter.) True luxury is never displayed ostentatiously but kept somewhat hidden. However, seclusion in this case does not mean isolation. Indeed, one simply has to go up to the shrine from the hotel, go down the main staircase to Sotobori-dori, and cross to the other side to find oneself in the action of the back alleys of Akasaka. Shops, restaurants, bars, nightclubs of all stripes. Going up Sotobori-dori, one soon runs into Aoyama-dori, another major thoroughfare lined with all manners of fancy establishments, for example a dealer for McLaren cars! In a nutshell, this location combines the best of both worlds: quiet uncrowdedness but not too far from the ‘action’ should one chooses to partake. This is a rare combination in Tokyo. Places like Shibuya and Shinjuku are quite lively but there, one could never escape from the crush of humanity. Finally, I enjoyed very much going through the shrine everyday as I came and went. Transportation. There is a subway station right below the hotel. One can take the elevator in front of the bell captain’s desk down to the station. Officially it is Tameike-sanno but like most subway stations in Tokyo, it is linked via tunnels to many neighboring stations. In this case, one could walk from Tameike-sanno to Kokkai-gijidomae, and even Nagata-cho and Akasaka

Got a really great room on the 32nd floor with a fantastic view of Shibuya and Shinjuku. What I really loved was the location - its really close to the Tokyo Metro Akasaka Mitsuke station and gets you connected with multiple JR and Metro lines. Good selection of restaurants and a nice garden. The Main tower has been around since the mid 1960s and though it has been clearly updated, you can still get an old school feel to it. Asides from being close to the tube and train, its close to restaurants and 24 hour convenience stores aplenty in the Akasaka area. If you wish, take a walk down Aoyama dori and you'll soon hit Roppongi and Omote Sando. Brilliant. Room was spacious, bed was comfortable. The bathroom was super clean as you'd expect of a Japanese hotel and everything worked. I enjoyed my stay.

no free Yutaka, not a big issue though and WiFi not the strongest but usable. Staff politeness, cleanliness, location, value is all top class. Near to Akaska station (Chiyoda Line) and Akasaka Mitsuke Station (Marunouchi, Namboku, Hanzomon & Ginza lines). Everyday you get a new towel, which is very good (I didn't get that in other country). The entire street is filled with restaurants, pubs and bars, perfect for a night out

For less than USD 100, the value of this hotel is beyond that. Although it is quite difficult to find this hotel at the beginning, the location is actually within walking distance to AKASAKA-MITSUKE subway station. Love the design and ambiance of this hotel. It was surrounded by lots of restaurants, bars, and minimarkets. The Hotel also serve a very delicious ala carte breakfast and the Waiter was very friendly and gave a good recommendation of ramen restaurant nearby ! Will surely come back again!

When I was booking a hotel in Tokyo I wanted to make sure that I was central, and when I was thinking central I meant Shibuya or Shinjuku. Mimaru Akasaka was perfectly placed in a nice area close enough to the metro stations that would take you all over the city. The staff at the hotel really went out of their way to accommodate, were super friendly and just made our stay enjoyable. The room that we were in was for four people (2 single beds, and 2 sofa beds) I stayed on one of the single beds and it was so comfortable. I believe they were memory foam mattresses (don’t quote me! ;)) My friends who stayed on the sofa beds mentioned how comfortable they were too. With everything you need in this apartment/hotel (kitchen etc) it really does make you wonder why you should book anything else especially with the convenience stores nearby where we bought breakfast to cook up in the morning. My only gripe with the room was that it didn’t come with complimentary tea or coffee (I really don’t have anything to complain about) there’s Starbucks and other coffee houses just down the road. Oh, and to top it all off they provide a smartphone with data and calls so you can take it out into the city with you, a lifesaver when trying to navigate metro stations etc Thankyou Mimaru Akasaka, I will definitely be coming back.

Many good hotels have a unique facility that stands out, but few have all these unique facilities coming together under one hotel! This hotel has its own shopping centre with a wide variety of shops & restaurants (about 200 in all, I was told!), a beautiful 400-year-old Japanese Garden, a sprawling Rose Garden, etc. I stayed at the Garden Tower and had a room with a beautiful view of the Japanese Garden and the city! The rooms were spacious by Tokyo standards, very clean and well maintained. The staff were fantastic - and all those I spoke to could understand and speak good English, and they were all friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, just a short 5 min walk from the Akasaka-Mitsuke subway station. The station is also an interchange for several key lines that connect to practically all parts of Tokyo - you won't need a taxi at all (unless you have some difficulties with walking, of course).

this hotel, despite being a japan-wide chain, is hidden in a backstreet near akasaka-mitsuke station. however there are maps around to help you locate it. the staff in this hotel are very friendly and welcoming, and will try to help you as best they can (some speak limited english). the hotel is located in what appears to be the restaurant district of tokyo, with almost every building containing at least one restaurant. however most are korean or chinese, so be careful if you want an authentic japanese meal. however surrounding the hotel are plenty of convenience stores to pick up a quick snack, and there's a cheap and cheerful drugstore next door that will provide anything you may need. not that you will, as the hotel provides all the usual amenities for japan - hairbrushes, toothbrushes, razors and even facecloths! this was a great base for our week-long stay in tokyo, with two train stations close by.

Just do it. Treat yourself to the Prince Gallery. The rooms, the service, the club lounge, the restaurants... all amazing. The only potential drawback could be the location, but that's ONLY if you're wanting to stay in a nightlife-centric neighborhood like Shinjuku. But it's extremely close to 2 train stations and still a great, safe neighborhood overall, fitting for a 5-star hotel.

Firstly great location as it is very close to Nagatacho Stn which serves the Namboku, Hanzomon, Yurakucho lines and Akasaka-Mitsuke Stn which serves the Ginza and Marunouchi lines. These stations will get you very quickly to all the major spots of Tokyo, shopping or tourist attractions. The hotel itself was very nice for the 2 nights i stayed with great views as my room was on the 20th floor. Friendly staff, wifi, clean room and bathroom, thats all i wanted. Cannot comment on restaurants as i didnt use any of those facilities. Will definately keep this hotel on my list for a future visit

I've stayed at many hotels around Tokyo and several in the Akasaka area. I picked this one because I wanted to stay in Akasaka, but wanted to save money--and they had a good rate for multiple nights. I regret not spending a little extra for a nicer place. The room was a little too small, even by Tokyo standards. They provided exactly one bottle of water per day and you had to carry soap upstairs from the front desk, since it wasn't in the room, which seemed a little strange. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, with only a very light blanket. The front desk also insisted on keeping my key every time I went out, and then made me wait in line to get it when I came back. The wallpaper was peeling, and what's worse, it seemed like the whole place was under construction--there was noise every day for hours, starting at 9am, even on Sunday! The walls were paper-thin so there was no way to escape the noise. I had to listen to the cleaning staff chatting in the hallway all day too. At least Akasaka is a great neighborhood. This hotel is slightly less convenient to the shops and restaurants/bars of Akasaka Mitsuke than hotels closer to the Akasaka and Akasaka Mitsuke subway stations, but it's close to the upscale, brand new Akasaka Sacasu shopping area, and it's a short walk to Roppongi. There are plenty of great ramen, Chinese, Korean, and sushi restaurants all around the Akasaka area.

The ANA Intercontinental is really a tale of two stories. The Pros. The location is unbeatable within 10 min walk to 4 subway stations with access to many different lines to get around the city. It is conveniently located to bustling restaurant / nightlife hubs of Roppongi and Akasaka. Also it is connected to a commercial complex called Ark Hills which has about 10-15 restaurant options. The food we experienced was limited to the breakfast buffet and a Japanese breakfast but we thought both were high quality. The facilities are great, including a nice gym which is also well appointed, a few shops within the hotel (eg pastry shop and a cigar store), and a nice bar on the top floor. Lastly, the price was fantastic for the Christmas period. Frankly it was the best 4.5 Star hotel we could find for the price. The cons boil down to 2 things: the room quality (presumably only non-club floors?) is really not great; more similar to a 3.5 Star. Also front desk staff was slow.

Our room was small as expected in Tokyo but well organized and aesthetically pleasing. Hotel was clean and staff very friendly. There is 24hr free coffee downstairs and bottles water (though it's fine to drink off the tap in Tokyo as well, sometimes there is a chlorine taste to the tap water) . It is next to 3 subway stations very close by and easy connections to all the main areas of Tokyo as well as shinkansen and other inter City trains. The area (Akasaka) is a very nice place to walk around and is full of nice restuarants, izilayas and clubs. Hei shrine is 2 mins away and provision stores conveniently located

I thought the hotel room was small and me and my girlfriend both bought huge luggage with us which didn't help, but after squeezing them under the bed it wasn't too bad. The whole room was clean and the bathroom although small was modern and though out well (just remember to make sure the switch for the water tap isn't turned to shower head when using basin 😂 got soaked a few times because girlfriend never turned it back) Staff were friendly and you just have to remember english isn't their first language but are able to understand most things. It is situated in a great place with many great little restaurants and right next to the Hanzomon subway station and only 3-4 stops away from Shibuya. Would 100% stay again ☺

the b akasaka provides an adequate tokyo stay at a moderate price. of course there is no wifi available in the rooms, only the lobby, standard for these hotels. not standard was that they do not provide complementary bottled water, however there is a lobby vending machine that obliges you. the location is good, not great, with the closet metro station being akasaka, and a 5-7 minute walk including a long stair case. akasaka mitsuke is also about 12-15 minutes away, depending on your pace. the stay was satisfactory.

A nicely designed boutique hotel. Rooms are on the small side, but that's expected for Tokyo. Although the rooms are small, it has everything you need in them! The location is also a plus - a mere 2 min walk from the akasaka-mitsuke station (a connecting station to most major lines in Tokyo). The hotel is also very quiet at night which was nice as it's not located on the Main Street but a smaller street behind. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay. Would definitely stay here if I visit Tokyo again!.

There are too many positives to fit into 1000 characters. I booked a night at the Executive Zen for my wife's 30th birthday and from the moment we walked through the door we were treated like royalty. The staff were helpful and informative, the room had everything and more and came with stunning views of Mt Fuji and Tokyo Tower. The hotel staff contacted me before our staff and booked a table in the Sky Bar (which is a must) for pre-dinner drinks and the Tower Buffet for dinner. The only con to our stay, the food at the Tower Buffet did not reflect the price we paid for the food. The views were excellent from the 40th floor but it was a shame the food did not match it. However, that's not to say the food wasn't good, it just wasn't value for money. All in all we recommend this hotel, 10/10, and well worth the visit even if it for only one night.

This is the best hotel i ever stay in means of the services that offered by the staffs. Since this is my first visit to Japan, Tokyo, I was quite unsure that I would did allright as people told be that Japan could be difficult as mostly japanese aren't speaking in english and taxi are so expensive that you have to travel mostly by train or subways which directions and istructions are all in japanese. since the first time i step my foot in the hotel, all the staff are so welcoming and thoughful and caring. They seemed to understand that we would need all the help we could possible get and they keep on offering help all the time. And they all so polite and nice. They will make sure and keep ion checking if we are comfortable all the time.For example, as we brought our 3years old twin girls with us, we planned on going to disneyland, then we asked the consierge to give us direction on how to get there, what they did is that they provide us with a printed map and step by step instruction typed nicely on a piece of paper on how to get there, which line of train should we hopped into,where shuld we get of for the next train and how long the walk and whichway to go. Amazingly they do this everytime you asked them direction to go somewhere. Theycan even buy you advance ticket to dysney by charging little extra if you afraid of the ticket to be sold out. They do your postal for you so no need to go to the post office on your own, they called the money changer if you want to exchange money to make sure that they have enough for you to exchange. And so many little things that, enat they offer that make our holiday a pleasent,enjoyable and a delighful one.Mostly the staffs are all speak a fluent english that hardly found in tokyo

I stayed a few nights with a friend and we were very happy with the experience. I arrived late due to some plane issues (closer to 1 AM) but they still had staff available to help check me in and make sure I had everything I needed, and they were just as polite as any time I met them during the day. They room was clean and well-equipped, and the hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the main road with restaurants and a subway station. Would definitely stay here again.
