Recommended this hotel, only 6 minutes walk from Kinshicho Station, very convenient, but the location is in a narrow alley, not on the main street. The surrounding ARCAKIT, OIOI, PARCO shopping malls are also within 5-10 minutes' walk. I booked the xxx room, which has xx square meters. This type of room has a table and enough space at the entrance to place 2 opened large suitcases on the floor. The toilet and bathroom are spacious, with a separate shower room and plenty of space for placing things on the washbasin. The room is clean, the single bed is 2.5 feet, the pillow is relatively soft, and there are slippers in the room. The bathroom water pressure is sufficient. The hotel lobby provides complimentary toothbrushes, toothpaste, and toiletries. There is free coffee and 3 to 4 types of bread for breakfast. The staff is polite.

The hotel is conveniently located near Kinshicho Station and has a nice exterior. The inside of the hotel is also clean. The bed was comfortable and I was able to sleep soundly. They also had a good selection of rental items. The staff were kind and polite. The location was great for sightseeing, so I would like to use this hotel again when I visit Tokyo.

Personally, I think this hotel has excellent cost performance. It's located about a 5-minute walk from the nearest station, "Kinshicho," but it's a little tucked away, so it's relatively quiet. The entire hotel is clean, and the cleaning staff and front desk staff always greet you with a pleasant attitude. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel Tabard is a new hotel located 5-7 minute walk from JR Kinshicho station. I say 5-7 min because you need to cross two major streets. Aside from that, the hotel is located near a major hospital. There are plenty of restaurants nearby but it is not loud and busy like the streets right next to the train station. All 3 major convenience stores are within 2 minutes with Lawson being the closest and most obvious, but 7 Eleven and Family Mart are one street away. One thing to note is that there are a lot of short stay hotels nearby. The building is new. It is ten stories but only five rooms per floor. You can definitely hear noises in the hallway but the rooms seemed better sound insulated than most hotels. I know I had neighbors but did not hear any of them. The first floor is the front desk and a lounge. The check in procedure was smooth. The staff is friendly and highly competent. I think they all spoke some English. In the morning, 06:00 - 10:00, they serve bread rolls and soup in the lounge. Since I stayed a week, I tried them all, raisin, walnut, butter roll, mini croissant, sesame, and melon-pan. They have a coffee machine so that was great. At night you can get beer at the lounge but I never did. My room felt a little more spacious than other Japanese hotels. I had a single room but the bed was a double. There is a little desk but the distance between the bed and desk seemed greater than normal. I could do my morning stretches in that space. The bed is high so you can store a closed 26 inch suitcase beneath the bed. A 28 inch suitcase will not fit closed but will fit opened up. The bathroom is where this room differs from most others. It opens with a sliding door and has so much more space than a regular business hotel. I could wipe off without hitting the walls. The room only has a shower but I've never used a bath in these hotels so no loss there. Also, the shower stall is bigger and has a rain shower head in the ceiling. I was dubious but I ended up loving it. The sink was big, the faucet had a single handle (which I prefer), but the mirror was not heated so it will fog over. Just use the provided blow dryer, no problem. I should mention the outlet was three pronged so US based electrical cords can plug in without an adapter. Being a modern Japanese toilet, it came with a bidet function. Loved it. Other things in the room, a TV over the desk area. A small window overlooking the street with a good blind. A hanging closet area and room safe (did not use). Mini fridge worked fine and I stored extra drinks and snacks I bought from the convenience stores for later consumption. All the room lights can be controlled from the switches at the bed headboard. Another thing to mention is the Eco options for the room. If you don’t need cleaning everyday, you can put out a magnetic card on the door. The hotel will give you a coupon and you can exchange it at the front desk for a can of coca-cola, orange juice, water, or a bottle of tea. You will also get a coupon if you want cleaning but don’t feel the need to change the bed sheets. They will change out the towels when they enter your room. The cleaning was impeccable. I feel like I got a great value for my week stay with the Agoda discount pricing. When I’m in Kinshicho again, I would definitely consider Hotel Tabard Tokyo again.

We stayed at this hotel in Tokyo for 7 nights, and it was an incredible experience at a very reasonable price. The location is extremely convenient, being less than a 10-minute walk to the nearest train station, with a bus stop right on the main road outside the hotel. The staff were consistently pleasant and accommodating, adding to the overall positive experience. The hotel provides a light breakfast every morning, including soup and buns, which was a thoughtful touch. Additionally, the availability of a washing machine and dryer in the common area was very handy for longer stays. Although the rooms are small, they were perfectly sufficient for our needs, serving as a comfortable place to rest and shower after a day of exploring. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for its convenience, affordability, and excellent service. We truly enjoyed our stay!
