Good location, close to JR and bus station to Kawaguchiko, about 350 meters away. There is also a Toei train station next to the hotel. The room is clean and standard size, with toiletries, coffee, and freebies on the lower floor. Very nice. Across the hotel, there is a Family Mart and a coffee shop that serves breakfast sets. Very convenient. Would love to stay here again.
Convenient Location”
The location of this hotel was absolutely ideal! Shinjuku Station was just a 10-minute walk away, and we had easy access to the Oedo, Shinjuku, and Keio New Lines right beside the hotel. This made traveling around Tokyo incredibly convenient. As a bonus, the hotel was a stop for the Airport Limousine Bus, which made getting to and from Haneda Airport a breeze. We also found that Yoyogi Station was easily walkable, and we loved being able to stroll over to Yoyogi Park in just 15 minutes. There were also plenty of places to eat nearby, and we appreciated having three convenience stores within easy reach (Family Mart was the closest). Beyond the fantastic location, we were really impressed with the amenities provided. The hotel offered a great selection of toiletries in the lobby, including cleansing oil, hair wax, toothbrushes, and cotton pads. To top it off, they also provided Fabric Freshener, keeping our downs and coats smelling fresh throughout our trips – a really nice touch! We also loved that the hotel uses purified water, so we could drink straight from the tap. Our only minor feedback was that the rooms were a bit small, which made it a little tricky to maneuver with our luggage open. But this is easily solved by keeping our luggage closed when not in use. We were happy to see that the hotel has a strong environmental focus. They had a recycling bin for unwanted clothes and plenty of washing machines (two on each of the designated laundry floors), which made it easy to keep our clothes clean throughout our stay. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend it, especially for those who prioritize convenience and sustainability.

10 Days Stay at Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku was a great experience. Here are some of my favourite things about the hotel... 1) Take the Airport Limousine Bus and ride directly to the hotel. No need to worry about big and heavy luggage. 2) Room was clean, spick and span. Standard Twin Room was bigger than the one I had stayed before. Right size for two persons 3) Short walk to Shinjuku station, great access to the transport system (all the metro/subway lines) including buses (Bus terminal is located next to Southern Terrace, Shinjuku station south exit) 4) Staff was polite, always ready to help, and had no issues communicating in English. 5) Fuss free checking in and out using the self check in system. 6) Lots of good eating places, cafes, combini (mini-mart) around the area. 7) Right in the centre of the city. Able to travel to main tourist attractions easily. You can even walk to Meiji Jingu, Harajuku, and Omotesando if you are up for it. 8) Drinking water straight from the tap. Overall, it was a great stay at Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku. Highly recommend for couples, families with young children or older folks. It is a friendly hotel that provide you the needs and convenience when you are staying in Tokyo.

Hotel is very clean. Facilities are comfortable and adequate. Rooms are small, like all Tokyo hotels but big enough to actually open two large suitcases next to the bed. By Tokyo standards, that's spacious. Beds and pillows are comfortable enough. Rooms and hallways are heated to a comfortable temperature in the winter. Lots of spacious elevators for luggage and big groups. Location is at the edge of Shinjuku away from the large crowds. To get to the main area you will have to walk about 8 min. There is access to JR lines right outside. Lots of restaurants and cafes close by. Great place for a family group.
