Booked day before arrival. On arrival learned only reserved for a single person so was charged an additional $13 US for my wife. Pool was cold and full of leaves. Told breakfast available at 6am when we booked our airport shuttle the evening before for 7am. Breakfast isn’t available until 7am. Is clean but definitely not worth the cost

Nice people work at and run this hotel, at least the ones we met. Very spartan room, does the trick if you need a place near the airport. Was ablet o get a minivan to pick us up at Mango on their scheduled route while heading for the coast the next day so that was convenient.

FIRST time staying at Hotel Mango. Chose it because of close proximity to SJO Airport as my sister had an early morning flight the next day. We had stayed up the street at the Holiday Inn Express upon arrival to San Jose and liked the location but decided to find something more affordable. Hotel Mango is a smaller, gated property. Much more quaint and Tico style than the American chain two blocks away. The woman at front desk was very pleasant and helpful. The common areas and our room were clean and comfortable. Will recommend Hotel Mango.
