This hotel was perfectly located in vicinity of the San Jose cultural plaza. You are only a few meters from the National Theater (take the tour!), numerous museums & parks and lots of shopping areas. The staff at this hotel were amazing. Special thanks to Gabriella (reception) who was beyond helpful with local area spots & recommendations as well as making sure we had an umbrella in case it rained! Her attention to detail was flawless. The breakfast & pastries at the cafe were excellent as well.

A jewel in the middle of downtown San José. ”

My first room was small with no windows. On the fifth floor. I requested a room with a window and they cheerfully accommodated me for a few dollars more. The breakfast is made to order with a few choices. The food and service were great value. The managers at the front desk were wonderful and went out of their way to make my stay memorable. I will definitely return to this hotel.

Great Hotel”

This is located in the middle of the city center and within walking distance to the bus terminal from San Jose to airport (10-15 min walk & less than an 1 hr to the airport); Bus terminal 7-10 to Monteverde & Jaco beach (10-15 min walk to terminal); Mepe bus terminal to Puerto Viejo (15-20 min walk); Transcopa Terminal to Manuel Antonio (15-20 min walk to terminal). It’s a modern hotel, 10/10.

Good value”

This place is a great value. The rooms are very small, but that was fine becasue I had a solo room. My two friends had to share a bed in the other room and they said it was super cramped. but overall we loved it. THE breakfast was AMAZING

Avoid. Can't believe the positive reviews.”

Staff member who checked me in was very rude. Rooms are noisy and you hear everything. Bed and pillows are hard and cheap, ended up using some clothes for a pillow and sleeping on top of the bedding. Unsafe area at night.
