“Worth the money!”
We booked two rooms as a group of travelers—one triple room and one double room. The double room was okay, though the space was quite tight, especially in the bathroom. The triple room was slightly more spacious than the double and had a shower glass door separating the toilet and bath area. It also came with a mini fridge, coffee-making essentials, a hairdryer, and cups. The beds were surprisingly very comfortable for a budget hotel. We had a window with a lovely view of the neighborhood, although it couldn’t be opened for fresh air. The water pressure was excellent, but unfortunately, the internet connection was weak and hardly worked. Good thing we had a Singtel SIM card, so we didn’t bother the staff about it. Room cleanliness was average. They didn’t sweep the floor, and we found candy wrappers left under the bed from previous guests. Sheets were changed every two days, but towels were replaced daily. If you want your sheets changed, make sure to remove any personal items from the bed, as they won’t do it otherwise. The staff were professional and very helpful. Special shoutout to Sir Darren for being exceptionally kind and accommodating—thank you, Sir! He was quick to assist with everything we needed and communicated well. There were no complimentary bottled water, but there was premium filtered water available inside the bathroom. If you’re not comfortable with that setup, you can buy bottled water from nearby stores. The location is a bit far from the major tourist attractions but conveniently near a bus station. There are plenty of affordable and tasty Indian food options in the area. Overall, we had a great stay. Definitely worth every cent. We’d love to come back!
