“Is this a standard of a 4 stars hotel in Orlando?”
The front counter staffs were very rude, they gave me roll eyes when we mess up our payment card. After checked in, we went to our room, the hobby was not bright enough, and had some strange smell. While we walked around the room we assigned, we found out both bath tubs are over used and dirty, washbasins were crack and rust. All beds had stain in somewhere, and the worst is the sofa bed. when we open it, a bed red stain in the middle, alone with tone of crumbs. We called the front desk immediately to request switch room, they said "OK!" and handed up on me without gave me any detail of my request. We wait for half hour and still not receive a call back from front desk, so I went down to the front desk to see what happen. When I got there, I saw they were serving some customer, so I wait it line, and when it was our turn, I had been served by a management team member, I explained the situation of our room and request, then a lady next to him suddenly through a room card on the desk and said that she already switch the room for me. However, she never told us which room, and when it’s ready for us to switch. We were big group travelers which include young children and senior, was she expect all of us pick up everything and wait for her to assist us in the lobby at 10:30pm?? Moreover, we not yet check the room that she swatch for us, how could we know that the room is clean enough for stay? And exactly what we though, the second room she switched for us were also in a bad condition of cleanness, so we looking for the third room that available for us. At least, the third room was still acceptable, it just had some little bugs came out from the corner of bathroom wall, just kill it by hand, it won’t be a big deal, also it was almost midnight, we toke it and rest. At the morning time, we only received two adult breakfast tickets each day we stay, but we were 10 people group which stay in a 10 people room. When I booked the room online, it written include wifi and breakfast, so I asked the front desk and they said they were only giving out 2 adult breakfast tickets for each room a day, also we were booked from agent, they were not responsible for it, I need to call the agent to request support by myself. We just travel to U.S., we don’t have U.S. phone plan, that will to expensive to call. Moreover, it was Saturday morning, the agent office and holiday office staff were off, who can help us. I am not expected to will receive those bad experience with a 4 stars hotel under Holiday Inn. in Orlando, or this is the standard of hotel in U.S.
