Great airport hotel”

We stayed in this hotel the first night upon arrival in Costa Rica and we enjoyed the stay. They have an airport shuttle that picks you up and brings you straight to the hotel within 10 minutes. Hotel is across from the airport Denny's which is a well known spot for pick up if you are planning any tours like us. We would definitely stay here again next time.

Five minutes after clearing immigration , picking up our bags and walking past the barrage of ‘taxi’ vendors, we were checking in. Hard to believe the next morning while sitting beside a pleasant pool in a nice garden that we were parallel to a runway!

Probably the best airport hotel option in San Jose”

A little dated, but spacious rooms, restaurants are okay but pricey in adjoining mall. Service is decent.

Stayed two nights on first arriving in CR after 34 hours in airplanes and airports. Hotel has easy access to most things required by a jet lagged traveller: frequent shuttle btw airport and hotel just outside terminal to the right; ATM in Casino next door; laundry-takes American quarters-in hotel, two restaurants next door, commercial area about 800 meters from hotel where you’ll find liquor and convenience stores. Be sure to use the do not disturb sign on your room if you don’t want to be woken at 7.45 am by housekeeping.

Close to the airport”

Holiday Inn Express provides a free shuttle from the airport. In about 5 minutes you will arrive in the hotel. Rooms are spacious, clean, staff extremly helpful and friendly. Breakfast offers everything you need to start your first day in Costa Rica. Opposite is an American Diner. The offered a free shuttle to Alamo where we had rented our car. Just very customer oriented. Absolutely reccommendable.

Everything was great from the staff to our rooms and breakfast the next day. Well staffed and such a change from everything being understaffed in the US. Did not get to enjoy the pool but looked very nice.. Also a really nice Dennys right outside the hotel. Which worked for our late night arrival.

awesome location, awesome breakfast.. only qualms were the pillow cases were either not changed or the pillow itself needs to be retired… smells moldy

Fantastic place to stay ”

This is a great place to stay especially if you're arriving in Costa Rica late at night. They have free hotel shuttles that park right in front of the airport as well. Check in was fast, the rooms are very clean and nice, and breakfast was a huge plus. If you're a light sleeper, might need earplugs though because since the hotel is so close to the airport, there's airplanes flying overhead constantly which can get loud at times. But altogether, an awesome place to stay for the night.

Great Stay! Will be back”

This was the perfect stay prior to heading out to the airport the following morning. We had a 6:45 am flight and it was no problem heading to the lobby at 4:00 am and catching the first shuttle to the airport. Didn't have to wait more then 5 minutes for the driver and the airport was a short 5 minute ride. Great price and clean room/stay. Highly recommend!

El hotel es excelente en todos sus aspectos, el personal amable, las habitaciones amplias y limpias, las camas son comodisimas lo cual asegura un excelente descanso. La piscina y e gimnasio muy buenos y por último el desayuno es sensaciónal.
