Do not believe the hotel website photos”

stayed 2 nights in a suite number 210. very gloomy lounge area with no window or natural light and no facilities other than a settee, table and chairs, and no even a TV which was in the bedroom but did not work. small are between lounge and bedroom containing a mini bar type fridge, microwave and very old style coffee maker and the smallest built in wardrobe I have ever seen which was in a terrible state with an old key operated safe and many electrical wires hanging out of the wardrobe wall which was dangerous. The bedroom was disgusting, one large cracked window pane, very dingy grey looking bedding with lumpy pillows, blood stained curtains and hardly any noise insulation and could clearly hear guests in adjacent bedrooms and in rooms above. Lots of furniture dragging noises at night and inconsiderate guests shouting in the corridors. Pool area very unattractive with nightclub level music being played even when only 3 or 4 people were trying to relax around the swimming pool! Pool not very clean with lots of small fallen leaves lying on the pool floor. Food quality very poor, un- seasoned and same meal ingredients every day for 2 days . 2 outstanding staff on at reception and one in breakfast time in restaurant but other staff didnt seem to care about service. Hodelpa Emotions beachside hotel is far superior and worth the extra money and I would never stay at Hodelpa Gardens again despite it being used by airlines for their crew night stops.
