A very pleasant place to stay”
The Griya is nicely located on a strip with access to a lot of good restaurants, coffee, bars and various shops/stalls. The same can be said for the beachside pathway. Also close to a few convenience stores down the street if extra stocks for the room are required. Our room was a good size and the king-size bed was very comfortable. The daily room service was excellent and the room was always clean with sufficient bottled drinking water provided. The 'rotten egg' smell (a common Bali water problem!) that accompanied the initial bursts of the water from the shower, basin or toilet was an initial shock but we got used to it very quickly. The restaurant was good in quality and range of foods and the three pools and other amenities were great. The staff were, without exception, very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the Griya Santrian!

Best last minute stay!”
We unexpectedly stayed here for one night due to missing our fast boat. The resort is beautiful and from the moment you stepped onto the lobby floors you feel a sense of tranquil overcoming you. The lobby is open to the garden and you can feel the ocean breeze flowing through as it is just steps away. We didn't get to enjoy the many amenities this resort had to offer but the walk through of the entire property is simply breathtaking. The front desk even held onto our extra luggages free of charge for a couple of days while we stayed at Nuda Penida Island. Definitely we will come back just to stay here a few more days and relish in everything this resort had to offer. Thank you for having us. We can't wait to be back!

Gorgeous Griya Santrian”
We have just returned from another stay at Griya Santrian. For a place in Sanur there is no better place to stay. We had a lovely room (215) and enjoyed the pool every day as well as walks along the beach. There are many good restaurants around there. The staff were so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We also want to mention the beautiful gardens and ground. They are so well kept and it was a please to walk around. We will be back!

Beautiful resort ”
The staff greeted us kindly on arrival and ensured we were happy throughout our stay, even with a phone survey half way through. Loved that they had a freezer for ice and also drinking glasses in the fridge. Bed is firm and comfy, we had a deluxe room with balcony . The pools are beautiful as are the grounds. Breakfast had adequate selection to suit our needs and staff extremely helpful.

Amazing location ”
This was amazing location giving the option of both the beach and the pool side bathing. With it's in house restaurants serving varieties or cuisine and tasting amazing. The rooms were very spacious and the air conditioning was very nice after a full day in the sunshine. The staff were very friendly and polite. I will come back to stay here again

Great budget hotel with convenient location”
Right on the Main Street with access to various restaurants and bars. Room is spacious and clean. Pool is nice and very close to the beach. We didn’t try the restaurants.

Beautiful hotel set in well maintained and interesting gardens. Santrian suite was huge with great dressing room, sitting tv area and lovely bathroom. Three lovely pools. One on the beachfront and two within the garden areas. Would love to return. Excellent location too!

The best place to stay”
We have had a wonderful stay (our second one). The staff is amazing, even arranged for us to visit the owners' family compound to observe the Balinese Hindu offering-making process. So calm, laid, back, great breakfast-lunch buffet, and on the beach!

Quiet Oasis”
We really enjoyed our stay here. The beachfront access with a pool was a definite bonus. The beachfront walking path creates easy access to shops and restaurants while being hidden away in a quiet area. The hotel also provided bikes for a nice stroll along the beach. Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer!

The location is great and the hotel is gorgeous. I would not necessarily recommend this place for a solo traveler, unless you aren’t hoping to strike up conversations. Most of the other guests seemed to want to keep to themselves

The Griya Santrian is a lovely resort set in gorgeous grounds and right on the beach. Loved the balinese style throughout. It was costly at the peak time I booked, so not sure it was the best value for money. I'm sure this varies throughout the year. Staff were friendly and welcoming. My friend and I were upgraded to a beach wing room which we really appreciated. Facilities are great. The pools are beautiful and there are lots of comfortable beach loungers on the beach. Breakfast was fine, we also ate at the restaurant a couple of times and enjoyed our meals. Our spa experience was great. The spa is lovely and all the little extra touches made it special. The beach location and connection to the walk/cycle way which has restaurants on the beach, as well as being close to the main road with lots of shops etc makes it a great spot in Sanur.
