Exceptional”
The stay was great, everything was clean, excellent breakfast, kind and non-obtrusive staff, and the room had a view of the clock and the square, everything was clean and good 1. The restaurants below are a bit noisy in the evening, but for me it added a feeling of vacation. 2. The hotel has two buildings, and the second building has no elevator with terrible staircases, it is only recommended for athletes, but when you book a superior room, it is not indicated anywhere that you will get a room that you have to climb to get to. 2. A single room is too small, not recommended.

great location”
location was superb, right across the astronomical clock. however, there was no incoming water around 4am so can't use the toilet. also, when the water came back, it was black and has grains of soil. you have to leave it open for a while to have clear water to use for bath.

Great location but buyer beware”
Hotel is in a great location, literally across from the astronomical clock, but that is about all this hotel had going for it. Included breakfast was pretty traditional for Europe, nothing to write home about, so I’m glad it was included for free in my offer, it would not be worth it to pay for it.

Very disappointed with this location.”
Although we reserved a courtyard view, they gave us an attic unit with a view of the roof tops. The access to the unit was very inconvenient involving us carrying our bags up several flights of narrow staircases. The people working there were rude and unobliging. I would never come back here again. As an FYI, A taxi or UBER would drop you off at the one end of the town Square and you have to carry your luggage across the Square and the hotel entrance is not clearly visible.

Simply Fabulous!”
The hotel was stunning we had a fabulous room right opposite the astrological clock in the Old Town Square our 6 year old and 8 year old loved sitting on the window sill watching the clock, they never tired of the skeleton ringing the bell, and the apostles moving past the open doors. The room was extremely large, with a very large bathroom, the room was spotless, the hotel staff were extremely knowledgeable and couldn't do more to help. The breakfast was enjoyable with a large choice. OK for vegetarians, as eggs, salt, cheese, bread, yoghurts etc... but my vegan friends would find it limiting. Truly a wonderful hotel in a stunning location, we can't wait to return. Lots to do with the children .... Prague Zoo fantastic, horse and carriage ride, watching buskers on Charles Bridge, walk up to the top of the clock tower for a birds eye view of the city, The original black light theatre, the Marionette theatre .... so much more to explore, will return again soon, hopefully.

Great hotel”
I used to live in Prague and have always wanted to stay on old town. Our hotel room was huge and gorgeous. The breakfast was amazing the next day looking out over the Christmas market. I only wish we had gotten a room that overlooked the square ours was a little further back with a view of the tower, but if you stick your head out you see the square. Overall a great stay, and from someone who used to live in Prague, you won't find a better place to stay during the Christmas markets.

Hotel with the best location ”
we were lucky to get a free upgrade....thank you agoda. the hotel is situated in the nicest area of prague, but be aware it is all walking zone over there. so do not take too much luggage...but the service of the hotel is excellent because they even accompany you to your car to get your luggage ! prices in prague in general are ridiculously high.

Excellent Staff”
We stayed two nights in October - the location across from the famous Clock on the Old Town Square is perfect for exploring old Prague and the breakfasts were wonderful. What really sets the hotel apart from many others is the staff - they are friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. A real pleasure to have this kind of service. Dan B from Canada

in the middle of town”
excellent location : in the middle of the old town just in front of the astronomical clock. Super for the exploration of the town, but you must carry your luggage through the small roads of the old town to reach the hotel (15 minutes). Buffet breakfast in the Mozart Cafe in the Grand Hotel is a must see. The owner of the hotel is a lover of antiques and a collector of clocks. How nice to take your delicious breakfast in the middle of this!

brilliant end to our trip”
to accomodate our twin bed reqiurement we were upgraded to a huge room in the historical wing.facing a side street the only setback was a lot of stairs and passageways each time you went out.the attentive staff ensured that the luggage was handled by them upon arrival and departure.the look of the hotel was really grand as were all the dining and breakfast rooms...we would have loved longer there.
