"I was staying here when typhoon hagibis hits, and this area is perfectly safe. With 3 convenience stores around, we managed to buy daily needs easily. And china garden restaurant opens all day long when the typhoon hits. the only problem is its location is a bit far from the center of the city, but I enjoyed the 20 minutes walk to ginza."

"We extended our stay in Tokyo and needed a hotel for 2 days. We were able to booked a hotel in Ginza Grand Hotel. The location is awesome. Central to Subway and shopping district. A few blocks from famous fish market as well. Cost for the room is very reasonable $109 and $159. The room with 2 beds was much larger than 1 bed. The 1 bed room was very small. Since we were hardly in the hotel, it was ok. If you need the space, don't get the 1 bed room. In addition, even though we were in a non smoking room, you can still smell the cigarette smoke in the hallway. For the location and pricing, I would reserve it again...but only the letter room. We were able to take the subway from Ginza to Narita airport...1 hour and 15 minutes direct. Great plus. "

"I enjoyed my stay at the Mitsui Garden Ginza hotel tremendously because the hotel is very comfortable and it's very new. The hotel is very close to the Shimbashi station so you can travel via the Ginza, Hibiya, and JR Line. There are also many shops and restaurants nearby so you won't be lonely. I look forward to my next business trip so I can stay there again."

"My experience with this hotel is excellent. Fast check in and check out. I booked thru Agoda. T"he location of the hotel is accessible to everything- shopping and eating, subway station (ginza itchome entrance and exit) infront of the hotel, while ginza sta and ginza higashi are a few blocks away from the hotel, There's no dull momemt at ginza. The hotel is new, For us, the room is spacious with 2 single beds. My 8 year old daughter and I shared bed and it is spacious. the hotel staff are very accommodating and respectful. the hotel entrance is at the side of the building. We took the access narita bus from narita airport and from the ginza bus stop we walk to the hotel to familiarize with the environment. our landmark to the hotel is the chou dori st - Melsa and Harry Winston dept stores. If you are going around tokyo, the ginza line is a very good mode of transpo- connecting or direct line to famous places. Next time we visit tokyo, i will surely book with this hotel again, no doubt. Also, i will recommend this hotel to my friends visiting tokyo this year and next year. Daiwa Roynet Hotel Ginza Mgt. pls maintain and continue the excellent service... "

"Excellent location eight minutes’ walk from Tokyo Station, and right in front of Kyobashi Station (Exit 6 takes you right to the hotel’s doorstep!). Recommend getting the metro day passes as Kyobashi Station’s Ginza metro line can take you pretty much anywhere (the Google Maps app was a lifesaver for figuring out train times and transfers). The hotel room itself was well-appointed and spotlessly clean. The room type we booked was the usual small Tokyo size but the main doorway also opened surprisingly narrowly - I imagine people larger than us might have some trouble with it. Get a more spacious room type if you’re concerned about this. The bed was a bit firm for me but my travel partner liked it. Housekeeping kindly supplied us with additional pillows when we asked for it, which was very much appreciated! Also, the smart TV comes with apps like Netflix and Hulu, as well as a movie catalogue and screencast features. The massage chair provided in the room was especially great after a long day of exploring! One thing to note is that the fridge is very narrow and won’t be able to hold wide food boxes unless placed on their side. Plenty of space for bottled drinks and small containers though. We ended up extending our stay here twice - from just one night, to three, to seven. Our week-long stay was great and we look forward to staying here again when we’re next in Tokyo!"

"This hotel offered excellent value for the date I happen to book. Rooms were tiny but cheaper than the rest on Agoda search. It turned out to be a pleasant stay. The Ginza Moegi has way bigger rooms but at way higher prices as we stayed there as well. The Akane is just a smaller size, less newer version of the Moegi sister hotel right next door, but still quite adequate and comfortable if you don't mind small spaces. The bathroom still looks very new and spotless although small. It served it's purpose as a 1 night stay with a convenient grocery store about 1 to 2 blocks away near Denny's. The only thing I don't like is that the kettle once used takes 20 min to cool down to reuse. But still better than no kettle provided. Staff that spoke English was very pleasant and friendly. They also have a free shuttle to the Tokyo station upon reserving at 6:30 am. I would stay at this place again due to convenient location and if pricing is as competitive as when I last booked. "

"Very modern, clean brand new hotel on the edge of Ginza. Excellent location footsteps from two metro lines ( Kyobashi and Takaracho). Walking distance to Tokyo station ( wheeled my 32kg suitcase there comfortably). It’s a 20min walk from Tsukiji. Family mart on the ground floor was realky convenient. The staff were really helpful and accommodating. Had a few issues with my A/C but they did everything they could to help and eventually helped me to change rooms ( no complaints here, sometimes things just need a repair, and they solved the problem!) My superior double was very small but this is typical of Tokyo hotels. Two large people might find the sleeping quarters cramped but if you plan to spend most of your time sightseeing then this hotel is great. I’d book a larger room for two people. Great value for money given the location, cleanliness and friendly service from the staff. "
