Booked a twin room with my father for 3 nights to attend a wedding in the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel met our needs in every way. The staff were courteous.We ate in the bistro on our first night and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Breakfast was included and although the hotel was busy we had no delays or queues. The bar staff were also very friendly. For those of you considering holding a wedding reception there, I would highly recommend it - food was first class! and service quick and efficient even though there over 200 guests.We will definitely return if the opportunity presents itself.

Great Hotel with some Staff Problems”
The Galway Bay Hotel is a lovely place to stay. Our room was very comfortable and clean, with excellent bedding, towels, and amenities. The free broadband internet and the pool/fitness center were also very nice. Our only complaint was that the people at the front desk were not helpful in that they did not know Galway very well and gave poor advice about driving, parking, recommendations for food or entertainment, shopping, laundry, etc. If the hotel would hire people who knew the area and were helpful, I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. The other issue is that the hotel is not located close to the city centre and you will be required to either walk a distance or hire an expensive taxi.

Varning! Dyrt, dammigt och med en osannolikt smutsig och dålig restaurang både när det gäller kvalitet på mat och service. Frukosten knappt halvbra, hovmästaren nonchalant, porslin och gardiner hade smuts och fläckar och servitörerna var ovana och osäkra. . Även om sängarna var sköna så vette rummet med ”havsutsikt” mot soptunnor, sophantering och en park med ständigt festande ungdomar. AC saknas i rummen och fläkt saknas i badrummet. Ett litet plus för trevligt bemötande i receptionen.
