Do not book if emergency; the staff is not 24/7. They'll be coming from their home and you have to wait before being accomodated. Also it is far from the city, no restaurants nearby.

We stayed at G and E Garden Pavillion and La Verandah Hotel for one night, so it was a short but very pleasant stay. We were actually pleasantly surprised, because the amount we paid was not much, so we weren't expecting a lot. We were very happy that we booked G and E because of the good value for money, clean and well-maintained facilities, and very attentive staff. We will definitely recommend G and E to others.

Good Value for your money”

This surprisingly homely resort is a good option for families or groups who want an isolated place with privacy. It's not your run of the mill hotel since it has no restaurant and soap and shampoo are limited, but if you know that and prepare it does provide a relaxing experience. There is a common sala area with access to unlimited water, coffee, and tea which is a good place to bond if yiu are in a group. My family were the only guests during our stay which made us feel like VIP guests and the manager and staff were very kind and accommodating. Just make sure to bring a car so you can travel to town to eat and do things.

Felt Like a Bed and Breakfast!”

The hotel was the right location for us, as it was far enough from the busy city proper but close enough to where we wanted to go. The owners were very thoughtful -- coffee, tea and water were available throughout the stay; wifi password and contact number ready upon check in; even ready breakfast when we thought we had to go out to grab some! We will gladly return.

Its just a simple motorist-inn like accommodation,.. the owner is very nice and welcoming,. the place is good for those traveler who wanted to spend a night during their long drive/trip,.

Quiet and peaceful resort ”

We only stayed in this hotel for two days but it was a very comfortable and pleasant visit. We are backpackers who were making our way up from Donsol to Manila airport and decided to stop off and see another location on the way. This hotel offers a lot of extras and receivies the strongest Wi-Fi I've experienced within the Philippines. The breakfast is basic but tasty and filling. You are also welcome to help yourself to free tea, coffee and water throughout the day. The staff are willing to bend over backwards to help you by providing a host of information on things to do in San Pablo including handy transport information. They even went as far as to drop us to the bus station and negotiate our fare, to spare us being ripped off. I would certainly recommend this hotel although San Pablo is not full of activities, apart from your run of the mill sightseeing spots.

G and E was the place best to stay if your going for an adventure or nature tripping around Laguna. The place was clean from its rooms and surroundings. The place was very peaceful that you can be very relaxed and somehow you will forget your busy life in Metro Manila. The room where we stayed gives a feeling that we are in our own home. My husband and will definitely go back there if time permits.

It was a very wonderful experience. Ideal for me and my hubby who both wanted peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the busy metropolis. We definitely had a great time and we're actually planning to go back there as soon as our schedules allow. I love Jofel's breakfast meal (great cook, eh) and Eric had always been helpful with all our needs. His suggestions are great and well appreciated. Kudos to this wonderful couple! We'll definitely go back to G&E with our family or friends. Highly recommended indeed. And undeniably one of the most amazing travel experience for me. Thanks, G&E. Thank you, agoda.com. :)

A relax B&B style”

G and E Garden Pavilion and La Verandah Hotel is a charming place in the village. Very refreshing with all the green plants and flowers welcoming you. It's a small nice compound ala Bed and Breakfast style. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is good, it is a very safe place for women travelers, and what makes it special is the management personnel - a wife and husband team of Jofel and Eric. Truly, this gracious couple made our stay superb. The booking was easy, Jofel is available anytime to communicate through phone, email or social media, Eric goes the extra mile in driving us around the tourist spots any time of the day or night. This couple is pretty sweet! What an extremely good spirit of service! Maraming salamat po :) Babalik kami! (Thank you so much :) We will come back!)

Great Little Family Hotel”

We love this little hotel. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Had a standard room with a baby. The hotel staff made our stay awesome. We recommend them highly and will return! This a great quiet place to stay for a family or a single who wants to be away from the crazy city. Open lobby lounge was great fro meals and morning coffee. No TV in room made it even more intimate. If you want a lot of amenities don't book here. If you want a quiet peaceful place to rest this is your place! Howell, Jade and Martina

Excellent value away from the noise of the city”

You get aircon, TV and hot shower for a very reasonable price just an 8 peso jeepney ride away from San Pablo City. Though being a good distance away from town has its virtues--quieter and cleaner air--you only have a couple of sari sari stores to meet your basic needs, but with that being said the staff was kind enough to do a run into town to do some quick shopping for us. We also had no problem ordering Jolibee delivery which again the staff was happy to arrange for us.

Great Verandah where I had to stay most of the time for fresh air. Toilet would need trash can, mirror and hangers to hang towel and clothes.
