Before going, I made a reservation and was worried after seeing extreme reviews. However, I thought I should go and judge for myself before experiencing it. It was better than I expected. At first, I didn't know because I took a taxi, but there were many convenient facilities when I walked around. Also, I don't usually want cleaning every day during my stay. I don't like it when someone touches my things. The taste of the water from the water purifier was also good! My baby also drank it without any problems. However, it seemed like it was purified water, not cold water. I put it in a bottle and kept it in the refrigerator to drink it cold. One room had a convenient water temperature control, but the other one was inconvenient because I had to adjust the hot and cold water separately. It was on the 6th floor, but it wasn't humid or smelly. I didn't request breakfast, but when I asked for ice at the breakfast buffet, they gave it to me. There was also a microwave in the lobby, so I could heat up my food. They also kindly answered my questions before I went, which was helpful. However, compared to the size of the hotel and the number of guests, there seemed to be few staff members. It would be nice if they could replace the towels every day even if they don't clean the room. The swimming pool wasn't very deep, ranging from 0.8m to 1.5m, but it was good for relaxation. However, the water was a bit cold. I intend to stay here again next time!

<Advantages> 1. The location of the accommodation is very convenient and good. 2. There is plenty of space even with two suitcases open! 3. The mirror and wardrobe are spacious. 4. There is also a balcony, which is good for drying wet clothes. 5. It can be ventilated! 6. The swimming pool is spacious and the towels are well-stocked. It is open at night. 7. Dongbang Misik, the best fried rice restaurant, is nearby. <Disadvantages> 1. Even when the air conditioner is on, the bedding is damp due to humidity. The sound is also very loud. 2. Be careful with hot water during showers (can also be an advantage). 3. There is no water purifier on the 5th floor (but the water tastes fine). 4. The emergency exit...why is it designed so that the door cannot be opened from the inside when entering the emergency exit? It feels like a horror movie...if you enter, you have to go down to the 2nd floor. 5. Noise in the hallway is not very noticeable, but noise outside the window is not soundproof. 6. The swimming pool is on the 6th floor, and you have to take the elevator, so the hallway becomes a very cold space after swimming. Be careful not to catch a cold.

We are a family of four with children, currently on a trip with a schedule of 2 nights in Kuala Lumpur, 2 nights in Singapore, and 3 nights back in Kuala Lumpur. We are currently staying in a watermelon-themed accommodation in the city of Pura. Prior to our trip, we inquired about a special event for our anniversary and the accommodation in Pura was able to accommodate our request. Upon arrival, they even celebrated our child's birthday with a small cake, fruit, and a small lion doll. It was amazing! The Chinatown station is about a 5-minute walk away, and we plan to use our transportation card to visit Marina Bay Sands, the Platoon Hotel, and Gardens by the Bay. Today, we plan to visit Universal Studios.

This trip was not a first for us … in fact only last year we were also in Singapore simply because we love the place , food and most especially the people but this time around it was extra special because of Taylor Swift not to mention we are staying at one of the most sought after places to stay in at SG because of location , location , location !! I admittedly was somehow disappointed on our very first day and I wasn’t my best self when my expectations are not met most especially for the pricey price I spent for 9 days we planned and call the hotel temporarily our home away from home , I’m sure most of us want our money’s worth ! We checked in late at almost after midnight - the room was not as we are expecting it to be : it was a bit outdated , the air conditioning was not cooling the room , the faucet in the sink by the restroom water was coming out like a strong uncontrollable shower and water was everywhere everytime we use it ! The toilet bowl had some molds underneath not to mention the room had some musty smell and the window glass for the view needs some frequent cleaning looks like it . I had informed the front desk about my concerns which they attempted to promptly addressed but unfortunately for some reasons most of it wasn’t an easy fix . It was understandably a very busy season for the hotel because of The Eras Tour … I had spoken with Aydenthe Manager in the morning of and was very impressed with how he handled the situation very amicably and professionally so as the rest of the staff that needed to be commended : Reva ,Francis , Ralph , Yvette, Imah , Mariah , Remah , Kelly and most especially the housekeeping lady at the 9th floor on the days / dates we were there who was very hard working and accommodating . Sadly on the morning of March 16,2024 she was apparently not working but someone else instead who was seemingly rushing and very dismissive . I am just glad we had the nice lady on the days we were there . My fault for not even asking her good name . Also , worth mentioning was the pool —- we had a good time using it ! I won’t think twice returning most especially when we were moved to a room where almost all of the things you’re expecting it to be like how they were advertised was very much like in real life . The hotel itself is very underrated when they say it’s in city center because it was more than that …. Furama City Center Hotel is very much conveniently located in the heart of China town and pretty much almost all the things you wanted to do while in Singapore and blend with some locals. I actually missed our routine that we managed to do , acted and tried blending with some locals . The hotel rates itself as 4-star which it definitely isn't. However the location is terrific, right in the middle of lively Chinatown. Check-in etc was seamless and staff seemed quite friendly. We booked an Executive suite to comfortably accommodate 3 of us, a good move as the normal rooms are quite small. The suites are on the higher floors and ours has a spectacular view over the Singapore skyline. A suite also gives you access to a private lounge with free drinks between 6pm-8pm every day. Breakfast at the aptly named Tiffany's was pretty decent every day offering Western, Chinese, Malay and Indian fare. Some staff were a little surly but most were quite pleasant. Decor a little dated and worn with room cleaning only every 3 days but I would probably stay here again.
