Exceptional”

Close to TBS building and train station, there are Harry Potter stores nearby, many restaurants and shops. Noisy at night. The room is comfortable, but there is no locker to store luggage, so you have to separate your belongings and lock your bag in the room's separate storage box. The sliding curtains make a loud noise, and you may be startled when someone enters the room while you are sleeping. The bathroom is located underground, so prepare to take the elevator to brush your teeth and take a shower. There are amenities such as soap, shampoo, massage cream, tissues, hair dryer, washing machine, and hair rollers, so you can stay comfortably without bringing anything. The staff is very helpful in finding information. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is beautiful inside.

"I was surprised by the high ceiling."”

I made a reservation with the main intention of getting some sleep, but I was also very satisfied with the service. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly when I dropped off my luggage before check-in. The location is also reassuring as it faces a well-lit street. What surprised me the most was the height of the ceiling in the private room, which was higher than other capsule hotels. Changing clothes was also easy to do. There is a lockable space in the room where you can store valuables.

Will come again”

For the first time at Akasaka like me, hotel location is really important, metro station just 2 min away, all restaurants i want just around. The facility also friendly reception, clean room, although told me every two days will clean the room, but everyday when I come back, there has a clean pajama and towels just left at the door for me. It's really a good service. Only thing is shower need go to the B1 and only one elevator, need take sometimes to go down, but so far it's a good experience for me, will come again for sure.

Tip: request room away from main street or next to washroom, lots of traffic foot movement or hearing form the bustling of the streets - heard firetrucks and etc. The Good : Location is excellent. doorstep across the st - akasaka station - chiyoda line, walk a couple blocks north - akasaka mitsuke - Ginza line, couple blocks south - Tomei station Rooms are right sized for tokyo per price, Hotel onsen - love it needed it nightly after massive walking daily Things left desirable - Noise proofing to be better, could hear snores or people opening their cabins and foot traffic. - better pillows , pillows were too soft for my liking. - lounge area on the same floor instead of the lower basement floor.

Fine for a really cheap option - if it were cheap! Not worth the money.”

I've stayed in these kinds of cabin places before, and they'd be fine, they'd be great, if they were cheaper. For 3000/night, I'd take it as a cheap option, absolutely. But for 7500 or whatever I paid, I want a private room, even if it's a small one. Hotel prices in the big cities have gotten ridiculous since Covid "ended". First Cabin accommodations are very clean, they're certainly good in that respect, and they try to make up for the sleeping spaces by having the shower/bath areas seem more luxurious, with a sort of luxury aesthetic to them. But, while I don't mind the small size of the cabins, they're not proper rooms with any amount of sound protection between them. There's no proper door to close all the way, but just a thin curtain. So, no matter how respectfully quiet people are trying to be, you're hearing noises all night. People bumping the wall of the cabin as they shift in their sleep. People bumping around as they return to the hotel or head out very late at night. People's phones vibrating with text messages or morning alarms, somewhere in a nearby cabin. And, the beds themselves, the mattresses, are terrible. If only they'd give you a really nice, cushy, hotel quality mattress, I feel like that would make up for so much. Finally, the Akasaka location in particular: there's only one elevator, and all the shared bath/shower spaces are in the basement. That means that if you're going for a shower or bath or coming back from one, with your towel and all your things in your hands, you're sharing an elevator with people in street clothes coming to check in or check out, as the elevator passes through the "Front" (hotel check-in floor). I really didn't like this. If I'm inside a hotel, wearing indoor slippers, pajamas, or whatever indoor loungewear sort of thing they provide (and they do provide this, so that's one tiny perk), I want to be sort of separated from the outside world, within just the private areas of the hotel.
