Terrible service ”
As an experience traveler, I was not expecting a fancy hotel or anything like that. The hotel itself is beautiful. But the service was terrible. Upon checked in, I was switched room (I booked a garden bungalow) without any explanation. I was put in a room by the main bathroom for the hostel, which was loud all night from usage. I asked for the room I booked and paid for. The front desk told me that the room is being fixed and asked to check back the next day. The next day, I came to ask for the other room and I was informed I need to wait for other guest to check out which was concerning from what they told me the night before. I left for a few hours and come back to find my room was unlocked and opened. I know for sure I did lock it before I left. The front desk informed me I was the only one with key. The whole incident is fine if the staff was just being honest with me. I know things happened but lying and being rude about it doesn’t help. The location is great. Lots of food around but expensive.

a wonderful place to stay, especially for the price. the staff are kind and attentive, the breakfast is delicious, & the grounds are gorgeous. i extended my stay after being so impressed w the hostel. thank you for a great stay!!

Decent for price”
People were talking in the garden until very late which was pretty difficult to sleep to. No fan to cool down either so you have to be pretty tired to sleep. Place looked great, good location, and breakfast available plus leftover pancakes at any hour.

Excellent Stay - Beautiful Hostel & Amazing Staff”
This is a beautiful place to stay, nestled in a part of San Jose that is surrounded with restaurants. The staff were incredible and organized a car to pick me up from the airport. I got in super late and the staff quickly accommodated me and made me comfortable. The breakfast was delicious!! I would definitely recommend.

Super comfy bed, clean space, impressive breakfast with many choices, all day free coconuts and bananas + teas and coffee, very well accessorised kitchen (but no small pots avaiable), nice little garden on the back.

Excelente ubicación e instalaciones ”
Muy acogedor lugar, el personal es muy amable y el desayuno es adecuado. En lo personal mejoraría un poco las instalaciones del sanitario ya que le faltan ganchos o entrepaños donde colgar o colocar cosas. Excelente barrio y hay muchos lugares alrededor donde comer, cenar o comprar cosas. Caminando hasta el centro haces unos 25 min a pie
