From the moment we arrived, owner Freddy made us feel right at home. Within minutes, he had taken the initiative to contact our zip line tour provider and get our (too early) 7:30 a.m. reservation changed to 10:30 a.m. Freddy gave us a map of local attractions and eateries, with helpful comments and recommendations. The free breakfast and coffee at Eddy's were ample and tasty--fresh local fruit and a variety of egg dish choices. The location is a short walk from the center of Santa Elena, and the view of nearby mountains from the upstairs rooms was pleasing. The only drawback was that our room appeared to be in the final stages of remodeling. Some of the trim was missing, and there were no towel racks, chairs, bedside lamps, or shelving for clothes. We expect that those issues will be resolved soon and that the rooms will appear as striking as they do on the website. Given the low price, friendly family atmosphere, and convenient location, however, the "work in progress" condition was a minor drawback. We would happily return to Eddy's and heartily recommend it.

Small but outstanding place to stay”
This is a small family run business. The room is small but clean. Showers give plenty of hot water. Freddy, the owner is incredibly nice and helpful. He will cook dinners upon requests, and they are outstanding.

This place was great. Conveniently located and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Freddy, the owner, however, made our stay memorable. Such an amazing host. Breakfast was amazing as well.

Avant le départ pour la réserve de Santa Elena ”
Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans cet établissement, la famille qui tient l'hôtel est d'une gentillesse exceptionnelle, ils nous ont renseigné merveilleusement bien sur les alentours. Rien à redire sauf peut être l'isolation, mais on nous a dit que c'était normal à santa Elena. Sinon rien à dire.

Sehr schöne, saubere Zimmer. Da wir aufgrund einer Nachtwanderung spät nach Hause kamen und kein Restaurant mehr offen hatte, hat uns des Hotelbesitzer trotz später Stunde noch Essen gemacht!! Auch kümmert er sich um Ausflüge etc. Lage ist super, zu Fuß ca. 5-8 Minuten in das Dorf. Klare Empfehlung meinerseits.

Die Zimmer sind top, richtig gemütlich, sauber und die Dusche hatte den härtesten Wasserstrahl seit langem. Der Besitzer war einer der nettesten und hilfsbereitesten Menschen, die ich je getroffen habe. Das Frühstück war super super lecker und am Abend vor der Abreise haben wir sogar Sandwiches zum Mitnehmen bekommen, weil wir um 05:00 morgens weitergereist sind und das reguläre Frühstück erst ab 07:00 startet. Wundervoll alles. 11/10 Punkten !!
