A fine new resort like hotel in the eastern side of Singapore, within Laguna Golf country club. Parking entrance was unimpressive with hoarding boards but surprising the service was impeccable once we entered the hotel. Starting from the check in (Chester at the front desk was personable yet professional. He raised our impression of the place by highlighting that our room has a supreb view and nicely decorated for our wedding anniversary and it surely did not disappoint.) The nice gesture of Mocha cake was appreciative and tasted superlicious. It was sent to us in a timely manner barely 1 minute after checking in. Was looking forward to a relaxing cum peaceful time lounging by the pool when we were 'harassed by a police-like service staff - the whole experience nearly marred by such blatant callousness. Saving grace was the supervisor, Jessica Yip, who later apologized profusely and placate our frustration over such flagrantly uncouth treatment. Jessica also managed to soothe our nerves by plying drinks, slushies, compliments and in conclusion, all's well that that ends well. Our evening dinner at Legends Bar was just mediocre, as most of the staff seemed frantic and hurried. Again, the supervisor at Greenhouse, Nisha, saved the day (the morning after) as I requested her to help me order room service for me during breakfast, since it was disturbing to turn on the TV just to access the QR code, with my wife still soundly asleep in the comfortable bed. The food came timely again but the Asian menu leaves much to be desired. Nice room in an esteemed, established brand hotel and it truly deserves the title of 'Oasis of the Orient', in terms of the amenities, facilities, superb service and food & beverage (Even with limited f&b outlets unless it's only ordering room service) if you relish the occasional airplanes cruising by, due to it's proximity to the airport. On the first day of my trip to Singapore, I searched for a reasonably spacious and clean hotel near the airport since I arrived at Changi after 11 pm. This hotel was perfect for that purpose. However, I almost got taken to the wrong place by a taxi driver who didn't understand the address, so it's important to communicate the address clearly. The room was spacious enough, clean, and had stylish amenities that showed attention to detail. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, and the taste was good. I was surprised to find blue cheese, camembert cheese, nuts, and dried fruits in addition to the usual bread and cereal. The omelet made by the chef was also delicious. The pool, which was spacious and clean, was perfect for families with children. The greenery and scenery were beautiful, and my children loved watching the occasional airplane fly by. The staff were all kind and helpful. I would love to stay here again.

We stayed here for 5 days and it was an outstanding stay. First off, the staff and the over all ambiance was excellent. From check-in to check-out. Everyone was just so accommodating and friendly. As a tourist and first time in Singapore, it is a good feeling to be at a hotel where you feel safe, comfortable and at home. We get that feeling here from the start. The room was perfect for us - a couple and a child. The room was big enough with a king size bed. The bathroom was super-duper clean (I like it a lot), our room view was the pool side which I can look down to see my wife and son when they swim. Bottled water was provided daily, which is very important for us. When we travel, that's usually our first stop, to buy water for our hotel stay. Here, there's no need. The fridge is also stock with sodas, juice and snacks which is also included. That's convenient esp with a kid in tow! My son and I had a date night at Legends Bar with live singers. That was my son's first time in any bar with live entertainment so he was pleased. He had mocktails, wagyu beef and barrata pizza. Everything was delectable and we had a memorable date night. I also ordered a room service in Dusit Gourmet one night. The mango sticky rice was the best! On our last day at the hotel, It rained so we opted out of touring. Instead, we decided to just relax, swim and enjoy the hotel. We had an international lunch buffet at their restaurant, the Greenhouse. Food selection includes, Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Indian and Italian cuisines. It was worth the price. Had the hotel not been so comfy, we would be force to go out and continue our tour even if it was pouring rain. Glad we booked here so we have an option to just stay indoors and slow down a bit. The downside of this hotel is the distance from everywhere else we wanted to visit in Singapore. We went to Sentosa a lot for USS, Luge, Ifly and etc. One way taxi is 25sgd. A Gem Tucked in Changi: A Great Value for Money”
It was an amazing place, tucked in the ends of Changi. The rooms are a good size and clean. The pools are amazingly big and a good size to swim in. The buffet is great, and the food is fantastic. The customer service is also excellent. The downside is that it is not near a 7-Eleven or a convenience store. Thus, buying last-minute snacks or toiletries can be tough, as we have to go out to the nearest one, which might be Jewel—if it's late at night, Sim Ming MRT station. That's quite far, and there are no buses nearby; we had to grab a taxi. But overall, my experience was great, and it's such a value for money.

A nice getaway”
Chose this hotel as a getaway for our 6th anniversary. We went on 10 Aug when the easing of Phase2 restrictions took effect, so I was looking forward to use the pool and gym. Unfortunately, only vaccinated visitors are allowed to use the gym. Luckily we could still use the pool which was huge and could be booked in a block of 2-hours. However, the jacuzzi did not seem to be functioning when we tried turning it on. We stayed in the pool view patio room. Not much of a pool view though as it's blocked by the hedges & plants which otherwise offered privacy. I had checked with the hotel upon booking to ensure there's no restriction to using the patio as what 1 of the reviewers had highlighted a few months back. We could rest at the patio but access to the pool is only through the main pool entrance. Do note that patio door will automatically lock once closed so do ensure u have the key card while chilling at the patio. The room was clean, cosy & nice. We received an anniversary card from the hotel & a cute complimentary cake. That's when the ants started showing up. Luckily we were already 3/4 through with the cake. So don't leave uncovered food & drinks unattended on the desk. The Dusit Thani app made it so convenient for us to place order for in-room dining, book facilities, request for room service and - the best part - request for bolster & pillows of our choice! They have a list of pillows which they name it the Dream menu. As what some reviewers had highlighted before, my only gripe is the absence of bidet in the toilet. Please consider installing them. We did not get to try the food as they're not Halal-certified but the coffee & teh tarik were nice. And there's plenty of Halal/Muslim-owned eateries nearby to order from. Parking is a bit of a hassle as we parked in the underground lot which has no lift access to the hotel. We had to take the stairs up and walked a bit to the lobby.
