We managed to book a great deal for this hotel, prize was low for scandinavian terms and breakfast included. The breakfast was delicious and offers everything you could wish for. The rooms are small but clean and cozy and free coffee/tea is provided. The hotel is in the heart of Tromsø and close to aorport bus, harbor and restaurants. Would stay there again!

Location : fantastic!! Bed : better than most 5 stars hotels!!! Breakfast : good norwegian style food!! Late brunch waffles : omg!! Best thing ever invented!! Dinner : just great to have it!! the room is spacious and with good view. We can see the harbour and cruise from the room. Breakfast is nice and the hotel also offer free Wraffle as tea during 4-5pm daily. the hotel is as the city centre, easy to locate.

We just randomly booked a hotel cos wasnt fimiliar with tromso at all. To our pleasant surprise, it's a good random booking! Location was great to meet up points nearby got aurora chase, breakfast was good with a good variety and tea break was served (which we ended up skipping lunch & money). Will definitely stay here again if we were to visit tromso.

If you look for an apartment kind of accommodation, then this is a perfect choice. Old red house is within 20 mins walking distance to major attractions. There is possibility to see Northern Lights from the kitchen if you are lucky when the sky is clear. The property owner was extremely helpful and friendly. we just love the design of this hotel, room was spacious and bed also comfortable. the common area are nice with a touch of skandinavian. there's a modern look fireplace which is very nice in the lobby good to beat the extreme cold weather in winter time

I stayed just a night in Ami Hotel. Location is quite good and the rooms are ok, but a bit noisy due to light walls and plumbing of the sinks. As nice it is to have a watersink in the room, you can't help the noise that comes from it, when someone uses it on otherside of the wall or above... Tromsø is a small town and this hotel is right in the middle. The staff is super friendly. Airport bus stop is super close to it but cabbing will cost almost the same if you are a group of 3-4. The staff will help you to flag. We got a clean stylish room with a nice view. They are a green hotel so no daily room make-up. Extra change of towels has charge.
