Find accommodations in San Jose

We ended our Costa Rica trip here, and loved coming to a modern, clean, beautiful place. The surrounding area is old, and a bit dirty (it's downtown San Jose), yet this is a little Oasis of greatness right in the middle of everything that you can see in San Jose (as there's not too much to see). Staff was very friendly, and the Hotel itself was quite nice.

had a great stay... Would return there if I were to travel to San Jose in the future. The hotel staff was very accommodating with changes in our arrival time. It seemed like a busy place with a nice buzz.

They didn't have a standard room ready so they upgraded us to business class. The staff spoke good English and were helpful when we asked them for assistance. We ate at the resturant and the food was superb. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Great value for your money, breakfast was awesome

The rooms a spacious und very clean, we srayed with our two kids 9 and 12 at the 10th floor with a great view on San Jose. The highl for our boys was definitely the indoor pool on the third floor. Of all included breakfasts in Costa Rica during our three weeks journey this one was absolutely the best.

Bathroom needed updating, poor maintainence

Hyatt Hotels are always nice, but I was truely empressed with this one. It was located in a great plaza with lots of nice restaurants and other facilities nearby. Everything was excellent except that the orange and pineapple juice at the breakfast bar was not made from fresh fruit and tasted terrible!

other than finding parking for this hotel (which was probably our own fault) out stay was wonderful. we stayed on good friday and so naturally everything in san jose was shut down but we still managed to have a great night. the food at the restaurant was fabulous and the customer service was top notch! would def stay at the tryp again!!

Nice clean hotel. Place is about 15 mins from the main bit of town. Staff are kind and will arrange cabs etc. Hotel is good value for Costa Rica and feels personal with lots of open space. Breakfasts are amazing and not to be missed.

This is a reasonable hotel and decent enough place to stay for one night. We used it to get to the domestic Nature Air terminal early the next morning. Breakfast is offered by Denny's and is an American affair. When we arrived there was some sort of tournament going on which meant the place was full of adolecent youths... and can get pretty loud with the Casino there. ...

Their was a big difference in the staff. The night guy was a lot better than the day gay. Included breakfast was very disappointing just toast. If you want anything else, like an egg, you have to pay extra. Not included by my opinion

I respect Ester for running her operation all by herself, it's a lot of work, she's also a nice woman. She was very helpful to me when I needed something done I couldn't do myself. Her house is large and well kept. Very good location if you need access to Escazu. Very modern small city with all amenities. Good value for the money.

Quiet Oasis above San Jose. Enjoy the view and tasty breakfast

I alwasy use this hotel when i come to Costa Rica San Jose. Their gym is amazing big and equipped. Japanese restaurant Fuji is veny nice to have.

Great rooms, a nice sojourn after th rainforests of Costa Rica

Costa Rica Guesthouse was a good place to spend my last night before flying out back home. As almost all hotels in CR it is overpriced, but it was clean (though bedsheets had lots of old ink stains on them) and the bathrooms were nice.

The hostel is fine, staff very friendly, the place is clean and has a chill vibe about it. I don’t however, recommend the airport pick up service.After two flights and about 14 hours of travel time, the guy in charge of my airport pick up was nowhere to be found.I had to go through all the names on the drivers’ boards twice. Friendly helpful staff, great location. Easy walk to museums and surrounded by tons of great restaurants and bars.

After reading the reviews for this hotel i was like im going to try it. I was not disappointed at all. The guy at the front desk( I forgot his name because i was having too much fun) was amazing!!! In the middle of all the action. I had room# 704 and it was a nice size room with a balcony. I had a blast!!!!!

This hotel is a good option for those on vacation, mainly if you travel with your family. Location is good, since it's on a walking distance to downtown. Also nice to have a swiming pool and free internet. However, it's not a good option for business travelers: too noise. If you need a comfortable bad, also not the best option.

The Fleur de Lys is a whimsical hotel with old world charm. The staff is friendly and go out of their way to assist. I arrived Friday afternoon and was helped by the front desk agent. I forget his name but he was quite helpful. He showed me how to get to downtown area by map and then when I asked about making tour reservations after the tours dept was closed he called ...

Great, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, spotless room. Location was good for us - near what we were doing - but maybe not so convenient for people doing tourist stuff in San Jose. Quiet place - we will definitely stay again another time,
