Where to stay in Denpasar
Denpasar hotels & accommodations

Beautiful villa. Lovely setting inside. However, it was REALLY hard to find the place. And wifi internet functioned only intermittently. But this is Indonesia. My issue was that we were looking for something not far from the airport. So we chose "Denpasar". This place was NOT at all close to the airport. So beware of the location

I would like recommend Aston Denpasar Hotel & Convention Center to my friends as they will visit to Bali very soon. The room size is the most impressive things and it suit all my family members. The hotel is located at North Denpasar which is also a busy district and the most important the safety of hotel is satisfactory.

I Was Amaze And Really Glad Stayin In All Season Bali Denpasar Hotel. It Was Clean And Very Suiting, I Like The Staff Who Are Very Friendly And Helpful, They Provide Great Service And Take Good Care Of Their Clients Next Time I Come Back I Will Choose All Seasons Bali Denpasar Hotel Again. They Also Provide Me Some Things And Facts I Need To Know Before I Go Out. Very ...

wow, it certainly is a wow deal. i'm pleased to have stayed with pop hotel in denpasar, due to the fact that i need to be in the area for running some chores. the room although is not huge, but it's very clean and compact. beds are comfortable. services are up to the professional standard. the conventional breakfast is such a delight- the way it's presented and th...

It's not glamorous but for the price this is great value. Very comfortable, hardly even needed the air con, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Apparently it was the first hotel in Denpasar and there's quite a bit of interesting history to it as well, for those interested in Indonesia's political past.

Clean rooms and pool. Air con broke and immediately moved to a better room. Balcony rooms are great- other senior other rooms have option for fresh air that keeps the place feeling good. Close to museum, Alun Alun, big central market, the Denpasar coffee place and jalan Sulawesi for all your fabrics. Denpasar is looking good lately, and this is a place to enjoy it. Ube...

hotel clean, bed comfortable, rooms size was oke, location if good because i had business meeting around north denpasar and this is the best hotel around north denpasar, but its quite far from city center and it took 1 hour from airport to hotel during peak hours 12 noon

We had a wonderful stay at the Golden Tulip. The staff were amazing; very attentive and friendly. Our room was spacious and clean, and the pool area is lovely - very quiet and relaxing. The restaurant is amazing - the choice of food is brilliant and it's ridiculously cheap for what you get - I paid $12 for a delicious three course meal. Be aware that the location isn'...

I travel a great deal and I look for a comfortable bed, good quality room and good facilities such as a business centre, pool and good food and beverage service. I found all of that at this hotel. Its just outside the main drag but only 15 minutes from Sunset Boulevard. By contract hotels in Legian and Seminyak are often 20-25 minutes away from Kuta. The rate is really...

Fully furnished room with small kitchen, quite new, actually good for long-term rental for locals instead of tourists because kind of difficult to find, 8 out of 10 times the taxi or uber/grab drive cannot find even with google map and distant from beach or any attraction. And always traffic ... But highly recommended if you will stay long in Bali and have a motorbik...

We really loved our stay at The Salak. The staff were very accomodating, the rooms are very new & clean and well sized, the amenities are great. The breakfast is a healthy Indonesian style breakfast with also a choice of cooked eggs and toast. I can't fault this place. The view overlooks rice paddies and it's very pretty, especially for Denpasar. It's about a 10 minut...

We flew in late to Denpasar airport and caught a taxi to Sugiras which cost 200,000IDR (perhaps could have battered to 150,000IDR but we were exhausted). Even though it was late they welcomed us in. Room was very clean and modern, the bed was an actual King, firm but comfortable, and the bathroom lovely. "Splurging" on aircon was a very good idea, just to get a break f...

Place was not really hard to find if you have GPS. Hotel was attached to public pool and futsal field. Can be crowded at times with kids having swimming lesson, otherwise it could be a peaceful bliss within a city. Cleanliness was okay. Lighting need to be improved especially around the desk area and bathroom. Parking lot was limited but you could always park on the st...

The stay was awesome. The room which we stayed-in, was big and most of all it was clean especially the bathroom. The 2nd best thing about the room is the view. There's a small river next to the Hotel that gave us a super relaxing sounds and there are trees around the river, so when we woke up we could see the trees and birds thru the window. The Paica Hotel served some...

The hotel is very good for sleeping at nights (value for money). If you wish to stay in the hotel during the day time, it'll be a poor choice. We were out of the hotel during the day time on all 5 days. This was our plan too. Breakfast is too minimal (fried rice or rice, egg, watermelon pieces coffee, tea). Not worth a couple of $$ extra. There is no restaurant at t...

If you want to stay in this area of Denpasar and look for a budget-friendly place, look no further. Located in a quiet side street, the Adikara has large rooms that would easily three tmes as much in the tourist area. Nice bed, good and clean semi-outdoor bathroom with strong and hot shower, nice towels, large fridge, kettle with tea and coffee, good Wifi, large TV set...

I stayed here almost a year ago. Although location is far away from Denpasar city center, but the villa environment is like visiting grandma at her big house. Surrounded by paddy field, river and local 'banjar', for all of us were nice and relaxed specially after exausted long journey from central java by own car. Two local people who helped us during our stays were ...

Outside of the villa with garden is an awful surrounding: - loud because of very busy street nearby, - dirty because of trash on sides of rice fields and settlement, locals disposing plastic trash to nearby river and - stinky and smokey because of wild private garbage incineration fires. It is far out so you will need transportation. Staff telling prices for several...

I have stayed at these villas 3 times now and have always found it to be very relaxing and the staff are very nice and friendly, always willing to help if you need something. The villa itself is really nicely configured, the garden is well maintained, the pool is clean, the bedroom is spacious and comfortable. No negatives about this place at all. Would highly recom...

We stayed at the Ninja Suite Villa in Denpasar for 1 week on our holiday in Bali. The villa was very comfortable and the surroundings were very relaxing. Cheap places to stay in Denpasar

Very nice place to stay! I arrived to Denpasar late night and also I was need to stay in Denpasar to get my Indian visa. This Hostel is near Indian consulate - 15 minutes by taxi. They have simple, but clean room. Staff is sweet and smiling. I forgot my flash card there and they wrote me email to let me know about it. I'm very grateful for this!

Seriously one of my favorite hostels I've been in quite a while. Staying here has helped me gain a whole new focus on my business and being surrounded by like-minded individuals has helped me a great deal. If you are looking to become a digital nomad or already one I suggest staying here. It's clean, comfy, updated, amazing wifi, and the people who work here are top no...

The suite room was spacious. Interior was simple yet elegant. I spent 4 nights with my family. Eventhough is located near main street (around 50m) where you can many restaurant but its location is somewhat hidden. A very good location for one good night sleep. A good hotel in the downtown area (Denpasar)

I was looking for the cheapest hotel I could find that was close to where I was staying which lead me to this hotel. We got in around 4pm. We were brought to our room and i was surprised with what I saw. The room was small and the walls were so dirty. The tv didn't show anything in English. So, nothing to watch. Air condition worked pretty good. The bedsheets looked ...

It was a very good city hotel, worth it, with cheap price. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is very spacious. And because of the location, it also has quiet surroundin...

This place is a good place to stay. But front office dont welcome well. High temper and intonation makes us so uncomfortable. After we were directed to our room, there is no communication. So we strugle hardly guessing what is our right , what we can do or cannot do, how to operate WIFI, kitchen set etc. Fortunately there is contact on whatsapp, and we were helped b...

I stayed only one night at this hotel. I landed in DenPasar in the evening and I wanted to take the bus to the north early morning. so this place was very reasonable. Simpel but clean rooms for cheap price (including a TV!!). Can hold a minibus in front of the entrance to go to Ubung bus station or walk to the main road. I got free coffee in the morning. But i heard fr...

Amazing hotel, great value for money. Would pay a lot more for quality like this back home. Great rooms, beds, AC, fridge, TV/cable etc. Beautiful pool, small restaurant available from lunchtime. Staff very friendly. Not much in nearby area, but if you hire a scooter or have a car it's no problem, 5-15 min drive to Denpasar, Seminyak, Kuta and airport.

We booked two night in this hotel but we only stayed for one night. The first night we came, there was no room for us. They said there was double booking with Agoda system. Luckily the owner was kind and responsible and we were transferred to another hotel, although it was a bit remote. The second night we got a room. It was nice and spacious. The only lack was the loc...

There was a problem with the booking so we ended up staying down the street at the villa. It was so amazing and beautiful and the honestly has access to the villa as well which has a beautiful pool and garden. The family is really sweet and welcoming. We had no problems at all. It is about 20 minutes from Canggu so you will need transportation. It is located in a small...

Only one problem the front wall of our room was ordinary glass which is fine if the other guests are quiet at night. We had some noisy guests , young people very loud at 1-30am. Otherwise Paica is in a very quiet area and nice room and bathroom. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Far from beach and Denpasar Centre for shopping though.

I stayed there for 3 days and I only spent less than 15 hours in the room because I traveled a lot. I got the sleeping quality cause I normally got tried when I reached the hotel and slept straight away. The room was nice (it should fit for 4 people instead of solo traveler just like me). The AC was stunning!!! I loved the cold as it was freaking hot in Bali at the tim...

Have been long journey by car from central java, arrived in denpasar an hour after newyear countdown. Exhausted n desperate following the Agoda googlemap to find the hotel. Stuck in dead narrow street in middle of kampong no-where. In raining n dark, tried to speak politely with a local guy, but he left suddenly like meeting a ghost. Many thanked to ibu Suci (one of h...

I had an absolutely incredible stay at Ganga. I was initially concerned at the slightly out of town location but my worries were alleviated when I saw the property in daylight. Absolutely stunning. i would not recommend this hotel to those who bring their family. it is a nice property and the room looks nice. however, when we arrived ( which was very late in the evening ) 2 of our rooms did not have blanket, the floor was dusty, and there were several times when the electricity doesnt work. not a very pleasant exp..
4-star hotels in Denpasar

This was definitely one of the best places I have ever stayed. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We checked in at 3am, no problem, we arrived from day tours at 8.30 and ordered dinner, no problem. We used the taxi service and booked it back to the room and it was about half the price of other taxi services. The room was so well laid out and so thoughtfully ...

I very rarely would ever give anywhere anything above an 8/10 but here deserves a 9. After 39 visits to Bali and many varied types of accommodation this is an absolute little gem. 3 distinctly different Villas...we had the single bedroom one, but looked at the others...a bit out of the way...but for that you get peace and quiet in exchange. Lovely gardens, ever attenti...

Located in Denpasar it sort of sits mid-way between places like Mount Batur in the North and Uluwatu in the south. Lots of 24-hour shops around for any supplies you need while travelling with kids. The place is nice, calm and clean. The staff is very friendly. Our little one enjoyed a lot running over grass or playing by the pool during breakfast hours. Rooms are big...

Although the place is not easy to find out, not similiar with other hotels. The place is quite and nice. Just a few rooms but size are big with good facilities such as kitchen. The owner of the residence is so kind and the people working there are nice too.
