A hidden gem”
At first I was a bit nervous about my stay at D'Sawah Villa because of the little reviews about this place. The pictures also looked a bit too good to be true. When I arrived at D'Sawah I immediately saw that all the pictures were correct and that the place just opened 2 months ago. The Villa is beautifully located between the rice fields and from your balcony you can see the ocean. At night you fall a sleep listening to the big waves, wonderfull! I went to D'Sawah on my own and despite of the little amount of tourist in this area and a lot of local people, I felt completely safe. The staff was very helpfull and recommended me some sightseeing with the scooter I could rent at the Villa. I'm definitely comming back again!

beautiful hotel surrounded by rice patties! ”
We absolutely loved this boutique hotel! Situated in the middle of two rice patties and a5 minute walk to the beach d'sawah villa offered us everything we needed to be comfortable. The rooms are syllables with lots of natural lighting and the patio above the rooms are perfect for watching the sunrise and sunset. It is a bit off the beaten path but I'd toy are looking to truly relax and get away from it all this is the place. The one downside is that the food did not seem to be very fresh but we only stayed one night here so it was okay.

Fantastic Villa, a superb secret hideaway in Bali”
I have been to Bali many times and stayed in many hotels and villas. This has got to be one of the best villas I have ever stayed at. The location is a bit far and not easy too find. The best way to get there is to rent a car and use your GPS apps (Google Maps). But it's worth the hassle. The hotel is located near Canggu, near Kedungu beach. It is far from being touristic. The hotel is new and built length-wise, sandwiched by beautiful rice fields. Each villa has two floors: bedroom and bathroom on the 1st floor and a gazebo on the upper floor with the fantastic view of rice fields on either sides and the sea on the horizon. A great area to spend a lazy afternoon or meditate! The beach is 2 minutes walk from the hotel. It's black sand beach, the sands were littered with rocks. Not an ideal beach to swim, but there are some pockets where your feet / knees won't be hurt by the rocks. The surf is gentle. There are a few tourists and surfers, but very few. There is a rock cliff separating two beaches that you can climb on too. There is a small shrine at the top. But you can sit down at the furthest tip to enjoy an amazing sunset. The hotel has a small restaurant and there is no restaurant nearby. But you can drive towards Canggu where you will find some decent places to eat. The hotel staffs are fantastic. They are very helpful and friendly, and they make you feel like home.

very very nice view, relax, quiet”
i was looking for a great escapade for the weekend and i was glad that i chose d'sawah! the room are very nice, each comes with gazebo on the second floor where you can see ocean on the right and mountain on the left.you can take a quick nap up here! surrounded by rice paddies all around, they did the right thing of replacing walls with large window. i posted photos of my stay in fb and the next days my colleagues were asking me where it was. they want to stay there also. i definitely coming back!

Amazing place to stay!”
We were stayed at D'Sawah Villa only one night. It's our last night in Bali. We wish we could stay there longer. If you could prepare hair dryer, that will be perfect.

Great relaxing and super comfortable stay!”
Amazing stay ever! At first I wasn't sure to stay at this villa, since there was no review at alll, but it turned out to be a very good decision. This is a brandnew villa, in a secluded location, which is great for relaxation and romance. But if u're looking for nightlife and shopping this one's definitely not for you, cause it's quite far from the hustle bustle place like kuta or seminyak. Thestaff is very attentive and nice. The pool is just in the right size. The weather's good, sunny with cool sea breeze. 5 minute walk to the beach, which is still not crowded, only several locals and some surfers. The room and facilities is very good for the price given. You can even hear the waves at night. Not so much restaurant around, but you can order lunch and dinner from the hotel, or drive around 10-15 minutes to find some local warung. In this case, better to rent a car or motorbike to move around.

calm, cozy, close to nature ”
the hotel is situated off the beaten path and its a bit of a hassle to get here. once arrived, we felt it was totally worth it though. the hotel in midst of rice paddies and from the roof top of our villa we could see the ocean (5 mins walk). The downside to the location is that there is nothing around (besides 2-3 warungs). Also, the staff could have been more helpful with directions. The walking directions to near by tanah lot temple they gave us were not accurate and we ended up lost (on a beautiful beach). But the villa-house itself is remarkably beautiful and the bed super comfy so it was worth the detour.

Lovely day and feeling comfort during my stay here”
During my stay was lovely...I felt very comfort, and really love the atmosfere arround me...The staff were also very friendly...The food was very good! Especially if the traveler really looking forward Baliness traditional food, such as Bebek Bali Betutu. Also this villa nearby Tanah Lot and there is also a beach nearby where we can walk there for only around 5 minutes.

Awesome accommodation with great views”
The place is new, nicely decorated with big rooms (we had the suite villa. We loved the large windows both upstairs and downstairs with amazing views over the pool, rice fields and ocean, for example bathtub was located upstairs in own area (between bedroom and bathroom) in front of a window with these views. Pool was really nice and private as there are not many rooms at D´Sawah, staff very attentive (u only need to give a call from your room and they were at your service) and the accommodation is really close to a beach (not the best for swimming or sunbathing but good surfing at times). This place is definitely one for a romantic holiday!

Great villa but bad food”
The villa was great, we were the only one’s staying at the resort so we got the villa which was located at the end of the row of villas. This one was fortunately not next to the construction work so it was quiet. However, the other villas were surrounded by construction work, taking away your privacy. The menu was cheap so we ordered room service. The food wasn’t great and we both ended up with food poisoning so I really don’t recommend ordering food here. There’s a restaurant next to the villas, the Fat Hog, which is more expensive but I would definitely spend more money on food instead of getting sick.

drama but will go back again. ”
the stuff was nice. but some of the rooms needs some work. my room air-condition peeking water, wet all my clothes. it was really worst experience ever for this . nice bathroom. my mom likes it. we booked the big suit, but agoda or the hotel booked the same villa out ,so they had to change the room for us. we booked for 1 night but mom liked it so we changed for 4 nights. we paid online but agoda or the hotel sold our villa out , we had to change the room type. they helped us to rent a car ,a dog hit our car , the car was damaged but the dog was ok, we had to pay 300 usd for the car. even though so many drama ,mom still liked it. very helpful.

Near Tanah lot and local surfing beach”
Rooms are ok, just having some problems with AC – maybe its just all the gaps (doors etc) where the cooled air is getting away. Bed is ok and big enough. Breakfast simple but good, but for food in bar very limited (also many items from simple menu are not available). The nearby walking distance beach is beautiful (hot dark sand), - some part of the day suitable for swimming and playing with the waives, but be careful – the ocean is strong in here and some parts are rocky. Hotel is quiet and swimming pool small. Nice rice fields around and beautiful view from upper deck of the villas. Could be a bit better design in terms of keeping privacy, but as it not crowded it is not a big concern. Very cool looking stone pebble under the shower at the end of the day is not comfortable to stand on. Nice and helpful staff.

Great villa near to nice and quiet Kedungu beach”
Great villa, quiet surrounding with the room just built right beside the green paddy field. It's a bit far off from town, but is just within a short walk away from the nice Kedungu beach. Recommended if you don't mind to stay a little bit far off town.

best hotel i've ever stayed in”
best hotel i have ever stayed in. we stayed here for our wedding anniversary & it was more romantic than our honeymoon. very quiet, beautiful views. you can hear & see the ocean from the room. great pool, learned to love swimming again. the beach is not for swimming, but surfing. beautiful black sand with waterfalls from rice fields. staff was fantastic. room service was nice. they specially made food for me since i am vegan (rare). very relaxed atmosphere. not touristy at all. i've already come back once & plan to come again & again. tv was fantastic. bathroom was really lux. i wish there was a curtain on the bathroom door though. water was hot. balcony was very relaxing. food was affordable & the presentation was nice. the staff pays attention to the little details that make you feel like you are in a spa. honestly, can't say enough good things!

Wonderful place to stay! ”
The moment we reached the villa, hubby and I fell in love with the place! It's located in between paddy fields and direct view of the ocean! The beach is just a minute away. Very nice place for couples to relax. We didn't leave the villa as it was so relaxing and good on its own!

Total relaxation in the middle of paddy field”
D´Sawah Villa is situated in the middle of paddy field and near to nice surf beach. Location is good for retreating in the countryside. Villa is comfortable with big windows and exotic view to paddy fields. On the top of the villa is private gazebo where breakfast and dinner can be served.
