No club access”

Reserved this double room club level for one night after our flight from Houston. Only 2 towels in the room for 4 people, hole where the fridge used to be, right across from the club room but it was closed, vending machines empty, and the air con in the room never dropped below 25 c. None of us could sleep. Breakfast was good. Happy hour was good and we received complimentary drinks & a tray of fried fish & chicken. Giving them a pass because of Covid, but club level wasn’t worth the money.

The staff in the little gift shop were amazing and offered great places to visit and also the shop had amazing homemade empanadas. This was a nice option if you didn't want to spend a lot on lunch or dinner. Very clean facility and most staff spoke enough english to get information. I would have some passable Spanish though to visit San Jose. I thought that bc it was a city that there would be more people that spoke English, and that is not the case.

The Crowne Plaza Hotel San Jose”

We stayed at the hotel on 5 & 6 June 2015 and although it was a pleasant experience, we feel we have stayed in 3 star hotels which have been just as good or better. I feel for the price of the rooms little touches like shower caps, tooth brushes and slippers would go a long way.

I alwasy use this hotel when i come to Costa Rica San Jose. Their gym is amazing big and equipped. Japanese restaurant Fuji is veny nice to have.

It has great fitness center. They have lots of working out machine. Also, Good Japanese restaurant is in the hotel. Room quality is very good. Good speed Wifi and kind staffs. Easy access to the Airport.

the exterior of the hotel needs updating; however, the rooms are clean and the beds very comfortable. hotel staff was very friendly), i will stay at a busier location next time. i wished there were more eateries and shops around.

We had a lovely stay. The room wasn't ready when we arrived and we were made very welcome by the staff. As soon as the room was ready, our luggage was brought to us promptly. The room was clean and comfortable. It is definitely a happy lodge for us. We will certainly come back again.

A great place to stay”

A nice hotel with a great location. Very easy to come with a public transportation. Clean and spacy rooms and a friendly staff. Great services [pool and sauna] A wide range of food and beverages with a reasonable price. If I visit San José again in near future, I know where to stay. I'll also recommend Crowne Plaza to my friends.

Nos gusto mucho el hotel, es elegante y sofisticado, pero a la vez en un ambiente tranquilo y acogedor. En sus habitaciones se puede descansar ya que no se escuchan ruidos de la calle o de otras habitaciones. A su vez posee gimnasio, piscina, un bonito bar y un lindo restaurante. Cordial atención.Yo lo recomiendo.
