Nice location with acceptable price”
The location is really great, just about 10 minutes walk (with luggage) from Oslo central station. Shopping area and restaurants are just nearby. The staffs speak English very well and are helpful too. The room was too small for opening two 29" luggage at the same time. However, it was clean and the bed was comfortable enough. The best thing of this hotel is that it offers free wifi and free coffee and tea. Recommend to those who are looking for a cozy and price-friendly hotel in Oslo.

Nice, clean, modern hotel with hip design”
Oslo is an expensive city. I originally booked us at a nearby hostel with a shared bathroom (which would have charged extra for sheets and towels) for the same price. But before the cancellation period expired, I decided to check here to see if there were any better place. We were so lucky to have found room at this hotel. (I guess there were some cancellation) We were pleasantly surprised by the condition. It may not look like much from the outside, but the inside was quite modern and hip, with cool designer layout and paint. The room was smallish but very clean with super comfortable bed and comforters. The free internet (4 hours) was fast. There is English programming on the LCD. The bathroom is modern with plenty of hot water. (I really enjoyed this as the outside was -18) Overall, I was very happy with this hotel and readily recommend it. Also, it's within walking distance to the central train station. We walked there to catch a train and it took us about 10 minutes.

Great hotel in convenient location”
Nice and clean "budget" hotel in central Oslo location, 7 minutes to the train station by feet. The rooms are not too big but comfortable in size, as is the bathroom w/ shower cabin and toilet. There will be no roomservice/cleaning during the stay, if you need extra towels you have to pay for them. When ordering breakfast it will be delivered to your door in a bag. The staff is very friendly and helpful with any questions. All in all I recommend a stay at the Comfort Hotel Xpress if you want to save a few pennies and still appreciate a nice hotel.

Very Modern Hotel in Good Location”
the compfort hotel xpress in oslo is the future of hotels. as you enter you are greeted by 4 computer terminals to log-in with. theres also a real person in case you get stuck. theres free wi-fi and free terminals in the foyer and a free coffee machine as well. the hotel is newly refubished and very modern in its decorating and fixtures. the rooms are small but the best use of the space is made with fold-out fixtures. the bathrooms are spacious, clean and modern. the location is great; only a short walk to the centre of town, but be aware that it is also very close to the june bomb blast so streets around it are closed to access while repairs are completed.

Everything's perfect!”
The hotel is very easy to find and 10-15 minutes walk from the Central Station. It is located in the centre of everything: shopping, food, night-life! The room is big enouph for a 3-days staying, without a closet but that was not a problem for us (there was some space for the luggage). All day free coffee and tea in the hotel and a 24/7 reception to advise you on whatever you might wanna know. Good prize hotel for Norway's standards and easy procedures for the payment. We will definately stay again in our next visit in Oslo!

Attractive, friendly & helpful staff.”
Small but comfortable and clean. They dont clean your room though so just keep it clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful and very very beautiful and attractive! The hotel is very modern and hip. its near bars and party places so it does get noisy at night and some of the party people do go in the lobby of the hotel to hang around. 2 different guys who arent staying in any of the hotel rooms came inside the hotel and tried to flirt with me when I was hanging in the lobby area friday/saturday night/early morning. The receptionist was kind enough to shoo the one guy away when I was getting annoyed. The lobby is really interesting there's games u can play. Then theres microwaves available to heat up your food which I found very convenient. Hotel is near public transportation, near party places, near shopping area, near restaurants and cafes. I enjoyed my stay here. Wifi is free too. Great place to stay with your friends!

Small, simple but nice and clean hotel. Great location. Only 5-10 minutes walk from train station. Many restaurants and bars nearby. OK for wheelchair users. Friendly staff. The price is good. I will surly use this hotel again at my next stay in Oslo.

The hotel is in a very good location from oslo central station, and easily within walking distance to the harbour and main tourist attractions. The hotel itself is very modern, nice tv, bed was comfy and the wifi connection is reliable. The bathrooms are heated and very modern. For OSLO prices, this hotel you cant go wrong. Only complaint i would have being an experinced traveller is that the rooms are not cleaned on a daily basis, and if you want extra pillows you are charged extra. Be warned if you are first time visitor to Norway, it is very very expensive

Near train station,the staff were friendly,the room was comfortable and clean,it provided hair dryer wifi and flat TV in room,you also could have free coffee and tea on first floor.But it a little far away the famous view points by walk,we didn't find any supermarkt near the hotel but lots of restaurants in this area.

The hotel is 5 min by walking from the train and bus station and 5 min from the city center. Rooms are comfortable and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Very good value for money. You have also free coffee and wireless internet.

Pleasant stay in a comfortable hotel.”
The price was right, the location was right (central), it was clean, the staff was friendly, I wish they were all like this for a budget friendly hotel. The area was quiet except for down the street they had a couple of night clubs open and a police force watching, but that was after midnight. Otherwise, one of the better places I've stayed over the years.

Reasonably alright place at good value”
Looking for the hotel took a while amid downtown Oslo but friendly locals helped tremendously. The place is pretty centrally located once we have found the place. No breakfast provided and the small beds in the twin room are some drawbacks, though we can't really complain for the price we paid. Overall, it is still pretty good value as far as we are concerned.

I was greatly surprise. The rooms are comfortable and the staffs are great. Friendly , vibrant and well spoken. For whatever it is it was unexpected. Modern, nice bathrooms, great internet, great free coffees, great led tv and comfortable beds and great sofas too.

clean room and excellant wifi connection ”
It was close from the central train station. Staff was very kind to help guest. If I compare with the other hotels in Northern Europe, Wifi connection was quite strong. And one more thing that I liked shower!!! Hotel staff deliever the breakfast in front of room door. It was handy cuz I could have breakfast in my room. One thing, a little bit uncomfortable was slow elevator. But it won't be too bad fact. :)

A decent hotel going for the backpacker crowd”
We had a good stay in this hotel, which clearly trying to attract a younger crowd, and mostly succeeding. Nice interior design in an otherwise dreary building and city block. However, just a five-minute walk to the main commercial street. Impeccably clean and a spotless wifi service make it a good value for money in expensive Oslo.
