"Absolutely loved this hotel! We booked quite late, and we weren't expecting to find anywhere decent and such short notice. But this hotel turned out to be the highlight of our Iris accommodation. If you're going anywhere near Killarney\Dingle\Tralee, stay here!"

"location located in tralee town centre, walking distance to the town park and main shops/ pubs/ restaurants. its location is brilliant. in fact, i would prefer to stay here rather than in other options in the outskirts of the town (like meadowlands hotel). room and common areas we booked a double room and it was quite big with a queen bed and a small table/ chair. clean and very comfortable. no noise. free wifi. the room was bright as it faced the street and seemed recently refurbished. there is no elevator so ask the staff to help you with your luggage if needed and consider other hotel if your mobility is reduced. common areas were a bit gloomy due to the overuse of wood in walls and furniture; the hotel is a historical building and it seems that the owners want to preserve the “ancient character” of these areas. parking parking. they do have a 3-4 free places at the rear of the hotel. if full, you can park on the street but city centre have parking meter rates. as others say, even though the parking might be a nuisance we would definitely stay again. breakfast the breakfast is complete and delicious, with different hot food options from cooked to order menu (full irish b’kfast and others). besides, on request and without notice, they cooked us a special lactose-free breakfast considering my partner's allergy. reception the attention at front desk is friendly and sincere, something usual in small towns. overall good value for money and location. excellent choice before or after visiting dingle peninsula. i would stay again. "We really enjoyed this hotel. It is an older property but quite elegant. The all day bar which appears to attract the locals from breakfast to close is great for conversation. The dustbin men are a bit noisy in the front rooms in the early morning, but that was the only fault and nothing to do with the hotel."
