"The dorms are very small, but this explains the low price I guess. There's a kitchen that you can use, but no real common area. Only 2 showers and toilets, for about 20 people. The staff is really helpful and kind. I think that the price is fair."

"The owners are very helpful- It was very reassuring to see that at Lavonna Port parking security had our name as did man with white board at Tortuguero when we got off boat. Promptly put our luggage in cart that they biked over to hotel and when we left at 5:30 am also transferred to boat dock. Owners arranged for us to have massage in front of ocean. Canal tour at 6-9 am was excellent - saw such beautiful wildlife. Loved staying in a hotel so close to where the locals live and go to school. Make sure to see the Montezuma birds and nests at the nearby School.. Best restaurant was Buddhas's - Miss Junies was over-rated - Chicken Dry night we ate there! "
