"Hotel is good for travelers with early or late flights to new Chitose Airport and free onsen access as well. Room is huge with full bathroom facilities. Service as usual was fantastic with all of the receptionists knowing how to speak and understand English language. Onsen is surprisingly good, its big and modern. It's not part of the hotel but airport instead. Closes at 10:45pm though, as the airport is closed at around 11pm. Overall a fantastic place to stay at but note that it's a little pricer than other hotels in Sapporo. But definitely a good option for early/late flights."

"The hotel location is superb. The room although a little but small but as a typical japan. This would consider average. However, the view is fabulous ( try all 4 sides and still like everyside) The service staff has no flaw here. I can only think of few other hotels that has a more impressive service than this one (those are not in hokkaido and also come with ridiculously expensive price). The breakfast is average to 5 stars level The hot spring is nice consider this in the middle of sapporo (of couse you can not compare with ryokan that located in natural onsen area) Overall, it is the best hotel in sapporo in term of quality, No matter you are business man, couple, or family. "The hotel is less than 5 mins walk to Sapporo station, but only you get your direction right. From Sapporo JR station always head toward the north exit where the university direction and turn Right after exit station main entrance, walk till you see the first traffic light and cross over, from your Right walk till the end of the building and turn Left . The hotel is just few step away. The main entrance is just next to "Sauce" restaurant. The hotel staff are friendly, they always greet you when ever they see you. The hotel have a coffee machine at the lobby area and is free. They also have paying washing machine at the lobby , so you not need to bring to much clothing and can stuff more goodies into your luggage. I think JR East Hotel should provide a more clear direction from Sapporo station to their place, as my first day arrival at Sapporo station, I spend 30 min to look for it as Sapporo station is a very big place and with many Exit."

"It was our first trip to Sapporo and also our first family trip (with 2 year old boy) to Japan. Thus, we would like to choose a family-friendly hotel that is near to the city. Vessel Hotel Campana Susukino really did not disappoint us. This is a new hotel opened in June 2019 located near Tanukikoji. The hotel is designed with wooden interiors inspired by the nature of Hokkaido. It made us very calm and comfortable. The power points and USB charger in the room are definitely well thought of. In addition, the buffet breakfast has a combination of Japanese seafood and western delicacies! It really raised the bar of hotel breakfast in Japan! Lastly, the public bath is a bonus to us. Many thanks to the kind hotel staffs that always made us feel like home! We are loving this hotel so much!!!"

"I'm so happy for choosing this hotel in Sapporo. Travelling as a group of five, so the connecting room was great. The hotel is still new, so you can expect that it is very clean. The location is great, in the middle of tanukikoji. Access from the metro station is easy, just follow the instruction in the hotel website, and you won't get lost. Staff were all nice and helpful. Remember to visit the second floor for the bath, massage chair (coin operated), and great choice of selection of beverages in their vending machine. "

"The best part is breakfast, fabulous, and generous.. While staff members are friendly however only a few were capable of speaking English a little . I was wondring if the hotel management expects foreigners to speak Japanese, rather than the hotel staff welcoming their guests in English, What kind of strategy is it? I could have received more tips from the staff about Sapporo travel if they had some command in English. I also wondered how the hotel staff would do when they would expect more guests traveling from all over the world during the next Olympics. Room was a bit bigger, clean, but no safe box in my room. All in all, I had a restful stay. "

"Located right outside exit 3 of Honsui Susukino metro station, linked to the covered underground mall Pole Town (which stretches from Susukino area to Sapporo Station). Walking distance to Nijo market, Don Quiote and Daiso. Many evening food options in the susukino area, very lively after the closure of malls at 8-9pm. Convenience shop on ground level of hotel. Hotel has vending machines, laundry, trousers press, hair salon on ground floor. Rooms are more spacious than newer hotels by Japan standards, this hotel is older than neighboring Mercure or Daiwa Roynet. It is clean and pleasant in the rooms, beds are good, pillow is excellent in terms of neck support (easily the best pillow i have had in hotels). Every room has a bath tub for a soak and japanese styled bathroom. One down side is that the wall in the shower area is rather moist and stained and probably should be changed soon. "
