Prague hotels & places to stay

My expectations for the hotel were less optimistic when I was booking the room: low price which hotel offered at Agoda looked a bit suspicious for the Prague zone 1. But when I arrived to the hotel and saw the facilities, I understood it was a really good deal! Very convent location, nice romantic interior of the hotel and of the room, facilities to cook directly in the room, big bed, great choice of a bar in the room, very friendly, helpful and well-English-speaking stuffs, good breakfast menu - varieties of choice. The only minor disadvantage - very weak signal of wi-fi in the room (at least at the 5th floor where I had my room). I recommend this hotel as for single travelers as for couples.

Fusion is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. The dorms are more like stripped down four star hotel rooms, with two bathrooms per 6 bed room. The rooms, including linens, were cleaned daily. Everything was new, modern, and sparking. The staff, especially Jakob at the reception, were above and beyond the call of duty, going out of their way to make sure to accommodate your every need. On the down-side, the bunk design was awkward, with two sets lying side by side. Still, they were comfortable sturdy. Also, the locker I was assigned was broken. Lastly, which isn't really the hostel's fault, the place was overrun by drunken Dutch and German teenage boys, and the rooms on the first floor could hear the music from the bar. But, hey, this is Prague in high season...shame on you if you're in bed before sunrise anyway ;-)

The hotel was stunning we had a fabulous room right opposite the astrological clock in the Old Town Square our 6 year old and 8 year old loved sitting on the window sill watching the clock, they never tired of the skeleton ringing the bell, and the apostles moving past the open doors. The room was extremely large, with a very large bathroom, the room was spotless, the hotel staff were extremely knowledgeable and couldn't do more to help. The breakfast was enjoyable with a large choice. OK for vegetarians, as eggs, salt, cheese, bread, yoghurts etc... but my vegan friends would find it limiting. Truly a wonderful hotel in a stunning location, we can't wait to return. Lots to do with the children .... Prague Zoo fantastic, horse and carriage ride, watching buskers on Charles Bridge, walk up to the top of the clock tower for a birds eye view of the city, The original black light theatre, the Marionette theatre .... so much more to explore, will return again soon, hopefully.

the rooms are absolutle clean and so neat and the bathrooms are also extremely clean and filled with the nicest smelling product to use, everything is in the room and the overall experience is the best I have had in Prague, the breakfast is yummy and the quality is above what I expected, clean, food is fresh. the staff is extremely friendly and helpful - love this hotel will def use it again if travelling to Prague..... AMAZING HOTEL - 10 OUT OF 10

This hotel was beautiful, just what i was expecting of a typical czech hotel. we had a beautiful view out over the river. But and this is a big BUT, the hotel is situated on the busy main road, going through Prague, with trams trundeling along. Also its opposite the largest european disco ( so it said) so if your very sensitive to noise this is not the place for you. we heard no music only the people queuing to go into the disco and coming out again. It didnt bother us at all. But because of this i only gave 3 stars for the location.

The reception was very professional and pleasant. My husband had an injury to his ankle and the staff directed us to a hospital across the street. We were able to extend our stay for 4 days without a problem. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of offerings ranging from bacon and eggs, cereal, cold cuts, cheese and fruit. The concierge provided a daily newsletter of recommended activities taking place in Prague. Rooms have wifi without additional fees. Again, the staff was exceptional and the location of the hotel was within walking distance of many of the popular sites and restaurants.

I had one of the best experience staying in a hotel anywhere here, and I've literally traveled to almost every corner of the globe. I arrived early and not expected to be able to check in at 8.30 in the morning so I just walked in just to ask to leave my luggage at the concierge and, to my surprise, the reception was very helpful and found me a room right then and there! So I could take a shower and had a little nap after 10 hours flight, I was impressed. On my last day my flight was leaving at 8 p.m. so I just dropped by the reception and ask if they could let me check out a little late and, again, they work it out for me so I could check out at 3.30 in the afternoon! This was, by far and large, the friendliest hotel staff I've met. Granted, the room was not as spacious as others I've stayed in but it was more than adequate and the hardwares were a little dated compare to the more modern hotels but you'll do just fine staying here. The best part of this Hilton Old Town is their access to all mode of public transportation which is "A Must" for exploring Prague, Namesti Republicky Metro Station is right down the corner and it takes 2 minute walk! Train Station is across the street although not the main station(HL.N) but if you just want to go to other provinces in Czech Republic it'll serve you well. Tram stop is also right across the street both front and back of the hotel. You will have no trouble getting around Prague that;s for sure. If you stay in old town area it could take you quite a while to get to public transportation since there is no metro or tram run through the area. Also, it only takes leisurely ten minutes to walk from the hotel to Old Town Square, and 20 Minutes to Charles Bridge. I would certainly stay here again on my next trip to Prague!

This is a very nice, comfortable, albeit relatively small hotel located right in the middle of (the old part of) Prague. Only stayed for a night unfortunately, given that we were treated so well and got a bigger room than anticipated. Only one drawback: the hotel is nestled in a part of Prague that is hard to reach by car. The staff handled our car really well once we reached the entrance by foot, but be prepared to pay extra.

Egor at the front desk was so helpful and kind ; his assistance made for a memorable first visit to Prague. The hotel is clean , comfortable and beautifully decorated. It is about a 15 minute walk from the train station. The hotel has an arrangement with a transportation service which we utilized to take us to the station upon departure . we can also recommend this service.

What a wonderful hotel. Staff were amazing and helpful. In particular the porter/concierge named Roman! Rooms were on the small side, however this was far outweighed by the clenliness and terrific location. Travelling with young children it is important to us to be in family friendly and safe part of big cities, this was both. Breakfast were excellent! The ONLY negative i could come up with was the sour staff member in the hotel "monaco bar" lounge. Very unfriendly and was an effort for her to get off of youtube to serve you. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and intend to return.

The location is middle of the old town. It is very busy area. But in our room is very very quiet. The Charles bridge is only few min, and to the old town hall is also few min from the hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. Especially, a girl who speaks Japanese was very polite and nice. Although we had trouble with hot water every night, she helped us very quickly. And of course, one of the best thing is it's good value for money! We are very happy that we chose this hotel, and we definitely want to come back to stay, if we visit to Prague again!

The Savic Hotel located in a best location near Old Town Square. When you arrived, they will serve you with a welcome drink which very nice. This hotel is in very good size and there are total 4 floors. Room are nice in decoration, cozy and very clean too. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great, I would recommend. I have been staying in three difference hotels in Prague and this is the nicest hotel for it style, convenience and value.

Arrived in Prague and told by pre booked driver we had chosen one of best hotels. We arrived at a beautiful looking 1517 building with a warm welcome and decor that was so beautiful you have to see it. Appropriate for the age but so grand. One of our relations on FB replied saying it looked like the hotel was made of gold. Slept fantastic and breakfast was 100% even as a fussy vegetarian myself I was happy each morning. My wife who is not just did not know where to start and you can even order waffles with cream and strawberry for free. Ah chocolate every day on the bed and lovely girl with basket knocking on the door eat day asking if you need more coffee or bar topping up. I could go on, but in short you just have to visit this hotel. We only stay in 5* hotels and will return to this one.

We went for my partners birthday. Well what a fabulous hotel. They had a pianist at breakfast time, they played happy birthday and gave him a chocolate cake, prosecco on arrival at breakfast for all, chocolates in the room and a card. The breakfast was amazing, every type of food possibly, waffle maker, pancake maker, egg bar, hot and cold food, cakes, bread yoghurts etc. Hotel is amazing, total luxury, slippers, dressing gowns. Very good price. The Beer Spa was amazing too. What a fantastic place. 10 minutes from Charles Bridge very central. Will deffo recommend and go back. Best hotel we stayed in in a long time. We enjoyed staying at this beautiful hotel. The hotel is a easy 15 minute walk from the central station and 5 minutes from Wenceslas Square. The check in was fast and the manager was very helpful. I was a little disappointed in the size of our room, classic room, however we spent all our time exploring the city, and the bed was so comfortable and the bathroom lovely. The hotel is in a side street and our room overlooked the courtyard. It was very quiet, perfect for a good nights sleep. The breakfast was good value and a wonderful way to start the day. There was a very good selection of food, all fresh and tasty and delicious pastries. We would definitely stay again if we returned to Prague.

We were pleasantly surprised by the standard of this hotel for the money. Rooms were pleasant and very clean with decent size flat screen TV .The breakfast included full english with cereals toast etc. I really cannot fault this hotel and would definitely stay there again if I return to Prague. Prague is a beautiful city packed with historic and architectural features. The churches are stunning as is Prague Castle. The town is buzzing with life. If there is a down side it's the price of food & drinks in the tourist areas - among the most expensive I have found in Europe, however get out of the main squares and the prices are much more sensible. We were lucky enough to take in a concert in one of the many venues - a 'Romantic Classics' concert which was of a very high standard and a good selection of music.

We are satisfied. First we want to cancel it after read some bad reviews i.e. noisy, difficult to find. far. dirty room. but when we went into the hotel we started to refuse the bad thoughts because everything were looked nice (the building. friendly staffs) But we still keep the 50% bad reviews in mind since we will check into our room late in the afternoon. Its completely different when we went into our room... clean. comfortable. just like at home. Big one.. (as that was for 3 persons). The wall. furniture and bathroom's staffs are good indeed. The breakfast is very good. We are so wonder why the people said so meanwhile all the thing are looked quite well. For transportation is no doubt. we just need walk a few minutes, to central is only 3 stops.. to train station is just in front of eyes that is only one stop. Bus to the airport... Castle Prague are easy. You will receive a piece of paper from the front desk officer & all your need are there.

We took this room with discound 48% and that is the only reason because of I can't be total dissapointed. 1. We took this hotel because of praking for our car. During the reservation there was no note about parking, just information that this hotel have a parking. In all other hotels there was a notification about price for parking. After we came they said to us we have to pay about 10€ for 1 day. Not cheap and would be nice to say that during the reservation. 2. Personal during check-in wasn't in a good mood. You can see that they don't enjoy at work. 3. We asked for a room at higher floor. We got a room at 18th floor. View was nice but temperature was terrible. In room was no clima and to make everything worse you can't open you window to make a room a littlebit colder at night. That was total catastrophe, no fresh air at all and about 30+ °C. 4. The room is not so big, just one table and one small chair, but still was so much dust on them. Wasnt cleaned for a while. I paid 31€ and was just 1 night and that was the only reason because I stayed quite. But if you pay full price (79€) for that room you can kill yourself because doesn't worth it. Big and nice but overpriced and not so comfortable for staying few night and more. 😫

Good location close to the riverside for jogging/walking and half way between Prague 1 (old town) and Prague 2 (new town). The local restaurant at the corner is a gem and the must visit U Kalicha (Svejk restaurant) is 600 meters walk. Late night shop at the corner too. A perfect place for us. Might be the quietest hotel ever, not even the ventilation hum. Might be hot in the summer though.

The hotel has a perfect location. It's right off the river and 2-minutes walking distance to the Charles bridge.We were impressed by the stylish and traditional decorations in the room, which gives a very different experience from those modern chain hotels. The staff are very nice. They offered us with thoughtful recommendations on trip routes in Prague, and booked concernt tickets, taxis, and reserved restaurants for us. We will come back to the hotel again if we visit Prague next time.Above all, it's a good value. We received a decent discount by booking via Agoda, and it was roughly the same price as some two star hotels.

Conveniently located at a 10 min walk from the bus station and a 7 min walk from the nearest metro station, this hotel is at the city centre but far from it in terms of the bustle and noise that you normally associate with such locations. All the major shopping avenues, tourist attractions and public transport hubs ( metro, tram, bus) are nearby within a walking time of 10 mins Added to this is the excellent service quality by the staff and great breakfast spread and all together it made our stay in Prague a very memorable one

We were staying at Miss Sophie's hotel with our parents. Each room was designed differently and it was amazing! The staff prepared in every room a surprise box with champagne and some snacks ( without extra charge), it was a very nice surprise. I've never seen such a special design in the hotels, amazing! We came for our wedding to Prague and this hotel was such a perfect choice. The day before our wedding we've received a beautiful flowers bucket, I did not stop to smile for the hole day. Every day the staff leaved in our room hand write notes, it made us feel very special, thank you for that. Food: every morning we eat branch in the Miss Sophie's hostel, allocated just in front of the hotel, it was really delicious. It's really recommend to have the breakfast there if you are staying in this hotel. The staff is very friendly and very helpful, they helped us to reserve place in some restaurants and to order a reliable taxi ( be careful with taxi drivers in Prague). Room: beside the special design the bed is very comfortable, very nice bathroom and very clean! Oh, almost forgot, a lot of pillows! It has a living room, a walk in wardrobe, a huge bath, a small kitchen and a small dining area : its juz like a studio apt in Singapore. was really comfortable! some rooms oversees the courtyard - beautiful. Kempinski Hotel a nice place to stay and its really near to the square ~ Prague is beautiful
