"We were in awe the moment we check in. We opted for the Tongging deluxe double room and it was well worth every cent even though other places would cost us only a fraction of it. The view from the resort and especially our room was simply breathtaking! This was the first time in years that we actually took the trouble to wake up at 5am to watch the sunset from our room. My friends thought I was in Austria when I sent them photos! The staff provided such sincere and attentive hospitality that we felt very much pampered and totally at ease. Security there was also well managed. There was a myriad of activities at the resort. Our favorites are traditional archery, finding our way around a labyrinth and touring the agrofarm as well as the flower nursery. We also felt very close to nature. We had an indoor jacuzzi and the water supply was directly from the local spring! Lastly, food was not too bad. Check out their BBQ lobsters, one of our best meals in Medan! "
