"Despite the rather grand common areas, the hotel is 3* at best. The hotel seems to be cutting corners. No coffee maker, complimentary water, face tissue paper, clock in the room. Breakfast buffet was disappointing. The same 6 or so "hot" dishes every single morning, and they were always cold and not very good. No croissants, only rather tired white bread and previous day dinner rolls. Fruit was nice though. There good points: hot water in shower and a powerful hair dryer. Service was very slow in the dining room for the one dinner I had there. Food was not good. Check your bill carefully. The young know-it-all at reception insisted on charging me 19% room tax, even though it was not applicable to me as clearly indicated by my passport entry stamp. Also, an "insurance" levy was tacked on per night, even though I was not asked if I wanted it when I checked in. I would not stay at this hotel again."

"The location and cleanliness of this hotel was perfect. Everyone on staff was courteous, professional and pleasant. Maria at the front desk was very helpful and a pleasure to meet. The room I had was the most basic and had a great view, great facilities and everything I needed. This is the only hotel I will stay when in Medellin! "

"Poor service. Took one hour for room service every time. Requested my room cleaned 3 hours later still not clean No visitor policy! Why open a hotel in the middle of the nightlife area and not allow visitors. Not every woman is a prostitute. Drink prices at their bar are outrageous! More expensive than Las Vegas. Didn’t realize I booked an XS room, could barley sit on toilet, worse than on an airplane Food is good just slow. Tried to order room service after I got back from the bar and was told they couldn’t make me pancakes even though it says it’s available on menu."

"my friend and i really enjoyed the hotel. it's modern and chic - with fantastic artwork. the best part is that the hotel is a short walk from parque llares (although note that a nightclub is across the street. the breakfast was better than i expected with eggs cooked to order, fresh fruit, cured meats, etc. also, easy access to the internet in the business center. also, the concierges did a great job with arranging day trips and providing restaurant recommendations. the only concern i would have is if someone is a bit claustrophobic. the room's windows face an interior courtyard so the lighting is a bit low.
