"We were there for just one night. Location and pool were great, but our shower did not work. We only had hot water, extremely hot water. We mentioned this to the desk staff shortly after arrival, and despite saying the right things, nothing was done to rectify the problem. The next day I spoke to Camilo the manager and got no satisfaction. All he said was most showers work fine, and he hoped I would come back again in the future. At any time a large hotel may have a problem with a particular room. I totally get that. What separates the good hotels from the bad, is how they handle a problem when one arises. I travel to Medellin annually, but there is no way I will ever return here. "

"Everything was a five star, especially the staff. However, the very loud music from the bar below until all hours of the night/morning was so overpowering that my earplugs and a pillow over my head did little to allow a good night's sleep. The hotel might think of buying them out of business. Salsa is not my favorite anymore."
