Medellín hotels & accommodations

Very nice hotel. Nice rooms clean modern and very comfortable Beds were great big rooms Nice area close to everything only draw back is Medellin is hilly so from the location some people would have difficulty walking to the restaurant area or malls but cabs are cheap The area seemed very safe and friendly beautiful city

Medellin Colombia, is mixture of New York City marry to Miami Latin spirit..you must stay at the Inntu Hotel it a 21 Central modern designs hotel and helpful staff it will surprise your experiences it has past all Panama City Pamama infrastructure hotel ..this hotel is the. Hot spot of Columbia it will best Hotel in Medellin..

My room was spacious, modern and clean, and had a beautiful view of Medellin...the perfect place to spend my 50th birthday weekend. I enjoyed the luxurious accommodations -- equipped with both a shower and an amazing bathtub -- and soft bedding...All of this, plus breakfast, for a very reasonable price. The location on a quiet side street in the Poblado area made for a...

This hotel is perfect for single travelers and apparently couples/families.I am here now and have seen both staying here.Close to parque Lleras and public transportation.Staff speaks English and have helped me in any of my requests.Jacuzzi on the roof with great views. I just booked more nights here.

Excellent. My stay at the Poblado Plaza Medellin exceeded my expectations. The staff was super friendly and they were there to take care of all my needs. The room was clean, large, had a living area with sofa and coffee table. The bathroom was clean and modern. Breakfast was served in a beautiful garden setting, which was very relaxing. The Poblado area of Medellin i...

Excellent hotel/apartment well equipped. Friendly and attentive staff. Ideal location close to two major shopping malls - walk distance. One located on the other side of the street. Silent neighbour hood with great restaurant's in the area. Definitely worth a try.

We enjoyed our stay at the Park 10. It is in a very good location in close walking distance from some great restaurants (eg, Carmen). The staff were all very nice and went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. I feel the hotel is a little dated and the rooms are probably due for a refurbishment but overall a nice stay.

Everything great, especially great staff. Only two things to criticize: 1.the breakfast (especially the bread/toast) is not at the same level as the hotel is. 2. The room with terrase has a TV but you can not watch because the bed is not in front of the TV, and the TV is not movable

the hotel is extremely clean, look as if its just been built. great location in a very safe & close to main cafes & restaurants near by. the downside perhaps, during friday & saturday evening, it can be noisy. though that didnt bother me. highly recommend it! btw, the metro to the centre is one block away. again, its extremely safe & clean. best way to travel around me...

During my visit to Medellin, I stayed at the Binn Hotel for just under two weeks. The hotel is quite central to most attractions and hot spots. Part of my package was free breakfast and wifi which made this a really great deal. Overall it's a very new hotel and very clean. It's well staffed so response times are great for room service, cleaning and over maintenance of...

The hostel was great & as a solo traveller very social. The hostel organised a lot of free activities & a few paid activities. The rooftop bar has great views of Medellin & the bar/restaurant area downstairs is great as well. I loved the back outdoor area & open plan kitchen. Slightly on the more expensive side but the facilities & activities make up for it. Would reco...

I went on vacations for one week with my husband and stayed at the Porton Hotel. We had a great experience. Hotel location is excellent, close to the Santa Fe and Oviedo malls and the metro station. There are restaurants close to this hotel and a supermarket in both malls. The staff (specially the baggers) helps you to make the most of your vacations. They gave us good...

great location, safe neighbourhood (unless you are a stupid, drunk tourist). Lots of opportunities for going out, bars, restaurants (from cheap to relatively expensive), etc. Basic, but OK breakfast on roof terrace (= also smoking area). Room with 3 moveable ventilators. TV with lots of channels. Good bed, at least for me (70 kg). Strong, hot shower. Bathroom lacks she...

the incontinental provided a welcome oasis after 2 weeks of backpacking round colombia. we received a great rate on the room and despite being slightly put off by the exterior of the hotel, as soon as we entered the building, we knew we were going to get everything we had paid for. the staff were courteous and friendly as well as having a sense of humour. our room w...

i staid here a year ago and wanted to come back; however my business partners living in the more expensive region of medellin told me that it was not safe in nutibara and moreover, it would be complicated to communicate with them in the evenings. the last information convinced me to rent a room in such an international, all over the world the same, hotel. boring! after ...

We stayed here for 7days. Pretty good location in the middle of El Poblado. Nothing to complain about the Hotel at all. Very good breakfast (4 different options to choose) for this category of hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Sometimes too bad Wifi connection in the room.
Cheap places to stay in Medellín

Hostel was close to where we wanted to be. Rooms were cleaned daily and the staff were friendly. The shared bathroom we had on the third floor has a broken shower head so we had to shower from the open pipe from the wall. At the time we showered there was no hot water. On our last night we stayed in a private room with our own bathroom and the hot water ran out quickl...

I was a bit disturbing when I arrived at Medellín but the staff of this hôtel was very helpfull and charming that maked my stay way more confortable and enjoying You cannot get women more welcoming and cosy at the reception desk... it was a really great and inexpected experience I recomend for sure ! !!

The purple monkey is a pretty good hostel, while it doesn't excell in much neither does it lack in anything. The bar area is nice and some of the staff are really good, pleasent and helpful. The breakfast is average and the rooms can be hot depending on where you are in relation to the fans. The first night there I was unknowingly in the wrong bed and as a result when ...

Enjoyed our stay here. The staff are so friendly and helpful and some speak a little english. Room was clean and modern with large windows and private bathroom (have to run shower for ages to get hot water). Got wifi in the room. Free use of jacuzzi on top floor (need to book a time) with nice views of the city. Location is not central but taxi was not over $4 to get i...

This had to have been the worst hotel in have ever been to. The room was the size of a jail cell and the staff knew absolutely no English. They were very rude and not helpful even when translator was used. The stench of the hotel was horrific. If you are in dire need of a hotel I would use this as a last resort next to sleeping outside.

This hotel located on far South side of Medellin across from farmers market. It is undergoing new renovation and the room had a nice 42 inch flat screen and was clean to a tee...Has lift no stairs TY...Taxi out front easy access to most of city and metro rail..Overall great value..

We really enjoyed our stay at Mayorca; the couple who runs it are caring and treat you like family. They always had time to sit down and chat, and practice Spanish with. Stella makes excellent breakfasts and goes out of her way to make sure you enjoy Medellin. When we visit the city in the future, we will stay with them again.

The place was clean and the location was great. Located right by the metro and Carrera 70 which has plenty of restaurants to choose from. I enjoyed visiting with the staff, we enjoyed a great laugh together about how Hillary Clinton is an idiot and should be in prison.

Jorge, the receptionist was every so charming, helpful and sweet. The hotel was more a hostel. Very basic facilities, depending on what you’re expecting or looking for. Wifi was up and down. Breakfast had limited choice, simple and good enough. Bathrooms didn’t have ventilation. The establishment was very basic, simple but very well located in El Poblado. A great leafy...

Where to start? Strike one: unfriendly staff Strike two: lamp didn't work in room Strike three: had a music control knob in the room but it stopped working Strike four:the only reason I booked the room was for the 2 person spa Jacuzzi and the jets didn't work Strike five: the shower head wasn't working properly and sprayed outside the shower Strike six: the provided ...

I really recommend Hotel Asturias. Its a rather cheap hotel and it is very clean, and modern. It is in a real good area (Laureles) great restaurants and shops just around ., easy to walk everywhere and safe area. The staff at the hotel is very kind and helpful in every way they can. SpecialThanks to Catherine who answered all my questions and helped with airport tr...

my friend and i really enjoyed the hotel. it's modern and chic - with fantastic artwork. the best part is that the hotel is a short walk from parque llares (although note that a nightclub is across the street. the breakfast was better than i expected with eggs cooked to order, fresh fruit, cured meats, etc. also, easy access to the internet in the business center. ...

this is a very nice and modern hotel. room was clean and well-equiped. it is located in a very pleasant and safe neighbourhood of medellin with shopping malls and night life not very far. i really enjoyed my stay in tis hotel. the breakfast is included as well as a light dinner which is the habits in colombia. personnaly i found it too light and not to my liking... als...

The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the metro and handy for the safe El Poblado area. A metro trip into central Medellin takes about 10 minutes. Clean and well run place with good sized rooms. The nearby Calle 10 area is full of bars and snack places that can get loud at weekends nights..

Despite the rather grand common areas, the hotel is 3* at best. The hotel seems to be cutting corners. No coffee maker, complimentary water, face tissue paper, clock in the room. Breakfast buffet was disappointing. The same 6 or so "hot" dishes every single morning, and they were always cold and not very good. No croissants, only rather tired white bread and previou...

Hotel was fine. Breakfast could have been better, but wasn't bad. The worst thing about the stay was not the staff, but the guests who were rude. Apparently, staying at a nice hotel allows you to be a snob and treat people like dirt. The only other negative was that we had to ask to have the sheets changed, as they did not do so the first night.

stayed with friends, i got the aqua room (room with jacuzzi on the balcony). excellent room for mini parties, with a great size balcony. hotel located in pablado - most safest neighborhood in medellin, particularly in zona rosa - center of nightlife of medellin. in zona rosa lots of restaurants, clubs, disco, bars, etc... ;) room service 24 hours with waiting tim...

I was drunk when I booked this hotel. Even though they didn't get the Agoda confirmation when I went to check in they were still more than happy to help me out. I ended up extending a day with no issues as well. The staff here were amazing. The food from the restaurant was pretty decent as well, and a good deal for the price. My room had a balcony (not sure if they all...

Horrible horrible place! Food is shocking. It's completely unsafe. Hot and dirty. And the list could go on.
it is a beautiful city and completely safe. Too bad they get the bad rap about being dangerous and a drug city.
The people of Medellin are some of the friendliest I have met in all my travels around the world. I went there not knowing exactly what to expect, but left with only good things to say about the people.
To be honest, I was told the city was dangerous. However, I found it very friendly and very enjoyable.
As Medellin was city of the year in 2013 i had high hopes. I did not see much to impress me, however i met some people who enjoyed Medellin, so it is best to do some research and choose a good location
I am working in Colombia for six months. I live in La Ceja, a small town near Medellin and I always enjoy when I have to come into the city.
