Everybody was really nice and helpful. The hotel is perfectly located in a nice area of Medellin and makes it really easy to go to the metro and travel around the city. The bed was small but besides that the room and its decoration was awesome.

Hotel Dorado La 70 was an amazing introduction to Medellin. The neighborhood is awesome, with tons of restaurants and bars. Breakfast was fantastic. Views from our balcony and rooftop were stunning. Wifi is great (80 mbps in our room).

We enjoyed our stay at the Park 10. It is in a very good location in close walking distance from some great restaurants (eg, Carmen). The staff were all very nice and went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. I feel the hotel is a little dated and the rooms are probably due for a refurbishment but overall a nice stay.
Everything great, especially great staff. Only two things to criticize: 1.the breakfast (especially the bread/toast) is not at the same level as the hotel is. 2. The room with terrase has a TV but you can not watch because the bed is not in front of the TV, and the TV is not movable

I was seeking for hotels where pets are allowed... but no privat bathrioms is a no go. especialy when traveling with cat is cleanness very important and a bathroom in the room needed... cats are terfified by traveling... a bath must be accessable without opening a door. This had to have been the worst hotel in have ever been to. The room was the size of a jail cell and the staff knew absolutely no English. They were very rude and not helpful even when translator was used. The stench of the hotel was horrific. If you are in dire need of a hotel I would use this as a last resort next to sleeping outside.

If you want a hotel that's located in a nice pleasant residential area...and where it's not full of guests, this is the place! Not near the subway station but the area offers a good variety of eating spots and a better feel than Poblado's.
A nice clean spacious room. I slept pretty good here. The only negative was no room safe and no refrigerator.
Everything was a five star, especially the staff. However, the very loud music from the bar below until all hours of the night/morning was so overpowering that my earplugs and a pillow over my head did little to allow a good night's sleep. The hotel might think of buying them out of business. Salsa is not my favorite anymore.

The people of Medellin are some of the friendliest I have met in all my travels around the world. I went there not knowing exactly what to expect, but left with only good things to say about the people.
To be honest, I was told the city was dangerous. However, I found it very friendly and very enjoyable.
As Medellin was city of the year in 2013 i had high hopes. I did not see much to impress me, however i met some people who enjoyed Medellin, so it is best to do some research and choose a good location
