Everything was perfect in Interlaken Hotel! Just rated 4 stars on value for money as overall price is high in Switzerland. Staffs were very kind, breakfast was good, shared shower was very clean and the hotel restaurant at ground floor was great. We were touched when the staff arranged to prepare breakfast bag to go when we said that we need to check out early in the next morning. :) One thing to note is that the elevator only goes upto 4th floor, so if you booked 5th floor (with shared bathroom), you should use stairs from 4th floor. Overall, very satisfied stay and I will definitely book this hotel if I visit Interlaken again.

the hotel is about 5 minutes walk from train station and located next to the oldest village in the town. the hotel room was very clean, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, balcony at every room with nice scenery. the hotel owner was very friendly, helped us with the luggage. free breakfast was simple but delicious, perhaps they could add more choices of food would be greater. overall, my family and i had the best stay at this hotel during our europe trip. best value with reasonable price in switzerland. absolutely recommend to everyone.

Stayed 3 nights during June summer in this hotel. It is about 10-15 mins walk from Interlaken OST station. There is a bus which you can take for just one stop but the frequency is 30 mins interval. Room is a little small but has free minibar for the first day which is recommendable. The hotel has no air con so the room gets a little stuffy and hot every time we return from outside. They provide a fan but sometimes not sufficient during summer weather! If you cannot sleep without air con then this is not the hotel for you. Tv is special - it is hidden in a compartment in front of the bed.. there is also a radio/alarm clock which is Apple compatible so you can play your music via your iphone.. Breakfast is ok with the standard variety of eggs, sausages, cheese, cold cuts, bread, fruits and cereals.

This is our second trip to interlaken and we again having the same nice experience in the hotel, being a couple our demands is simple to a nice cossy bed , good condition facilities and swim in early morning. The breakfast having lots of varieties and the hotel hospitality is so amazing. Locationwise, close to train station "interlaken west" and the hotel provides a free tickets during the stay to move around interlaken stations and buses for free; its in a quite location with great view of the mountain. Overall who appreciates family owned business then the stay will be appreciated as it has a lot of warm and happiness into each visit.

When deciding where to stay for our trip up Jungfraujoch... whether to commute back to Lucerne or stay in Interlaken. We opted for Interlaken. And it was the best decision considering the day trip alone was quite extensive with the changes in altitude. The hotel facilities matches with our requirements though having a microwave available would have been a plus. The staffs from reception to restaurant to housekeeping are friendly and efficient. We’d definitely stay here again when we’re back in the area.

This hotel was one of my favorite of all on our trip. My mom and I traveled together. Hotel De la Paix was conveniently located near downtown Interlaken and Interlaken West train station. You can walk there easily. There are many shops and restaurants within walking distance also. The room was nice and clean, and the staff were very helpful, especially Charlotte. She went above and beyond to be helpful from getting us a fan to finding my mom's lost credit card and sending it to us. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Interlaken. I will definitely stay there again when I return next, hopefully soon. :)

i was hoping the hotel would be closer to the train station but it's quite a walk, slightly over 10min, from interlaken west (and much further from interlaken ost). the hotel is quite prominent as it's all red. you feel quite safe because the door is locked and needs to be accessed with hotel card. we arrived early and were given our rooms. there is no lift so pray that you get a room on the lower floor. the hotel is clean and is run by whom i assume are a husband and wife couple, very nice and helpful people who explain interlaken, its attractions to you patiently. all guests have a free pass for the buses in interlaken so that's very helpful! the hotel is near a few bus stops so that's more helpful than the trains. the room was clean and decent. nothing spectecular inside the room but it's good value for money. the two rooms we got both had mountain view so that was nice! breakfast is all right. nothing to complain about. something strange is that they do not allow food in rooms. you'll be fined if you cook instant noodles in the room. oh, they provide a coffee machine that uses capsules (similar to nespresso). overall, not bad for the price we paid.

We absolutely LOVE Interlaken! Staying at Hotel Metropole was the perfect location, right on the strip. We stayed on the 13th floor which for the best view on the city and made nights very quiet! We appreciated the staff being very helpful in giving us recommendations for what to see, where to eat, etc. Hotel Parking was no hassle to find very cheap, (8CHF/night). Overall, if we were lucky enough to get to come back to a Interlaken, we would definitely book with Hotel Metropole again!

The place is supposed to be 2 stars but it’s way better than all the hotels we stayed in Italy. It’s clean, with basic facilities that you’ll need, breakfast were good with enough selections. It’s very near the MTR (5 minutes) and has a few convenience stores 6 minutes away. They don’t have a restaurant but they provided a common area where you can cook and eat food. Very nice touch. They have an elevator for your luggages so you don’t have to carry them up. Their key system is also cool. Rooms are quite big and beds are comfortable. If we come back to Interlaken, we will definitely come back to the same hotel. Highly recommended hotel. Value for money.

Nice place to stay in West Interlaken. The hotel is within walking distance from the train station. We got their early, our room wasn't ready but the manager gave us the guest pass for free travel on the local buses. The staff was overall nice and very helpful. The only thing I did not like was the extra charge for the child sleeping in parent's room. We stayed in two other hotels in Switzerland and none demanded this charge.

Had a great time. Daniel at reception was kind enough to have our room ready for early check in. They provide a free guest card which can be used to ride any bus within the city, pretty convenient when coming from Interlaken OST. Rooms are pretty big and has views of the surrounding mountains. No balcony. Bathrooms are pretty small and shower is not so convenient. Great variety of breakfast menu. Timing is perfect as well, most offers 6.30-10am but they extend till 10.30am. The reception desk staff is pretty helpful and you can book the jungfraujoch ticket from the reception itself. However I suggest using the official mobile app from www.sbb.ch. No need for any papers, just book on mobile with a credit card and you are good to go. It even shows the platform from where you are suppose to change to connecting trains. Overall this hotel is a pretty good option if you are considering 4-5 days or even a short stay in Interlaken.

We arrived late that day at the hotel, after a long sight seeing trip around Interlaken. Upon our arrival, we met Sonja-- the owner. She actually shown us a few of the rooms and let us choose whatever we want personally. Finally we decided to pay a little extra from the rate we pay and with this we actually get a much bigger and better view room, free wifi, free breakfast and also free SAUNA! We took some rest and decided to try out the sauna. The sauna rooms were great. They have a few types of sauna rooms and I actually did enjoyed a few of them. After the sauna, I actually get a massage session with Antonio (Hope I get his name right). Personally I think this is the best massage I ever experience. Its so relaxing... Please book in advance because they are nearly full everyday! After the massage, we were too tire and fall asleep without having a chance to try out the dinner at the hotel. However, we did had the breakfast they serve at the hotel the next morning. The breakfast is something special to me. Its serve to you personally. They will asked you what you like and even served the eggs soft or hard as per your request. This to me is something pretty special and different from the buffet I always get from SPG or Shangrila! Overall, personally I think this is a very nice and relaxing hotel to stay in.... If you asked if I would ever stay in this hotel again.... For sure... YES!

It's a very short walk (5 min) from the Interlaken West Train Station, you just need to follow the path right next to the railway track. I booked for a family of 7 people but 2 couldn't make it. It can sleep 11 people so it was indeed very spacious. It was very clean, well kempt on arrival. TV quite small but didn't really matter as we were out most of the time. There is a grocery store very close by so if you need anything in short notice then it's a good option. I found a very nice souvenir shop just a few yards away from the grocery store. I would highly recommend this shop! There's also a river next to this apartment and it's nice for a pleasant evening stroll. I would definitely recommend this place.

Although many reviewers had recommended staying at one of the smaller car free villages we are really glad we chose to base ourselves at Victoria Jungfrau in Interlaken especially as we were travelling with large suitcases. The hotel is an excellent location within walking distance to both Train stations making it very easy to visit Jungfraujoch, Schilthorn or any of the alpine villages. The staff are courteous and helpful and the overall level of service is exceptional. Dinner at La Terrasse was fabulous - the food and service was exceptional. We were celebrating our 10th year anniversary and they had decorated the table as well as arranged a cake for us and all these lovely gestures made us feel especially welcome. The spa and massages were fantastic and it was lovely to be able to come back to a luxurious room/ Spa facility to relax and unwind after a long day of hiking/ sightseeing.
