I chose this hotel for my mom and dad for their business trip in Iloilo based on the glowing reviews. Afterward, they had nothing but praises for the GT Hotel staff, who went beyond expectations in providing great accommodation and outstanding customer service. Sincere apologies and immediate action to address was observed when given feedback. When we decided to extend...

All of the 21 hotels in iloilo are owned by the same company so theyre almost identical and their formula works. They're priced right, rooms are nice, locations are great , food in the restaurants are good. Im a business traveler so its ideal for me

The hotel staff were very accommodating. They allowed us to leave our luggages very early in the morning (before officially checking) in so that we could start our guimaras tour. They also help us get a taxi all the time. The location of the hotel is also perfect. It is within walking distance from sm city iloilo and tatoy’s atria! I would definitely stay here again if...

Great price for a beautiful resort in the heart of Smallville. It has the most gorgeous pool you must see for yourself to believe. Multi leveled pool with waterfalls and a water slide and lovely lighting. This hotel has everything you could need within walking distance. Their own outdoor bar/patio with a band. The entire band is incredibly talented I felt as if I wa...

Goldberry Lite Hotel is one of the newest hotels in the heart of Iloilo. As I was told, the building from which the hotel stands is the refurbished building(s) of the University of Iloilo Engineering Department. One of the reasons why I decided to stay here in the first place was that the place was relatively new. I booked using Agoda and value for money was right on t...

Hotel is practically a stone's throw away from the port area where you arrive from Bacolod and if you want to take a boatride going to Guimaras. also good for its wide open space in the room, big enough for you to move around comfortably. Food in the lobby resto is standard fare you would find in most Iloilo hotels Hotel is also good environment friendly hotel as it...

My husband and I had a two-night stay in this hotel. Note that prior to this trip I stayed here three years ago as a solo traveller but it was a so-so experience. This time it was an excellent stay considering that I was travelling with a PWD on a wheelchair. I've had a few pre check-in inquiries directly to the hotel and they were able to answer my questions patien...

if you're travelling to iloilo, make sure to stay in anhawan beach resort and spa. this resort is probably the best they have in place. rooms and amenties leveled up to elegance and the services they offer are up high to the standards of other well-known resorts in the country. relaxation and peace of mind? definitely can be found here. the room is very spacious so as ...

Booked Casa Tentay at the last minute since we had to come to Iloilo a day earlier than planned. Most taxi's are not aware of the place so use waze or google maps. Hotel must have been a heritage house converted to a bed and breakfast and as such only offers basic amenities. Would stay here again. Pros: - Location: Walking distance to Jaro Cathedral and Robinson's P...

Have stayed here a few times. Small hotel, nicely decked out. Rooms are named by letter - Q was a nice, little bit funky, simple room. f Very good value for money and friendly service. Some of the taxi drivers don't know it..so pick a landmark like Gaisano, Lapaz Market, Nuat Thai (next door) or a Church (forget it's name). Hasn't got a restaurant of its own (so ...

I am always visiting Iloilo regularly in the past 6 months for a project and I always stay in this hotel. The hotel is centrally located - downtown and within the the vicinity of market place. This area you will see the old Iloilo setting. The Best way to know Iloilo. All your needs is just around the corner - supermarket, restaurants and spa. Well it's noisy outsi...

Tell us more here (optional)As with all great places to stay on vacation, it's the people who make it worthwhile. so it is with the staff of IBH: they were attentive, patient and most of all helpful. in a word, WONDERFUL! Thanks, Eddie and staff for a great stay in Iloilo - geo

Right smack in the midst of downtown Iloilo. Hotel interiors presentable enough. Great staff, helpful, informative, engaging. Single room big enough, cleaned every day, fresh towels provided, bed immaculately made up. Ample breakfast, choice of eggs, bread or fried or steamed rice, a banana, Thing is, main choices are always greasy stuff -- like corned beef, longa...

Excellent location with city clean river view, room is comfortable clean and well attended daily. staff are accommodating with a smile,my favorite-gym also very spacious and complete of my needs, the highly recommended lap pool gave us relaxing view and spacious during our morning and afternoon coffee time.secured and value for money compare to other hotel in Iloilo whi...

I found this hotel via Agoda when I searched for stay in Iloilo and I filtered my search that has the cheapest rate. I will give them 5 star for the value of money and yet the cleanliness of the room, coldness of aircondition has never been compromised though you cannot book the hotel directly via agoda. They will direct you to booking.com for reservation. The payment ...

Grand Dame Hotel, without a doubt is my favorite hotel in Iloilo. I'm a business traveler and stay in hotels all the time. This gem of a hotel provides 4-star services amidst the hustle and bustle of La Paz Market (a place of wonder but that's another review!). Its staff is first rate and there's no other hotel I will stay at when I'm in Iloilo.

Hotels room although old but big, clean and smells good. Staff are accommodating. They gave us info where to go for the beautiful spots in Iloilo. my cousins left their bags for later check-in since they arrived around 10am. When they comeback in the night,it is inside their room. Thanks staff! Food- it sounds expensive but when the order arrived, it's huge! Good for ...

this is probably the 8th hotel i've stayed in at the philippines, and it is easily and simultaneously both the cheapest and highest quality hotel room i've stayed in . although i rarely care about aesthetics, the door, bedframe, and mirror frame are polished, solid wood with an excellent look. this hotel is a bit older but manages to pull off elegance, at least i...

We had to wait for our room to be available since current guest have not checked out yet but the staff took initiative and offered us one of the rooms we could use temporarily until our room would be available! That’s what you call customer service! Kudos. If i have my runs again in iloilo would definitely be back here!

My family and I absolutely love this place, we wish we could have stayed longer. It's a quiet place in Iloilo, perfect for a family that just needs to relax. The kids have the pool and mini playground to keep themselves busy. We also love the lagoon where we went used the paddle boats. We wish we could have gone fishing there too but unfortunately they didn't allow us ...

We were looking for the perfect bed and breakfast here in Iloilo and we found the place. Everything you need is literally here. What's great is that they gave us a free gym pass and the co-working office space. As a writer traveling with hubby, Bonds served as a great office space for the day. Laundry is downstairs too, so everything is convenient. Only drawbacks duri...

We received the best customer oriented/customer service experience. Been staying from diff hotels in Iloilo bcoz of my check-up but for us J7 HOTEL is BEST from the location, cleanliness, hospitality, rooms services, restaurant, staff and everyone else. Thank you so much!

I stayed here with my mom for 4 nights for a congress I had to attend in Iloilo City. The room we checked in is very spacious. The staff were friendly and helped us arrange for a free shuttle to go to the venue of the congress. The staff also offer great recommendations on where to eat. The hallway on the fifth floor was hot but since we didn't spend much time here, we...
Cheap places to stay in Iloilo

Room was very simple: not the best bed, and there's no shower, only a toilet. Ants crawling on my stuff. Located at the beach but it's not really attractive for swimming: brown water and dark sand. Far from the city centre, but easy to catch a jeepney. No wifi. But the most important and worst: it's super noisy, so bring your earplugs. You can hear the karaoke all nigh...

We stayed 3D/2N and we did not encounter any problem. Our room has both hot & cold water. Breakfast (bacon, scrambled egg & plain rice) was served in our room upon our request for a cheap price of P45.00/pax only and we are satisfied with it. Walking distance from the hotel is Emilio's Resto (just beside JD Bakeshop) which serves a buffet Filipino merrienda for P99/p...

It was great staying in the hotel, the staffs are friendly they can extend their jobs to the maximum limit but they should be trained well and get familiarized to the room reservation (not all guest have the same patient like us). the hotel should have to be particular in leaving the room clean and prepare all the needed complimentary stuffs needed for the number of gu...

Fortunately for pineridge, they snagged the best view of the Leon mountain range. Place woulda been a five star if it wasn't for the staff who treated like we were tresspassing the property even though we already paid for our accommodation via agoda before we even set foot there. The tent accomm doesnt have water for bathing. We had to plead our way to the second flo...

The hotel is a little bit old and the CR is not that clean though good thing is that they have hot and cold shower. The hotel is located at the back of Jaro Cathedral and near market place. There is a lot of fast food in the area. The hotel is one ride away from Tagbac - Ceres terminal. They can improve the cleanliness of the CR. AC is good and the bed is clean. They h...

We arrived late but where greeted by a helpful night manager who couldn't have been better, all of the staff where great. But the rooms although clean and a good size need some money spent on then, in the first room the toilet didn't flush, in the second the door knobs where gone and the room had a tired and used feel to it. The hotel is on a main road to the city, so...

Was passing by iloilo on the way to Boracay and decided to stop over in Iloilo for a night to see what it has to offer. a small city that is not as rich as Cebu for tourist but worth a night or two to see the churches and have a meal of the pride of iloilo (BakChoy). Stumbled upon Go hotels. A simple hotel with the motto of everyone can stay. Among our travel in Ce...

It is located in downtown area. Perfect for Dinagyang. It is near to malls, shops, restaurants and street food. The place has strong wifi but some rooms cannot be reached by wifi. The room is good and the staff are helpful and trying their best to assist us.

The room is nice but looks dark due to limited lights. The bed is very comfortable. Room and bathroom are clean, except for some ants in the wall near the aircon. I was surprised that the entry to the rooms is through a narrow path beside the reception and kitchen. The food is delicious and serving is good for two persons.

We really enjoyed our time in this hotel. First of all I like to thank Soc, Sheila, Peter(Chef) Nober and the rest of the staff. Soc without hesitation arranged our tour and places to visit. On top of that Sheila volunteered to be our tour guide which made a very memorable trip. Our chef Peter always prefer our dinner to our taste. Nober is a very safe driver and...

This was my second stay in this hotel. I returned because my first stay proved to be an excellent one, given the price. The hotel is new so the rooms are also new. They provide toiletry bags, which I find thoughtful given that more expensive hotels in Iloilo do not provide the same courtesy. They also have a fitness room at the 5th level with brand new equipment, a...

Old historical mansions like casa Mariquit, Lizares mansion, Jaro cathedral is a place to visit. A day in Guimaras where you will find the Sweetest mango on earth that was served in Buckingham palace and The White House.
I stayed four nights in Iloilo and i totally fell in love with the city. Iloilo is really a good place to get to know the real philippinian life.
Iloilo is fast developing but needs tourism promotions. Brochures and handouts should be given at the hotel desk.
Iloilo is definitely becoming another hub in Visayas for business. Developments in key areas in the main city is quite obvious.
I love the place. My first time to visit the place and I was amazed at its beauty and cleanliness. I went there to 'feel' my roots.
Not much to do. But the local food is interesting. And a few of the old churches. Nightlife is in Smallville near the former airport.
The city has many districts that each showcase different characteristics. They are rich in culture, history, and religiosity.
Iloilo is a great city to visit. I suggest hiring a van when you go around Iloilo. The van will take you to all tourist spots and historic places.
This website is not helpful: Iloilo and Guimaras are two VERY different places. One is a busy, dirty city, the other a much greener island.
It has mproved very much since last year, I can see the city claiming back its glory as queen city outside manila, the boardwalk is out of this world, you got to see and walk it, both side of the river, they are not done yet.
Iloilo and guimaras got everything good about the philippines in one area - history, culture, nature, and entertainment!
beaches, farms, camps, adventure resorts and many more. guimaras is a perfect place for travelers of any age!
If you love beaches and nature... go to Guimaras Island. It's just 15 minutes away from Iloilo City by ferry boat.
I enjoyed my time in Iloilo. There are some great places to eat. Give yourself plenty of time as the traffic can be very busy at some times.
The once laid back scene of Iloilo City is now fast changing and there are a lot of developments in the area as new infrastructure are fast changing the landscape of the area.
FOr an authentic Ilonggo experience, try the original Lapaz Batchoy in Netongs Batchoy Restaurant inside Lapaz Market and cap it with a nice coffee at Madge Cafe
one must go to iloilo for a food trip. oysters are very fresh and affordable, you can eat several buckets of this.
we had a wonderful stay at iloilo because of its yummy food. you should not leave the place without having the yummiest oysters at breakthrough, lapaz batchoy from the market, coffee and cake from the market as well.
The people in Iloilo are the greatest assets. They are truly warm and hospitable. I always got exact change back from the taxis and jeeps, people were so willing to point me in the right direction, and I never felt like anyone tried to pull a fast one on me.
The agoda system prevents any sensible comments. Iloilo is a smelly city; Guimaras is a quieter and less smelly island but with without much notion of what tourists might require.
Iloilo is a major sea port serving the Philippines and has a fair amount of history dating back to the early Chinese occupants who were living in Molo centuries ago .
I stayed in Iloilo, but I went there to meet some families further north east that was terrible hit by the typhone.
Iloilo City is known as City of Love, the people are lovely and friendly. Iloilo is full of charm, the food is delicious and the most exciting event is the Dinagyang Festival that held every last weekend of January and follows the Paraw Regata contest a parade of small Sailing Boats with their beautiful creation and paintings.
This area's people are really nice and totally different from other regions in the Philippines. I haven't seen some bad people in this area.
Enjoying going to Iloilo for business every now and then. People are very accommodating and very friendly.
The city of Iloilo is a major sea port dating back several hundred years . There started in the Molo district of the city the first large Chinese ethnic immigrants bringing the interesting and diverse fabric to society and custom in both trade and culture .
centrally located, shopping malls, good food, friendly people, you can find almost anything that you need in the mall or nearby shopping centers
My stay was short and I have been longing to get back and spend some more time seeing the rest of the city.
Take a journey back to history by visiting local churches throughout the province. Miag-ao Church is a personalfaborite
Iloilo is my hometown so I will always love this place. It just needs to improve the way they interact with tourists.
