Where to stay in Chonburi
Chonburi hotels & accommodations

I've stayed here twice, and the last time I thought it was better than the first. I think it actually looks better in real life. I was in quite a comfortable room, bed was good, location is very convenient. Compared to Bangkok, Chonburi hotels are very expensive, so it's not exactly great value. But it is good and one of the best in Chonburi.

Nice room, facilities, breakfast, and staff. Location is a bit far from Chonburi town and Pattaya town, car needed but shuttle service to Chonburi town every half and hour which is very convenience for no car traveller. Most of staff are good service excepted one house keeping which very rude when I asked for additional shampoo and body soap, she loudly asked another ...

Never think you can't get a cheap room when you try to book a room directly with the hotel. I tried three times and was told that they only had a standard room available, which was about twice as the one I could book online. I guess the staff were told to do so. This is so true for this hotel. I have had many lucks with other hotels in Thailand when I booked with them...

I really enjoyed my first visit to Thailand and the hotel had was an important element of my overall experience. On arrival - check in was seamless and I stayed on the 17th floor which was brilliant for the views, there are 4 lifts there so you don't wait long at all for a lift, it's literally seconds. Overall 37 or so floors so the speed of lifts is quite impressive....

We had issue with mosquitoes for the first room they gave us on the first floor for a premier room. We asked to be moved to the third floor which was not bad for the view and no more mosquitoes. The problem with all the rooms were the toilets were stink. It could be the plumbing issues of the city. And there were no elevator so if you stay for a week you may not be...

Actually we are plan to stay near beach but all occupied due to long holiday in Thailand. and Oakwood is the best solution in this area as I used to stay while travel for business trip in other country, and that gurantee hotel quality No need to depended on luck for staff and hotel facilities.. Place close to both Zoo in Chonburi..Swimming pool was fabulous view.. we ...

the best place i had ever stayed, room is too clean and very very comfortable. feel much better than home. location wise is located at a quiet place and its walk able distance to sea side which is just right in front of it. The price is way too cheap to pay for something this great. i will definitely go back again to the same place.

I enjoy the service provided and staff hospitality. It offers what u expect from a 4-star hotel. Centrally-located and convenient to many attraction. Only problem is the protocol with the check in. With my three-night paid booking, I could not check in for the first night as planned due to accident. So I called the hotel directly to ask for the check in on the 2nd and...

Very clean modern looking room...Perfect sea view...Fridge air conditioning perfect...Owner very warm friendly...Very comfortable bed with nice white clean sheets...Very good and clean well maintained bathroom...Secure on site parking...5 min walk to all bars restaurant shops...Peaceful location...Very reasonable price... 😀 Pete & Fon UK England & Thailand

We booked this room to take our thai in laws on a short break to the seaside resort, and if anyone knows, if you are asked to book 4 double rooms for 8 people, dont be surprised when 11 people in total turn up..!!. The staff were great.. sorted another room for us at a discounted rate, and put extra beds in other rooms at no charge, only paid for the extra breakfasts. ...

We booked via agoda but we had a chance to ask for more details to hotel staff. The staff had an immediate reply to our messages. We required early check-in which was arranged for us rapidly. The room is clean. The toilet has both shower and bath tub. Seaview is very beautiful and quite. Staff are very friendly. It's a good place to stay kalm.

Stayed to play golf in Chonburi. Pattana golf excellent including driving range available all day. Hotel near to several good courses. One down side was that the booking with Agoda was for the 'Mansion House' (which is the other side of the golf course not near the other buildings) and not the main hotel complex (this was not made clear when I made the booking. I upgra...

Overall it’s cool and nice. The place’s so quite, peaceful, and clean. I booked 2 family room. The room’s extramely clean and big for 4 adult and 1 children. My brother (kid) love the bathroom. I have a recommandation if anyone want to see the best view, you should select upper floor.

I chose this hotel based on the excellent reviews on this website, and I had a wonderful stay at this uniquely designed hotel. Hotel facilities : The 9-10 months old hotel is uniquely designed in modern contemporary style, with a excellent mix of the modern twist and traditional local flashbacks. The hotel do provide casual bicycles to explore the rustic attractions ...

Initially chose this hotel due to drive time from bangkok, and reviews, and we were not disappointed. Reception on arrival was warm, and allowed us to access room early which was very convenient. The staff seemed very pleasant, and this continued during the weekend in all parts of the hotel. Staff english was good, which helped this lazy farang. The beach was clean and...

I came to Panitar House just for a few days over Songkran celebrations as a solo traveler. Was a nice room, clean and with modern, basic facilities. The hotel is small and in a perfect location right by the beach and main attractions in Bang Saen - infinity pool and pool bar at the top are great, with views over the ocean, beach and beach road. The building towers ov...

This is the hotel that I can feel coming home to whenever I need to come to Sri Racha, and that’s often! The staff are super friendly and helpful, they try their best to meet requests. The rooms and suites are nicely set up - ample cabinet space, clean and bright. Location is good, plenty of eateries in the neighbourhood and 5 mins walk to Robinson.

Firstly the hotel is a little out of the way overlooking a small beach (which houses a decent restaurant) and a pub next door. Otherwise you will need transport - the hotel is midway between Chonburi and Pattaya and was handy for us as we were visiting relatives. Dont be fooled by the hotels website directions which say it is South of Si Racha because it is North! T...

It was hard to find the hotel using google map and the entrance is very narrow and hotel exterior looked really old. This place is like a service apartment though. Located near Sammook view point with little private beach where we can do some fishing, so we enjoyed it. Considered no service in the hotel like restaurant or where you can get food nearby but there are som...

My husband and I were in Thailand for the Asia Indoor Hockey Cup. We booked the Patt Serviced Apartments before we knew where in Chonburi the tournament was to be held. We were delighted with the accommodation. It was easy to catch a motorbike taxi ride each day to the tournament venue. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff were very obliging and friendly. Th...

Somewhere Si Chang is a really cute and little boutique Hotel on the Island. Maybe the best place there! Hotel is brand new, everything very clean and tidy. The rooms are very nice decorated in maritime style and you ll have as far as I can judge in all rooms sea hew! The Staff is very polite, nice, friendly and helpful. They insisted to serve breakfast even the break...

Geared towards japanese business people. On site is a very good japanese restaurant, Shiki. You must try if staying here. Was on way to rayong for koh samet on a moped, decided to stop here instead. Ended staying for two nights, never made it to ko samet. No regrets. Got to enjoy the fitness centre, pool, and Sento (銭湯). On second night, got hotel staff to connect a dv...

Buffet breakfast is acceptable. Clean spacious room but the bed is pretty hard. Watch out for sharp corners on the furniture, think it could be harmful for younger kids. Friendly staffs. My girl enjoyed free bike rent to the beach. Swimming pool looks good but don't think anyone could swim during breakfast hours.

Room, location, facilities were quite well arranged. Breakfast was congee soup with big shrimp which tasted quite alright but seasoning wasn’t given along with the food. Swimming pool - didn’t get a chance to visit but as I could see there were too many kids playing around pretty long and we decided not to go. Our building is located inside and there was a back d...

The room was ok but the bathroom was terribly dirty alot of grime on tiles and the shower heater box nearly fell off the wall. The airconditioning was cool but we needed to put a bucket underneath it to stop the drips of water making the tiled floor slippery, the tv was ok but the pillows and bed are firm and not comfortable I believe the hotel needs and bit of TLC and...

We stayed here on a weekend away from Bangkok. We drove by car which tool 90 minutes. One note is that the hotel was wrongly placed on google maps. My wife is a thai speaker and the hotel gave us good directions over the phone but we would have struggled otherwise. Best things were the rooms and the sea view - we had a one bedroom suite which is large,s pacey with ...

Overall we had a very good stay at Le Casa Bang Saen. The pool is beautiful, complete with jacuzzi and there are some (half a dozen) chaise lounges. We were the only foreign ladies staying there that I saw, so there was not much competition to get to the chaise lounges. The pool was all one depth, so not exactly ideal for kids who cannot swim well, but with the proper ...

I have stayed at 3 different hotel Sriracha but this the best. From outside looked like really high class hotel and inside was not a disappointment . Not centrally located but only 3 minute drive from center so no problem for me anyways. Half price of places I stayed before and far superior so I will always return here. Whole building is new so not like some hotel wher...

stayed here during the long weekend. it was very hard to book a last minute room. The hotel was quite far to get to, that was the only problem I had with it. The room itself was quite big, it was very clean and you could tell that their housekeeping staff put their heart into cleaning the room, the hair dryer cable was neatly curled and packed. The air conditioning wa...
Cheap places to stay in Chonburi

It was the first but not the last time that we were staying in this hotel. Very clean rooms, friendly staff, free toast and coffee in the morning and a very good price made it to one of our favourite hotels in Chonburi Area! Only 2 minutes away from the motorway A7 and food corners all around!!

Got a car? A fine, basic, Thai style hotel, just off the main Pattaya, Sri-Racha to Chonburi, Bangkok road. Thai style here means, aircon, fridge, very very hard bed (not at all my cup of tea). Book online for a much better price. BUT, a 45 minutes brisk walk to the Beach or Bang Saen or anywhere. Not a holiday option if you are visiting as a backpacker.

The room was very clean and it had the basic amenities. Not your 4-5 hotel but i love the room. It was clean and it's big! Very cheap, too. Definitely more than worth the money we paid for. We checked in for the fun run which was close to the resort. If you're wanting to experience the sea foods and relax, i would highly recommend this resort.

Very clean, newer, large room, safe car park, nice staff. But, it is a rent by the hour hotel or something. People making noise all night. Coming and leaving, staying only for short while. Staff cleaning the rooms all night, making a lot of noise and talking all night. Preparing for next short term visitors.

Location, if you don't have a car to drive. It is very inconvenient if you want to go to Patsy's. The overpass is far from the hotel. We had to take minibus to the overpass then walk across to other side. The hotel has no shampoo, conditioner or lotion provided in the room.

The room is reasonably clean and air conditioning is good. It is just several minutes walk to Big C mall. There is a small food centre in the mall and also a Major Cineplex. However, the cineplex screens only Thai movies and also western movies dubbed in Thai language. Central plaza Chonburi is a bigger mall located probably 1km away. Cross the main road to take a je...

Hotel is off the beaten track. Unless you drive, it is quite difficult to locate. Small room and has a musty smell. There were ants all over the small balcony and they came creeping into the room the moment you open the sliding door of the balcony. There was no staff at the reception. You had to call them to check in and drop your keys off at the letter box to check ou...

What an awesome place. Five minute walk to the main area of the beach. Lots of restaurants around for meals anytime of the day. Room is very big, newly renovated and very comfortable. My room said double bed, which meant 2 queen beds! So they pushed them together and l had a massive comfortable bed! The owner is very nice and speaks good English. l will stay there agai...

If you're looking for quiet place but not too far from the main road, then this is a right place to stay. The room was clean, big, and comfortable for couple. Ther's nothing more to say. We were glad to book the hotel, and absolutely will going back for another visit to Koh Sichang

I booked this place just because it seems to be the closest hotel to the industrial estate. Surprisingly, it is even closer than I expected, just 5 mins drive. Besides, I rate 10/10 for comfort and cleaness. The only comment I have is about elevator. It seems that this 3-story building has no elevator.

The condo is located a few km from Central plaza Chonburi and is actually more accessible via motorcycle taxi. The most enticing thing about the condo is there is a rather good gym for free use. 7-eleven convenient store is about 10-minute walk away.

I stayed here for 1 night, this hotel is new and very clean. Friendly staff. Parking lot is around the building and I think it's enough for all hotel guests. No breakfast but you can drink free coffee at hotel lobby. This place is located on Sukhumvit Road not far from Central Chonburi and Big C Chonburi. Easy to find and access. The thing that I don't like - hotel's...

This place is very new and clean. You may confuse because in Agoda shown many Central Place Angsila but there's only one. As I reserved name Central Place Angsila but when I arrived the its name Central Place Angsila 2. We'll visit this place again when we go to Bangsaen or Angsila as it's the best location. You can find many food streets or convenience store around t...

It was first time to visit this facility in Sriracha Chinburi Thailand. I have selected and booked here for my friend as business visiting. The price was very reasonable and facility was new. The Staff was exceptionally helpful, taking the time get my immigration paperwork in order; passport copies, glueing photo, expediting my paperwork & answeing questions. The unsolicited help saved me an extra 30 minutes at immigration. When you arrive or are just waiting for a Tuk Tuk they offer you a chilled glass of fresh clementine juice, a very nice touch. First time to come here. I really wonderful with the small hotel and lovely staff. Location a bit far from the city, but the hotel service to call Tuk Tuk no charge for us. The room so beautiful decoration and clean. I'm very impressive their staff for giving me borrow motorcycle to take my friend who was diarrhea to hospital at night. All of this pay just THB 999 very...

This hotel is perfect for business traveller who requires travel to Amata Chonburi Industrial Park on next day. The front desk staff are great. I encountered wifi log in problem with my laptop and they helped to check it, and also provide a LAN cable. Even though the attempt to log in was failed, but I really appreciated their service. The room is spacious. The booking came with breakfast which is quite a good spread and has a lot of hard to find japanese dishes. This place is designed for Japanese but with declining Japanese numbers you see some Koreans, Taiwanese, locals, coming in more and more. Though ageing, the place is will maintained, including the gym equipment, swimming pool and whirlpool, ...

We are very thankful that we choose to stay in this hotel during our vacation in thailand. Very quite or peaceful. All staff were very friendly and they will really attend to your needs. We had a nice 1 night stay at Burapha golf and resort. The room was of a good size and tastefully decorated. Our view overlooking some of the golf practice area was fine and therefore easy to go out and practice. Our meals in the restaurant were fine - good taste and good price. The resort is not close to any other restaurant/shops etc so it is a good idea to stock up ...

Hotel is great if you are a golfer as the lodge is on the course. Very quiet in the evenings with nothing to do. Too far from any good restaurants as the restaurant was very limited and we ate on our own every evening. We stayed too long and in fact left one day earlier than planned. I would reccommend it to golfers for one night or maximum two nights preferably in a g...

Real reviews for hotels
There are a lot of Chinese qroup tour at the Beach. Here is downtown Beach. Great place for who love shopping and nightlife.
First time in Chonburi. I loved this city. Chonburi is not to far from Pattaya, if you are looking for the best night entertainment available.
This is about the city of Muang,Chonburi. many good places to eat along with a large night market near the big long pier area.
My first visit and only stayed 2 days, but will certainly return there in the future - found the electronics located at the the malls quite inexpensive to the likes of Bangkok and the bigger cities in Thailand
Chonburi covered Pattaya and Bang saen, these 2 areas is at beach side but there is east and west. Both is nice places, Pattaya is more nightlife spots and restaurant versus Bang Saen but you never find any cheaper and fresh sea foods unless you visit to Bang saen.
Chonburi is covered Pattaya and Bang Saen areas, which is from east to west. If you plan to have the activities at beach or nightlife .
I recommended you to go to Peak-mon-dha-lay restaurant, nearly Kho-Sam-muk and AngSiLa. The owner was very nice,he is about 70yrs but friendly and absolutely his taste was very delicious.
Chonburi has many parts to it from Bustling Pattaya, to quiet Rayong...fishing village of Sirracha and fun beach of Jomtien .
The hotel is nowhere near Chomburi its siracha after 10 at night there is nothing to do no where is open no nightlife very little to do in the day time
Unlike Phuket, Krabi & Pattaya, rest of Chonburi is untouched by rapid commercialization and is a truer Thai experience in terms of food, hospitality, and everyday life
Chonburi is located in the East of Thailand, most of attrative place in the province is Night life, beach, seafood the price is acceptable and people here are friendly.
A lot of nightlife stuff here. Nice beaches, friendly people and stuff. But some places are very crowded with tourists.
Chonburi province they have many things to do.U can play goft and go to the beach is not fat.it's not far from Bangkok too.
Chon Buri is a large area and each part differing slightly in what attractions there are. I stay in Bangsaen to visit the university, the beaches, monkey mountain and sriracha tiger zoo.
Chonburi is known for Bang Sean beach. Dirty, crowded. Can not see the beach for the 100's of beach chairs and prolific number of food stalls.
The main attractions near Bangkok very soon. Can go and return in one day. There are beaches to relax.
Chonburi is a province that has a number of well-known beaches so you can visit beaches like Bangsean, Pattaya, Jomtien, etc.
Plan ahead, no need to pick hotel on beach because many hotels are on walking distance. Easy to drive around, the car rentals are at reasonable prices.
it's very close to bkk only 1 hr. drive. Moreover there are a lot of fresh seafood restaurants there.
A unattractive city, infested with cars and bedevilled with a convoluted one-way system if it has any redeeming features, I've yet to find them.
Chonburi is not a tourist city, but it is a good place from where you can make many trips to islands, surroundings, or to toerist places like pattaya.
Chonburi is a typical medium size Thai city, nothing special. It is close to Pattaya, which is the sleaziest beach town in the world, with is never-ending escapades of serial depravity and debuachery.
